Crappy insurance company that costs a lot when they barely cover anything.

Secured Pets Best for our 4 mo old GSD puppy. Took him for his first wellness visit and then submitted a claim for reimbursement. Within a couple days I received a detailed explanation of the claim and notice that payment would hit my account shortly. I wish ALL insurance worked this way! Pets Best is absolutely amazing.

I have had Pet's Best for 7 years for my 3 Shelties. They have had multiple health issues, some due to the poor breeding (of which I was unaware). Others were just unfortunate health incidents. Pet's Best has been WONDERFUL. They have promptly paid 80% of the bills and have rarely denied any procedure (I have the 80% option). I would be in debt or have used up some of my IRA to pay their bills. Pet's Best is a blessing for me!

PetsBest routinely rejects my claims because our Vet handwrites the receipts & soap notes, delaying every one of my claims 4+ weeks. Last 2 claims...... I myself....read the medical receipt ...then....I Myself....re-wrote those line entries despite me having ZERO Medical Background. Only 2 line antibiotic & anti-inflamatory medentries required me to Google which identified the meds immediately !! Petsbest claims reveiwers are either untrained or LAZY. Rather than call our Vet OR simply Google meds (ie: for ear infection) they reject my claims every single time. Then....I wait 20-30 mins for a PetsBest ti answer their phone...+ 50% of those CR Reps seem " annoyed" I've inetrrupted their Work at Home Routine. Pathetic.

I am very happy with Pet’s Best pet insurance. My dog has kidney disease and the bills pile up, but Pet’s Best works hard and pays my claims very quickly. I appreciate that so much, so it makes it easy to pay my credit card right away.

Before Pets Best upgrade their system, I would have given them a 3 Now that I've seen how their new system works, I'm very pleased and give them a 5!

I wanted to have a good experience with PetsBest Insurance but so far it's been hard to get a hold of them and submit claims as their website has been down for months so I cannot log in or view my policy documents or submit and view claims outside of mail/email.

The great review is you are timely when I submit the pet vet bills and the the overage. The reimbursement is timely. The yearly increase has been fair. The bad review from me is that your premium for this year is unfair. It has been not that insurance companies have made up to a 1500 percent profit! I would like to know what your profit is? Plus your changing to a better or AI system shouldn’t be my burden. Paying $191/month is fair because my dog has a heart issue. Raising the fee to almost $300/month is wrong. I hope you are and reconsider my premium.

Lucy is my second pet to be insured by Pets Best. She is currently in ongoing treatment for mast cell tumors. Pets Best’s coverage is the only reason I am able to continue with the treatment/surgeries and prolong the life of my otherwise healthy and happy best friend. 5 stars.
