“With the cost of everything rising including pet insurance, I wish a senior discount was offered for us that are on a fixed income/retired.”

“I love them and everyone who has a pet should have pets best insurance. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is not fair to pay $300 per month on pets insurance. Yes I have the best plan and yes they cover pretty much everything but still, $300 per months it’s not fair and every year they increase more and more.”

“Overall very good. Only leaving 4 stars because they take sometimes up to a month or longer to process claims and get you reimbursed. Also can be picky about receipts. I submitted a receipt for meds from Vetco and they reimbursed a portion but said the remaining 2 items needed itemized receipts. Didnt make sense given that they reimbursed for other items on the same receipt.”

“I am revising my review because what was allowed to be repaid was minus the deductible which I was sure I had paid already, but I had not. I was under the deductible and so I now rate them as a four since they explained it to me over the phone. It could possibly help in the future, but a new deductible starts again in July. You really need to read everything thoroughly and ask questions if you are not sure about reimbursements. Betty”

“The only reason I left 4 stars is the processing time for claims. It sometimes takes 3-4 weeks for a claim to go through. Other than that, I've had a great 3 years and counting with this company! It's definitely worth it!”

“The insurance coverage seems fair. But I always wait like 3-4 weeks for a claim to be processed. It’s a long waiting period if you have thousands of dollars tied up in the claim.”

“After trying a few different pet insurance companies, I landed on Pets Best and have been with them for years now. I have a senior Frenchie, so there are lots of vet visits for us, making pet insurance an absolute essential. I appreciate how easy the claims process is, and am glad that I was able to choose a plan with a reimbursement and monthly payment that worked for me. I took away a star because my monthly payment goes up substantially year after year. I understand from a business standpoint why they would do this considering an older dog is more likely to have health issues, but I can't help but feel like I'm being penalized for being a loyal customer every time I see that price hike. Still worth it to have the policy though.”

“Coverages are good, reimbursements take some time, and I wish my cost didn't go up $14.00 per month for one year. Other than that, I'm happy with them. I contacted customer service on the phone once and the agent was very helpful.”

“Very quick claim response. The approval was quick, but still haven't received payment yet, even though it says paid out. I'm sure it's on its way, but it has been 3 days since approved.”
