“Used to be a great site for pet insurance. Unfortunately, over the years they have started to cover less and less and premiums have more than doubled. If you want to pay way more than most places and not get reimbursed for much, this is a great site for you. Otherwise, get insurance somewhere else!”

“Pets Best is the best insurance for your pets . Our Daisy had been sick the last 2 years or so our vet bills were in the thousands . She had cushions disease and alot of other sickness going on. Pets Best never failed to pay. Daisy passed away May 22,2025 we tried everything to save her she was a 14 year old toy poodle. Thank you Pets Best for helping us through the years.”

“I decided to get pet insurance for my new puppy. We submitted our first claim and it was processed in 2 business days. Hopefully we only need to use it for routine care but better safe than sorry.”

“Pets Best covers the bare minimum for my pet. I pay for the Wellness package and the Accident/Injury plan. I have a reasonable deductible, but like any scammy insurance company, Pets Best finds reasons to deny certain claims, such as 3 year dose rabies vaccine because their plan only covers a small portion of a 1 year dose rabies vaccine. I would not recommend Pets Best to friends or family, and I am considering shopping around for a more modern pet insurance that will meet the needs of our family.”

“Submitting a claim is a real pain. You have to be in the Vetrinary health profession to submit, as the definition of the illness/injury is very difficult to select, as it is not on the receipt.”

“For what I pay monthly versus what gets reimbursed, I'm finding it's really not worth it. I pay almost $140/month for a dog with no health issues, but my premium has doubled because he's 9 years old. His yearly vet exam was $500, but the insurance is only reimbursing $155. It may be worth the money if your pup is accident prone, but it's proven to be a collosal waste of money for our family.”

“My only complaint with Pets Best is reimbursement turnaround times have definitely increased. I can understand needing to review past medical history but not understanding such a delay even after medical history is provided/received.”
