“All good, until you submit an incident report. It takes 3 weeks to get reimbursed. You could do it better? There are companies that reimburse you in 2 days.”

“I love Pets Best and I am grateful for them and their support. I only wish the Pets Best was quicker on the reimbursements. I pay every month on time and the delay in reimbursement is unlike any other company. Otherwise, you guys are worth every penny!”

“I have nothing but absolute positive things to say about Pet's Best. Our cat had UTI recently and had to take her to two vets (emergency and our regular primary care.) Pet's Best took care of the expenses according to the policy to the letter. Our previous cat died from a sudden onset of lymphoma, and at that time, too, Pet's Best allowed us to consider several options. Without it, our options could have been very limited. Its claims process is very easy. I wholeheartedly recommend Pet's Best to anybody, and in fact we have done so for a couple of people who were thinking about pet insurance.”

“After adopting a dog with a history of heartworms, it made sense to look into pet insurance to help pay for his health care. After comparing a few options, Pets Best was a solid choice. Premiums are competitive, and various coverage options let me choose appropriate coverage I could afford. The app is really easy to use. I submitted my claim and was notified of reimbursement within a few days. (I chose the direct deposit option to go directly to my Care Credit account, very helpful.) Pets Best will help me give my dog the best life he deserves.”

“I signed up last year and Pets Best has absolutely been the best! Documents are submitted online in pdf format or via photos which make the process so simple and quick. Hats off to Pets Best!”

“Covered less than $300 on $1,600 surgery (with $1,000) deductible. Not worth the premium expense for this little coverage. Have policies on other dogs as well which we will likely cancel. Claim process is very slow too.”

“While I’m glad I have pet insurance… Claims take incredibly long to process compared to other competitors, such as embrace. Not to mention the astronomical price increases yearly. Started out paying $56 4 years ago and am now paying $120. I pay more in pet insurance for one dog than my own PPO health insurance.”

“I’ve loved having my Lab covered by Pets Best insurance for several years. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to cancel in May, as the premium increase of close to $100 has priced me out of keeping her covered. I’ve decided to start a “Pearl Fund” of $200 monthly, to cover any major medical for her.”

“Not at all as marketed. I had an illness and injury policy for my dog. He suddenly developed hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and diarrhea, requiring emergency veterinary intervention. It turned out to be salmonella contamination. I incurred $1181 in vet bills due to this, and Pets Best covered $34. Yep, $34. Over two years, I had paid about $900 in premiums, a total waste of money. I will set up my own fund to cover emergency expenses in the future. I'm so disappointed I was suckered in by this.”

“Usually the claims are promptly and accurately reviewed for payment, but I am finding more often I need to research claims that are either denied or put in the wrong category.”

“I'm a digital health executive with vast knowledge relating to human health, payers, providers, etc, the point being that I have more germane knowledge than most and am more critical because of that knoweledge. Given that context, I believe PetsBest is doing a great job. Claims processing tends to be around 10 days, so they are under promissing and over delivering on thier 30 day promise. Their telehealth service was very useful and the economics of the insurance makes a lot of sense.”
