“This is my first time using and submitting a claim. I have best wellness included. It was so fast and easy to do. Was paid really quickly directly into my bank account. I was sent an email that the claim was paid. I’m very happy with their customer service.”

“Pets Best is amazing!!! I have four dogs I insured and I wouldn’t be without it! I have had claims on two of my dogs and Pets Best was very prompt with the payment of the claims and well worth the yearly premiums!! It is a peace of mind that every pet owner should have!!”

“I have reviewed Pets Best favorably before and my positive experience still stands. I have insured 3 dogs over a period of the last 10 years, with many significant claims due to cancer treatments, and epilepsy, totaling many thousands of dollars. Other than a delayed reimbursement time at the moment, they have covered all expenses as required by my contract with them, without question. I would recommend them without hesitation.”

“Although sometimes slow on the the payment to the insurance holder.. I’ve always been happy because I do know sooner or later it gets done… but the best experience on 12/3/24 a I spoke with a young girl cause I was looking for a malpractice lawyer seeing your ins companies you might have affiliates… but this girl found out you didn’t have such a thing but she actually googled it for me to help… I to old to remember oh let me google this.. ha. But that’s most important making me feel seen when I am having some of the worse days with loosing by girl… so thank you”

“Signing up was easy, but don't expect to be able to ever make any changes to your policy to increase coverage. From the materials provided, It was unclear what was considered exam fees and I did not sign up for it. When I tried to change that, I was told that I could not add it on and the only way to do so would be to cancel my policy and apply for a new one. At that point, any previous claims would be considered a pre-existing condition, which makes it pretty impractical. At that point, my pet's only claim was 'gastrointestinal infection' without having identified any cause. I was told that any future incidents with similar symptoms, so any instances of gastointestinal infection (vomitting, not eating, bloody stool) would be deemed a preexisting condition. So if I cancel and my pet has vomitting, it's not covered because that condition is preexisting. Had another claim for a dog bite. That one met my deductible, $1000, and then expenses were reimbursed at 90%, as per my policy. I took this to mean that 90% of covered expenses over $1000 would be reimbursed. When I got the explanation of benefits, it turns out that only 90% of my oiut of pocket costs were applied toward my deductible. Rather than spending $1000, I had to spent ~$1112 to meet my deductible (90% of $1112 is ~$1000), and then I was reimbursed at 90%. That's not how deductibles work. They need to update the policy verbiage to clarify that only 90% of costs count toward your deductible (or whatever % coverage your policy has). When my current policy is up I will be switching to an accident only policy. The fact that they have this policy is not readily promoted on their website, but that's what I was after anyway when I signed up.”

“Our sweet Trouser passed from a rapid spreading cancer. We were charged thousands of dollars to get a diagnosis, which left us a huge CC bill. Pets best processed claims in record time which allowed us to pay on our credit card even before we were charged the large interest. Thank you pets best.”
