“Submitting a claim is pretty painless. They did take a little while to process the claims, but they did send an email apologizing for the delay which was nice.”

“It was a terrible moment when I realized my cat had eaten part of an oriental lily and I found out that they are highly toxic and that the kidneys can shut down within 3 days and be fatal. I rushed my cat to the vet and they took incredible care of him, monitoring his kidney panel and using charcoal to draw out all the toxins after he vomited. Three days at the vet came to over $2,000. Pets Best reimbursed me just over $1,000, taking into account the $500 deductible and providing the promised 80%. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that it took almost three months and a phone call to get the funds directed to my account. But the amount was accurate without any issues. My beloved cat is now healthy and fully recovered and I was very grateful for my Pets Best insurance.”

“All was great except for the time it took to review Shadow's claim. It was put in before a claim concerning my other dog which was processed in a timely fashion.”

“I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because of the time my claims took to process. I was told there was a 42 day turn around for claims and it took all 42 days. I was very thankful though that even though it took a long time, I was reimbursed for every cent I anticipated I should be. I am so thankful I decided to get Pets Best Insurance when I did. I only had it in place a few months when my little buddy got sick out of nowhere. I feel so much better knowing I have it in place and that he can continue to get the care he needs without it being so stressful. And the agents I talked to anytime I called were always so pleasant and helpful.”

“It was a lengthy process to finally get my claim done, but it was worth it since they got it right for my pet’s dental claim for extractions. However, the amount for the wellness teeth cleaning was not correct and I had to call for another review for the balance due. Hopefully, that will be adjusted shortly.”

“I have both of my dogs insured with PetsBest. It's a bit pricey but once I meet my deductible it does help cover part of the cost of veterinary care for my pets. Filing claims online is relatively easy.”

“It's easy to use and speedy on claims. I would have given it a 5 if I could easily see my accumulated claims against the deductible. Hard to see how much I have submitted without adding each one up.”

“I'm glad we have some insurance. Didn't expect the eob buisness with what they will and won't pay for. This will end up directing vet care and eventually ruin the vet healthcare system just like it did to the human one. Anyway though, better than nothing.”

“I've been very happy with Pets Best for my golden retriever. I first liked that I could insure her before bringing her home as a puppy, so almost all of her waiting periods had passed by the time I picked her up. I was happy about the great selection of options to make my premium very affordable. It has been easy to submit my claims, and though I had heard that wait times for processing were longer than with some other companies, I have found that 2-3 weeks is the norm, and everything that I had assumed would be covered according to my plan was covered. I am rating 4.5/5 instead of 5/5 only because my premium did increase quite a bit from year one to two (though still much less than many other companies), so it does make me nervous about the upcoming years' increases, but with the amount that I was reimbursed for her health needs so far, it has been worth it.”
