I've been with PetsBest for about 4 years. At the beginning they used to take care of your claim within a week, now it takes them almost a month.

Rates are skyrocketing. App constantly has technical issues. Zero communication about those issues and lack of responsiveness to emails about issues. Extremely long hold times to call into customer service. Estimated times provided are severely inaccurate. Really downhill overall.

I've been a member of Pets Best for 5 years. The premium for my pet was very reasonable and claims for my pet are always processed within 30 days so those are good things about this insurance. Last year my pet was diagnosed with a terrible illness and at the end of 2025 I was notified that the premium for my pet was going up too (more than $30 additional per month). Claims for her are still being processed within 30 days but that kind of premium price hike-wow! My pet's illness is under control with medications that are not out of this world expensive and her next recheck will be in 6 months. I think Pets Best could know better about different breeds and what could possibly show up in that breed later down the road and gradually increase premiums each year, not raise the premium like they did when a pet becomes ill. They are a good insurance, I will be keeping them, but in this administrative issue they can do better.

I have had Petsbest insurance for a little less than a month. I added on the Wellness package because I have a 4 month old puppy. He recieved his last round of vaccines which the insurance covered about 73% of the cost (Does not include taxes or hazard waste fee). This has been my first claim submitted so I don't have much to judge by, but I will say I have not been able to submit a claim through the app. I tried multiple times and it would give me an error message. I emailed them all the claim information twice because I would not get a response. Eventually the claim was processed 2 about weeks later. The claim status says it's been paid, but I have yet to receive the pay out. Giving 3 stars for now because, communication and trying to submit a claim was not the best for my first experience.

I submitted the claim for my dogs surgery and took about three weeks for me to get my money back, but everything went smooth

Just hope the claim time turnaround improves. To wait 5 to 6 weeks for a simple vet visit claim is a bit much.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the help customer service representatives continues to provide to me for my furbabies for now over 7 years and going (2 cats & 1 dog). The breakdown of explanations that are emailed to me are greatly appreciated and so clearly decribed. Although if I have further questions I truly appreciate the patience and knowledge from the customer service represenatives. Thank you Pets Best Team for supporting my family through unexpected health finances for our furbabies!!

I love Pet’s Best! I have accident and illness coverage and I have had no issues with them, and they are always quick to process my claim as soon as the vet sends over all of the required info. They are great at updating you over email, and I would highly recommend it!

Hello Pet Best, I have cancelled Adonis's insurance your company has not been a good value for us. I should not have to wait until I have paid you $500.00 before we get any monies towards our vet bills.

The jury is still out. My deductible is $1k so several costs were not covered last year, and the max cap on the items that were covered is below the amount charged by both of my dog’s vets for various services. In theory, the insurance will be helpful if, god forbid, something catastrophic happens; however, given all of the exclusions, I’m not certain of that or whether the long-term cost of the insurance will be cost-effective. My dog had umbilical hernia surgery and I received a note saying it just applied toward my deductible. In other words, not covered. More when I see the pattern for a longer period. For now, I’m neutral in my review and wavering on whether to keep it or let it go.

You always wonder if insurance is worth the price until you need it. I’m so glad I purchased it for my dog. Explanation of claims were easy to understand. Claims were processed quickly and in the 4 years that I’ve had insurance, I’ve never had any issues.

Claim was handled in semi timely manner. I could not tell how much went to satisfy my deductible. I think it should be more explicit.
