“Having pet insurance saved my pets life and definitely saved me from having to make a terrible decision. “Insurance didn't cover one cent of my fur baby's surgery (bladder stones). I never had pet Insurance before and since my job offered it I thought it would help if anything would happen. Not the case. Now I have canceled and now they say I owe them $101.00. Did not work for me.”

“After much research, I chose Pets Best. I liked that I could chose my deductible and my percentage back etc. the problem I have is that more times than not, it takes a long time to get my money back. My dog is on monthly, expensive medicine and I’m not rich and sometimes I’m not reimbursed before the next months pills and I don’t have the money to lay out. This was especially frustrating when my other dog had cancer- the bills were piling up while I was awaiting reimbursement- luckily, we were finally able to work a direct pay to the vet- that was due to my oncologist going along with this- many vets won’t.”

“I was highly recommended to this pet insurance by close friends of mine. Unfortunately my experience with my first ever claims took more time than expected to resolve. My first claim took about two months to be resolved and it was resolved only after I had to call multiple times and repeat myself about how my puppy is very young and there is absolutely no more medical records the doctors could possibly add or submit. The medical records were added through the app but the insurance kept playing a back and forth with me about not having medical records. After my final call with the insurance, I had to get very up front and firm about how I keep getting asked for the same thing and every time I have to call in and say the same exact thing of how the medical are uploaded and there is no more records for the vet to give. Finally after I had to get firm with the insurance all of a sudden the insurance claims to have gotten the records that have been uploaded for a while and all of a sudden they finally resolve my claims.”

“I have had Pets Best since 2017 and it has paid for itself many times over with one of my dogs having several surgeries throughout the years. Best investment I’ve ever made in my pets. I highly recommend it to everyone.”

“The claim process is very efficient and straightforward to use. I'm impressed with the reasonable amount of time from the initial process to the delivery of claim benefits. The explanation of benefits for reimbursements provides ample and accurate information on which procedures are covered, which are deductible, and whether there is any co-pay. I am fully satisfied with Pets Best Pet Health Insurance.”

“Horrible horrible horrible experience… do not recommend this insurance company… false advertisement for the claim processing time . Paying for 4 years and the first time my dog was sick and I submitted claims did not receive any compensation for more than 25+ days (still waiting) . Scam artists… do not recommend this company…”

“I think our monthly premium is a bit high based on our small dog's young age (5). Our premium has more than doubled since we first got the insurance. I hope the yearly increases do not keep jumping so much each year.”

“I have had Pet's Best for 2 two dogs for about six years. One sadly passed about a year ago. But because of Pet's Best, I was able to do the MRI to find out she had a brain tumor. Without insurance, I'm not sure I would've paid the $5 grand. When she declined, I knew it was time and knew I was making the right decision. Otherwise, I would've always questioned that maybe it was just an infection or something more "curable." My current dog is lots of little lumps and digestive issues, so it's been great to see a specialist to make sure I'm doing all the right things to make his belly comfy. With these claims, Pet's Best has always been amazing. I've never questioned anything they didn't cover. It's easy to just take a photo of the vet invoice, upload it. They usually send an update email. I typically receive any payment within 30 days. They have been amazing! When my dog passed, they were very kind and processed the refund quickly for the amount I was owed, since I pay for the quarter. That was the only time I've had to reach out to someone and they were amazing. Other than that, I can't speak to the customer service, because everything runs so smooth, I don't need to contact them! Of course, the one complaint is the cost. It almost doubled last year for my one dog, but I just put the deductable up a little bit and the coverage down a little bit and got it to less than it was the previous year. And I still feel like I can make decisions that are best for the dog and not based on finances. Vetinary care, just like everything else has got so expensive, so I understand why their prices have gone up, which is why I still rate them 5 stars!”

“No one wants to face an emergency with their pet, especially one that is heartbreaking. This is exactly what we ended up facing, and having insurance gave us every opportunity to try whatever we could to help our furbaby. Pets Best was amazing throughout the entire process. They handled everything professionally and swiftly. Always super friendly and understanding when we had questions and were overwhelmed on what to do. I couldn't recommend them more.”
