“After 5 furbabies this is the first time I have ever thought about pet insurance. As expensive as Vets are getting its nice to know that when it comes to making decisions on our pets health we really only have to worry about her health and not worry so much over the cost of treatment. We have never worried about the cost of to take care of our furbabies but having pet insurance gives us peace of mind.”

“I’ve had Pets Best for many years for several pets. It’s a good company and I’ve been happy but when my pets go past 10 it becomes unaffordable and I usually have to cancel. Secondly they used to reimburse in 10 days then it went to 30-40 days. Just recently it’s back to 10 so u hope they continue it. Otherwise it’s a good company.”

“Pets Best is the "best" pet insurance we could have chosen. Although it takes them 1 to 2 weeks to process my claims, they cover most everything and more than I would expect. The premium I pay is less expensive than most other companies I researched. We just have their regular plan with no add ons. They direct deposit our reimbursements right to our bank and it is very easy to submit claims.”

“They make it hard to get reimbursement. A routine wellness check invoice was submitted 3/14/25 and STILL want additional information? The vet has line items of all charges, routine shots, etc. This should be a simple process. I should have stayed with Nationwide after my employer dropped the plan and employees weren't receiving a discount any longer, i thought petsbest being about the same cost of discounted nationwide would be ok. Petsbest DID finally reimburse the heartworm meds that was invoiced separately.”

“I pay for wellness benefits and after going for my dogs annual physical, I only got reimbursed 1/4 of what I spent! $10-15 reimbursement for $50-$65 vaccines. Disappointed”

“I love PetsBest Insurance, I've been with them about 4 years, and have no complaints. Claims are easy to submit on your computer, only takes a few minutes. Once my claim is complete funds go right into my bank acct. by direct deosit. You do have the option to have a check sent, but direct deposit is so easy, and faster. Although premiums go up each year, I think that is the same with all pet insurance.”

“Having carried this insurance for several years on my dachshund, this is the first year I’ve really had to make use of it, and it’s been a huge help! Claims are easy to file, responses are quickly sent back, and claims are handled in a timely manner. It’s been well worth it!”

“We purchased our pet insurance when Harper was about 8 months old. My main concern was having coverage in the event of a major event. I have submitted claims for some allergy treatments and the claims have always been processed quickly with good explanations. I hope that we never need it for a major event, but am happy that we have it just in case.”
