The pay back is a small amount. I hope my out of pocket is honored, and I get fully reimburse next time I take my pet to the vet.

I’ve had a good experience with Pets Best for the past 1.5 years. Turnaround time for my claims are usually within 2 weeks. I think it is worth the price. I feel more comfortable knowing my dog has insurance especially for future illnesses.

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats insured for accident and illness, and the 3 dogs also for wellness. I did my research before selecting PetsBest and I think they had the best range of coverage and price for my needs. So far I haven't met my deductibles for any of my pets for accident or illness which is a good thing I guess. I decided that it wasn't worth it to get the wellness plan for my cats because the annual coverage total is less than the total annual cost. For one of my dogs, he had his teeth cleaned and thus I the wellness paid for itself. For my two younger dogs the annual wellness cost is more than the total reimbursement I will get (PetsBest coverage for vaccinations is totally inadequate; most of the reimbursement is for services like spaying that once does only once in dog's lifetime; coverage for teeth cleaning in only 1/4 of the cost by my vet), so I am thinking of dropping this part of the plan. On the other hand, they are great for covering meds for new conditions. One of my dogs needs Apoquel for severe allergies and reimbursement covers the cost of her illness plan.

Have not been with them for a long time. So far......they are prompt to reply to a claim and seem to be honest in their evaluations of the DVM and after deductibles......paying promptly. So far...so good.

I think they are awesome! Just wish claims got paid faster, but I’m not complaining. That is the only reason I did not give full 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great coverage compares to others but at times the folks who review claims have no idea what they are doing so I have to fight for benefits.

Pets Best Pet is very easy to file claims. I do wish that more preventive benefits covered as my last claim was $128 for vaccines and I only received $15 back.

Generally easy to understand EOB except when something is not covered. Also the turn around is a bit longer than usual but not excessive

I love having Pets Best insurance for our beloved rescue. I learned from friends how expensive doggie care can be and we wanted to rescue so bad, but couldn't handle the added expense an emergency could bring. That's when pet insurance was recommended to us. I researched a few and found I liked Pets Best for it's coverage, it's reimbursement rate, it's added wellness benefits and for it's affordable payments. The only problem I have is the wellness benefits kind of confuse me on their coverage. We just had her yearly exam and thought I'd be reimbursed more than I am but the claim says we've met the max for the year. I'm just happy I'm getting something back at this point.

At first, we thought, pet insurance sure seems frivolous. Nevertheless, we opted to get the unlimited 90% reimbursement unlimited policy on our then 9-week-old English Bulldog. Fast forward four months and that now almost 7-month-old English Bulldog had a major medical emergency. Our baby got the immediate vital surgeries he needed to live a healthy life without hemorrhaging our finances. We did pay the Vet out of pocket for all of the procedures and waited for PetsBest to address the claim we filed. Reasons for the 4-star review: Filing the claim was easy enough; straightforward with one caveat. There was one question that asked if we had seen another DVM; we had not seen anyone for this emergency. We later found out they wanted to know all the DVMs that had seen our pup, including the already listed primary veterinarian provider. The other reason for the four stars is the lack of communication from a person. Instead, the app was in a holding pattern on claims "awaiting records from the vet", which they already had from the surgeon and emergency clinic we took him to; I called that clinic multiple times asking if they had sent in r3cords. If they had wanted vet records from my primary DVM, I thought they had already obtained permission from the policy start; hence why I listed my primary DVM as well as informed that DVM of the PetsBest policy. We had to call a couple of times to finally be told the primary DVM needed to fax records in so that preexisting conditions could be ruled out for a 9-week-old puppy we started the policy on. I will also add, don't be in a rush to have your claims settled. It took 42 days just to hear back about the claim. We are still waiting for the check. Yes, direct deposit could have been done but that section was not on the app when we opened the policy. This duration is pretty standard for any pet insurance policy. I understand, emergencies and the human stress associated. Get the policy, take a deep breath and trust your pet will get what they need and your finances will not be impacted for long. Overall, this was worth the investment. Don't think pet insurance is frivolous like we initially thought. PetsBest has been an asset. We have had other policies on previous pets and livestock so I can honestly say, PetsBest is the best choice for dogs and cats. Do your homework and compare policy for policy, as we did, and I am sure you too will choose, PetsBest.

The customer service on the phone is awesome. Every time I have called and needed help with something, they were pleasant, professional and helpful. I had issues at the beginning of buying this insurance but I'm happy with it now. I would and have recommended this company
