Very pleased with Pets Best Pet Insurance. The claim did take a while to process but they did notify me that they were working on it. Very good about keeping you informed of the process.

Coverage is ok but not really what I expected for the price. I paid extra for well care and so far it's a bit dissapointing. I'll give it a bit more time but right now I'm not sure it's worth the money.

Paid 80% of first puppy bill quickly as advertised. One smaller bill for medication for Giardia seems to be stalled up. Thinking they will cover it as it came from her breeding facility. Hopefully soon.

First time I've used pet insurance. Good website with information as to different levels of coverages explained fully. Liked the ability to choose different aspects of coverage, $ limits, deductible, % of copay so there are many options and you can pick what's good for you. My cat did have an illness recently. It was easy to submit forms, they contacted the Vet office to secure relevant information that was required to process the claim. It did take a while to receive reimbursement but it was during the holiday season so that may have been a factor. Their communication was excellent during the whole process so I knew what was going on regarding the process stages. They paid what was expected based on the policy I have. Very pleased with the whole process, I gave it 4 stars due to the length of time for reimbursement. I also spoke to someone in their customer service on the phone and she was very helpful with answering all the questions I had.

The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is for the processing time although it has improved lately. The service is great, every time I call the hotline, they are so kind and helpful. Submitting invoices is very easy.

The only reason I gave this company a 4 star rating is because of the time it takes to turn around illness/accident claims. Otherwise the company is great to work with.

Reporting claims is easy on the website. The only suggestion I have is it would be nice if the payment of the claims was faster.

Claim processing takes a little longer than ideal, and the communication could be a bit better for when things are still needed (i.e. additional information/medical records) but overall my experience has been pretty good.

Submitting the claims is very easy thru the app... time for closing the claim is about two weeks. but the reimbursement % has not been 90% of Mickey's bill. tests i do for him once a year (blood test and influenza) are not covered

Pets Best does hold true to its promise in claim policies. My only pieces of constructive feedback are that they don't do a very good job of collecting medical records from vets (50% of the time I've had to call the vet and have them send it over) and the reimbursement time is quite long (over a month).

When I started thinking about getting a new puppy this summer, I knew I would need a good pet insurance policy. It had been over 10 years since the last time I looked into getting pet insurance and with all the issues I had with my previous dog's insurance company, I knew I needed to find a different & better company this time. I was shocked at how many options & companies offering pet insurance there were compared to 10 years ago. I was easily able to compare handfuls of companies and finally decided on PetsBest. I have had to submit a handful of claims already and can say I've mostly been happy so far. However, I have also come across submitting claims thru the app to be a big issue. I can fill out all the information and attach the invoices, but when I go to submit the claim I always get an error preventing me from actually submitting the claim. I then have to redo the entire claim using the website, which then I have no issues submitting my claim. It would be much easier and more convenient if submitting thru the website would actually work properly and I wouldn't be stuck doing double the work. I also have issues with the time claims are finished processing. Every single claim has ended up taking almost a month to finish being reviewed & processed. This constant delay in processing claims has left me with multiple claims in at once. I do receive automatic emails apologizing for the delay in processing claims, but after this being a consistent trend with PetsBest, it does make me a little nervous if my dog ends up having a serious & expensive issue! If it takes several weeks just to process a small basic claim, I can't even imagine the time it would take for a more involved claim. This could leave customers in financial limbo, which could result in the decline of their pet's health or cause a delay in another necessary procedure for their insured pet until they are get reimbursed. When I signed up for this policy, I was expecting to have such issues submitting claims thru the app and then almost a month for the company to process a single claim (this delay does Not include the time it takes PetsBest to pay out the claim once it's processed).

Once you get past the high deductible, you start to see a return. My main complaint is that it takes 2-4 weeks to hear back.
