“I just received a statement (EOB) for my first claim, and was disappointed that certain things were not covered, particularly two medicines that were classified as supplements when they had distinct medicinal value.”

“prompt payment, but getting more expensive . This is a great service but it may soon get to the point that it is not cost effective. Rates have risen by an astronomical amount over the past three years.”

“Great insurance, they pay you quickly if you have all your documents and soap notes uploaded when you place a claim. Otherwise they have to get those notes from the veterans office . And it will delay your refund a week or 2 . Other than that 5 stars for me . Ps. Best thing is to purchase insurance when your dog is a puppy so you don’t have any preexisting issues that won’t be covered . Thank you Shona and Max (K9)”

“The customer service and time frame for payments are great. However, their fee schedule of reimbursement are very low for Ny. Between their fee schedule , and the deductible, you hardly receive any reimbursement. Also, the premiums are also high for what they reimburse you for.”

“It's been interesting to see this company's customer services evolve. Initially, years ago, there was no aspect of Pets Best that was satisfactory to me. Claims were slow to be settled, it was difficult to reach a real person for assistance and the process required to post a claim was complicated. The difference from then needs to be commended.”

“Claims Process was simple and painless, only issue I have (and hey I’m only giving 4 stars) is their processing times are running close to a month for reimbursement. Thankfully I can wait but I imagine many pet owners struggle waiting to be reimbursed for thousands of dollars for a month or more…”

“Your overall process is very good however i believe the coverages for the wellness part should be upgraded since the cost are going up and your coverage for basic services are not following suit. For a full year of Heartguard you only cover (1) 6 month coverage which $30.00 is not even the full cost for 6 months. Thanks.”

“The first few years the coverage was great and rates were reasonable. But the last few the premiums were high and too often the coverage was not very good and almost not worth the cost of premium. But I continued for about 15 years until my dogs passed. However the customer service staff were pleasant and claim process was good. It was good to have when surgery was needed.”

“I never had any problems or big bills with my cats I've always paid for their bills up to $600 I finally got insurance with a $1000 deductible for any major problems one of my cats needed tests and blood work which went over the $1000 and I was very happy with pet's best covering exactly what they said they would my only concern is I'm wondering if they can cancel me if I have other claims even though I've been paying Obviously I don't want any claims because I want my pets to be healthy but I'm hoping that They continue to cover my pets even if they have problems other than that so far my 1st claim I'm very satisfied”
