“I have been very pleased with Pets Best action on reimbursement. My only complaint is that sometimes there are time delays which are a bit frustrating.”

“Disappointing to pay $50 a month, almost double my deductible during one emergency visit and only receive a reimbursement of $30. I’d be better off putting that monthly premium in a savings account.”

“Purchasing pet insurance for my dog when she was young was the best thing I’ve ever done. She is now eight years old and has had a number of medical issues in the past year. Pet’s Best is typically very quick with reimbursements and we have definitely gotten our moneys worth, even with the increase in premiums that went into effect on July 1. They even reimbursed for a couple things I did not expect would be covered. Highly recommend!”

“I waited over 30 days to be reimbursed for medications my dog takes every month. I was told they were waiting for vet records, which has been on file for months. This same message happens every month and delays reimbursement.”

“I can no longer login my account. The message is I'm logging in from a new device, I am not. A link is sent to verify that expires in 10 minutes, I click on it immediately and the message is the link is invalid or expired. Thanks for taking away account access. Need to view claims. One approved and one denied. So far, not a happy customer.”

“I just renewed my policy with PetsBest for my 11 year old Maltese. My claims have been processed quickly and I'm very pleased the service. Also kind and friendly on the phone. Overall a great experience. Thank you.”

“My lab needed surgery for an obstruction for swallowing a rock and was initially treated at an emergency vet prior to the surgery the morning after. Submitted all documentation online and was reimbursed in about 3 wks. Very smooth process as we did everything online”

“I love knowing I'm covered. The only downside is that it takes a while to get reimbursed. From the time my claim was accepted to the time I received funds is often a couple weeks of waiting.”

“It takes absolutely forever for basic claims to be processed. I always submit necessary documents up front, and they are always for standard ear infection appointments. I have never submitted a claim without receiving a “sorry for the delay” email, and I’m still waiting for them to process claims for over a month ago.”

“I’m not totally satisfied with Pets Best insurance. They are very slow to process claims and they still owe me money from an old claim that I had to have corrected and re-submitted. It’s been months since!”

“I have had Pet's Best insurance for a number of years. This is my 3rd dog with Pet's Best coverage. I have always been very pleased with the company. The last claim I submitted was on 9/6/25 and it was approved on 9/7/25. The payment was in my account within a few days. I highly recommend this company.”

“Never thought that after having insurance for your pet you would still end up paying the full amount for surgery. Makes me not want to even bother having insurance in the first place. I will be cancelling this policy. Hopefully another company is more willing to help out when in need.”
