Claims take forever to process and are very untimely. Coverage is minimal at best for outrageous pricing.

I have submitted several claims for illness and wellness visits. The review the first time was very quick, only a couple days. The other took a bit longer but I received an email apologizing for the delay. I love the communication and the quick payment for claims and the clear explanation of benefits. The bill for our dog dental work was close to $1100. I submitted multiple times the required documents , as well as the vet. Remboursement $80. We expected a minimum of $200 after the deductible. Extremely disappointed.

Horrible company with lying employees. They make it so difficult and lie about not receiving documents in hopes you just forget about the claim altogether. They are the slowest at processing claims and takes months to get paid. Customer service are beyond rude. Trash of a company.

Why all of a sudden I have a deductible I don't remember seeing the deductible before why is there a deductible? Is the animal insurance company regulated by the federal government or even the state government? I shall find out about this I have an appointment with Congressman, on the situation that you guys are not regulated at all, and should be.

I have generally been happy with reimbursements, but the length of time between submitting and being paid is very long sometimes. Also, I'm often told that I have hit my limit for reimbursement right at the beginning of the year. How can I hit my limit when my plan year has just started?

Found contradictory info on web site.For example in one place it was stated that a vet prescribed food would be covered by the plan but I was told by a representative that this wasn't so. I have submitted hundreds of dollars of vet charges but have only recieved 20 dollars in reimbursement. Will probably change to another company.

Honestly, not sure if I would do this again. We have the wellness plan and the injury/illness plan. And I definitely don’t feel like the wellness plan was worth the money. Only covers a certain amount for vaccines, etc. and I don’t feel like I’ve even came close to covering even half of what we had to do with our dog. I’m interested to see how much it will cover up the spay. I will say it’s easy to submit on the app so that is nice and haven’t had to use it for the illness/accident yet so I can’t comment on that.

Sometimes I have to supply so much paperwork from the vet for you to determine coverage. You did not cover periodontal disease that my young dog started even though she had super teeth according to all vet check ups and I did the cleaning as precautionary because the last vet said she could have it on the insides of her teeth where I can’t reach with a toothbrush so I had them clean her teeth and they found some minor periodontal disease. It should have been covered because she was going under anesthesia for limping to check her hips and knees. All was due to injury. So sometimes I get frustrated and ask what am I paying for then! Sometimes you do a good job and pay rather quickly but lately it takes much longer to process claims and the app never works so I have to uninstall and reinstall it every time. Needs improvement.

Very nice to have when something happens. My only problem is one dog is $230 at six years old and the other one is 92 then 50s apiece for my cats don’t understand why the one is $230 other than that, I’m happy with the service.
