This policy covers basically nothing. I pay $500 a year for insurance and had $800+ of vet care expenses. I was reimbursed $12.12. Additionally it takes on average 6-8 weeks for them to process a claim. Not worth it. I’m cancelling right away.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I know the policy says up to 40 days, but when PetsBest sends 2 "we're sorry" emails that's too much. When it takes 36 of the 40 days to process a simple claim when you have all the information, then something is messed up. I was faced with a choice to try to save my pet's life and put my finances in disarray because PetBest was uber uber slow with paying a claim and I chose to put my finances on the line. No pet parent ought to be asked to do that when they have insurance. I am cancelling as soon as the latest claim is processed.

I have been very unhappy in the past few months. They are being super with denying everything on the claim. Might be time to look for a new insurance co.

I cancelled my insurance with this company and went with Heathy Paws because of their shady practices and denying claims that they are fully responsible of paying under the insurance contract I signed up for. I highly suggest finding another company that will not steal your hard earned money or take tons of your valuable time with the back and forth to receive your money.

Wait time for claims to be processed is ridiculous( 42 days). I was going to choose another insurance but their " positive reviews" and high claim approval rate made me choose petsbest...it was the worst decision. ANY symptoms your pet has, even before diagnosis, they will not cover and consider it preexisting. Waste of money. I will cancel my insurance very soon. Also they don't care about you or your animals.

This claim took a very long time, much longer than in the past. Additionally, very little of the claim was covered. Has me re-thinking the value of this insurance from Pet's Best after several consecutive years of consistant coverage.

They take over 42 days to reimburse you and when you call to complain they don't do anything about it.

This company does nothing but waste peoples money by denying claims for no reason. Literally the email states “denied due to lack of wellness”. What the hell does that even mean. My dog is in great health but happened to get a tick bite and needed medicine which you denied majority of the claim from the visit. After spending thousands I get a measly $59 in return. What a joke. Pets best is a joke, you guys wanted to raise rates double each quarter from what I had last policy. It’s a scam.

Fighting for my money since September! Difficult to use system! 5 phone calls still unresolved !! On hold waiting to cancel need to report to Washington state insurance commissioner

I am not happy with your coverage or how long it takes to get a claim processed. I am going to look at Turpanion and some other companies who will cover better.

I just made my first claim for a wellness visit with boosters after two years of premiums. They covered less than half of the cost of the visit! Very disappointed with the actual coverage and canceled immediately.

Pet Best’s insurance is a sham!!! This company wouldn’t even pay for dog to be neutered. Who does that? Seems like the goal is to pay as less as possible. I am dropping this insurance as soon as they pay my for less than 15% of my puppy to be neutered. SAD!!!!

I'm dissatisfied with the health plan. It is too expensive for the coverage they offer. Our dog doesn't get sick very often except that has some digestive issues, but what this plan cover is insignificant. It doesn't look I'm not saving any money and there is no reason to keep the plan.

Claims processing is long! When my claim was first submitted it was “split wrong” according to the agent and was the reason why it was taking so long. My second phone call two weeks later. I’m told nothing has changed. I’m still waiting and this is just a simple wellness claim. I asked to receive a call back yesterday when they found out something. I never received a call. Lacking customer service.
