“Pets Best has been great except for one claim. During Covid I could not get my dogs teeth cleaned within 12 months because I could mot get an appt. We went in at 15 months or so and he needed teeth pulled. Pets denied the claim for this because they said it was longer than 13 months. The Vet wrote a letter actually 2 as did I explaining the situation but the claim was still denied. Other than that Pets Best has been great. Easy to file a claim and quick reimbursement. Sadly, I had to put my sweet dog to sleep yesterday but if I get another dog ever I would use Pets Best”

“The coverage and payments were always on point and I was always happy. Claims can take awhile to get paid out, usually 3-4 weeks, but I believe it’s worth the wait for the excellent coverage”

“We've been moderately satisfied. At first, we had both wellness and emergency coverage for our 4 cats and 1 dog. But it took two years worth of cycles to really conclude that the wellness insurance was not paying off -- their reimbursement for vaccines, etc. is just too low. So we were paying more for insurance than we were getting back. The claim submittal process and portal is easy to use. Customer service is good.”

“Will be a 5 if they cover more pet care if needed. I have to be honest, they reimbursed me $270 out of $500 already which is really good! 5 stars if I don't have to pay $100+/ month for 12 months and still have some coverage!”

“Pets Best has denied things that should have been covered. I am in the medical profession and I am certain the were not preexisting issues as Pets Best stated. It was frustrating to say the least.”

“Pets Best has been a great option to ensure my pet pets get to care they need. Pets Best keeps me well informed about changes such as premium increases and updates about the status of my claims. As far as coverage goes, I’ve been very satisfied. The one recommendation is having a running total of deductible paid on the website/app. Thankful for the coverage.”

“My lovely cat ingested a foreign object that caused a full blockage in her small intestine. The entire experience was scary, and traumatic for the entire family, especially when I was told how much emergency surgery cost to remove it. Thankfully I had purchased accident and illness insurance. The entire process filing a claim was a breeze i uploaded the invoices and less than 2 weeks later the claim was approved and I was reimbursed. Definitely a must have for pets owners!!”

“FOr whatever reason the glitches that were occurring changed the name of my pet and i had to jump through several hoops to have it changed and then to make sure my babys claims were paid. Also the hold time was always more than 30 min and I work during the day and recieve only a 30 min break during the hours where the staff is available. Very inconvenient.”
