“HORRIBLE! I do NOT recommend. This company doubles premium rates annually. First year $40/month. Second year $80/month. Third year $160/month. Fourth year $230/month! They take too long to process claims and reimburse you. The claims process is arduous with the APP and website oftentimes not functional. Today, I spent an hour preparing a document for a claim - only one invoice per claim - so for medication, I have to consolidate monthly invoices into one document. When I hit the SUBMIT button, I got a message saying: “This request is blocked”. Attempted again and received same message. When I called customer service to see why and figure out how to submit my claim, I receive a message that customer support is CLOSED on Sundays! I want to cancel my insurance and there is no way to do it on the website. Now, I’ll have to sit on the phone and wait for extended period of time to try and cancel. They waste your time, lock you in and make you work so hard for everything including canceling.”

“Worst experience ever, bordering on outright fraud. From representatives lying to me about waiting periods not being applicable, then getting denied because of a waiting period, to two months processing claims, inability to get records from the vet’s office… even after I waited more than a month to take my dog to the vet again, they denied that claim as well after all but assuring me on the phone that it would finally be approved once the claim was reopened. The worst part? The way they denied the claim seemed to make it clear that any future claims I filed, no matter how far down the road, would be denied also. Complete scam company, they even told me it wasn’t worth filing a complaint because nothing would be done. I’m out about $2,000 in vet bills but I hope my review saves at least one person from wasting their time and money with this awful company.”

“We have been very happy with Pet's Best Insurance in the two plus years we have been with them. They are prompt with our claims and the few times there was a delay, we were notified of the reason why and as soon as they had all the information the claim was settled. The staff is polite and conscientious and very helpful if we have any questions about our EOB. I highly recommend them. The policy itself is very comprehensive.”

“I find the reimbursements to be timely. I’m not a fan of the website continually stating that the server is down and to try again later or the service is temporarily unavailable. This happens quite often which delays me inputting my claim.”

“It was easy to file a claim online and upload the related documents. Then I was informed all along the way that it was received, they were working on it, the deductible, and that a check was sent. Beautiful!”

“This is the first time I have had to use my dog's insurance and I am learning all the loop holes of submitting a claim, what's covered and what'w not. as well as what information is needed from the vet. It's a process, but so far so good.”

“With Pet's Best, I never have to think twice about providing gold standard care to my dogs. Pet insurance is the best safety net and makes hard decisions easier. “It was a 5 before this last claim that took almost 30 days to be processed. You need to do better! Hire more people if needed but all claims should have a no more than 10 day turnaround!”

“Just recently insured my rescue dog. Everything I have submitted has been handled promptly The explanation of benefits is very clear on claims submitted. Everything can be done on line quickly. Very satisfied with plan.”

“I am very happy with Pets Best and would highly recommend them. My Rusty has had a LOT of health issues this past 2 years including liver cancer. Pets Best gas paid all of the claims in a reasonable time frame. The surgery for liver cancer was very expensive. I was so thankful to be able to make medical decisions based on what was best for Rusty and not what I could afford. I opted for unlimited coverage with an annual $1000 deduction and 90% reimbursement. I wanted only catastrophic coverage because I can afford all his normal veterinary care. Rusty’s cancer was discovered about 5 months after I enrolled him in Pets Best. I was worried that the company might give me problems since I had just passed the grace period. Absolutely no issues whatsoever and my reimbursement was exactly what was promised. Highly recommend!!!!”
