“They are very quick with claims. The turn around is no more than a week. It is also very clear when they send the statements and explanations. They do not cover as much as I would like but it has worked out for us anyway. I would recommend this to others, it helps a lot with regular check-ups and preventative care!”

“Pets best has been great with coverage and helping through claims and processes. The only downfall has been the extended time for claims to be reviewed at times. Also being able to get pre approval for planned procedures would be beneficial.”

“Pretty easy process to submit a claim and a relatively quick turn-around for them to process the claim. However, I noticed that it's hard to add additional information to a claim, once it's been submitted.”

“So easy to use! Sometimes slow to process claims but not always they seem to cover most things. I have two former feral cats so not covering some preexisting conditions is not good but I’m sure all insurance is like that …”

“Havent used for while.Your PDF file was vague in regards to what amount of deductible is left for calendar year.Doesnt say a thing of any money into bank acct..I never have gotten any info about how company is doing..Have heard nothing for about 4 years!.Please keep me posted on your success in Pet Industry. Jeff Schufman.I would prefer getting a letter in future of any bills I submit..A I Phone to submit results to me is bad. I need a magnifing glass read it.. Any thing you can do would be appreciated.”

“I have been generally happy with Pets Best, I had AKC insurance for my other dog, and even though they are underwritten by the same company AKC seems to have a much faster payout of claims, I also have the routine care rider on my policy, but doing the math on how much it costs, and what it covers, It may just be cheaper to pay for routine care out of pocket, Routine Care doesn't even cover all the vaccines/boosters your pet needs in a year. They also failed to pay out when my pet was seen by a vet tech, saying that it wasn't performed under the supervision of a licensed vet, even though all the techs are supervised. However, even with all that said, I would recommend (and have recommended) Pets Best to others.”

“Most of my submissions have taken a very long time to review, but otherwise the services have been great. I am sure this is just due to understaffing. All representatives have been very nice and the process to submit on the website is so easy.”

“Very good service. Had been extremely helpful as my cat has gone through Cancer treatment. Only thing is it takes almost a month to get reimbursed which means occasionally I don't get the money back in time to get that large bill off my CC before I have to pay interest.”

“In my honest opinion, this pet plan is not bad. I like mostly everything about it. Minus a star for rejected claims/ reimbursements. When my claims get rejected there is no communication or message detailing why, it's just simply rejected. It's such a hassle to call into customer service, I could be waiting 30 mins to 45 mins just to speak to someone. Just for them to tell me to resubmit claims with a payment statement. If rejected claims can come with a detailed message, it cuts down having to call into customer service and waste and hour on the phone.”

“I am pleasantly surprised with this company. So far all the claims I have submitted (one medical all the rest wellness) I have received money back on each visit after meeting my deductible. I am happy this is working out as this is my first time having pet insurance and relieved the burden of all the costly vet bills.”
