“Getting refunded can take up to 6 weeks and when you have $600 weekly appointments, it becomes costly. It’s starting to become between choices of eating or paying the vet bill because I’m so far behind on payments from pets best. My credit card interest has raked up now. It was ok at the beginning of the year but over the course of 5 months of back to back weeks of $600 its become too much waiting for back logged refunds. Pets Best has made his healing process extremely financially difficult this time. Our oncology journey last year with our other dog was smooth and very easy. This is just our experience this year with our ACL journey.”

“I am very happy with Pets Best! When we rescued our Zach and Zelda, I researched the best insurance for them. This was the first time we bought pet insurance, so we hoped that we made the right decision. over a year later, Zach had his first seizure of many seizures and he was diagnosed with epilepsy. Pets Best has covered all of his visits, bloodwork and medication associated with this.”

“Extremely disappointed with Pets Best Insurance. I’ve had this insurance for my dog for over four years. Until now, I hadn’t had major issues with claims being denied. But this time, they’re going out of their way to avoid covering a legitimate emergency. We took our dog to the vet due to a bleeding wound on his paw — clearly an urgent issue. The vet treated the wound, administered medication, and gave him an allergy shot since he’s also been dealing with allergies. The primary reason for the visit was the wound, which should be covered under our policy, as it falls under emergencies, cuts, and wounds. Despite this, Pets Best denied the claim, refusing to pay for the visit. I pay for the most expensive policy they offer, expecting reliable coverage when it matters most. What’s the point of paying top dollar for pet insurance if they don’t show up when your pet needs care? This experience has really made me question the value and reliability of this company.”

“I was with another pet insurance company and I had to wait months to get reimbursed for the payment I made to the doctors office. I filed my first claim with PetsBest and I didn't think I would receive payment be it would be applied to my deductible. But, this was a wellness visit and they paid $50 of the $78 bill. The other $28 did not apply to the insurance policy. This all happened in the same week I took my dog to the vet so far I am very pleased with the customer service PetsBest provides.”

“very unhappy about a claim that denied that they paid for weeks eariler for the same procedure. My kitten had to have all her teeth extracted. The paid 90% for extractions and anesthesia. The second procedure was exactly the same and they denied it. She would have died with out the procedure. My vet clinic wrote several letters about the claims but it seems like no one read them.”

“Pets Best Health insurance is a great company. After shopping around for pet insurance, I found their rates to be reasonable. Filing a claim is so simple and they respond in a timely manner. The documents received regarding the payout for your claim is also very detailed and easy to understand. Plus they offer direct deposit, which is so convenient. My puppy was diagnosed with cancer and not having to worry about a complicated claims process has made this difficult situation easier to handle. I have recommended Pets Best to all of my friends.
