“Everything straight forward when ordering and received one email today despatched but no tracking given so called customer services where very nice and said they couldn’t see any tracking either and that I would receive an email within 24 hours which I did not. My order did arrive within the time frame but it’s much better if you are being updated”
“The coat is excellent and the assistants were very helpful. The difficulty arose because the store (a concession within a department store) didn't have the required size in stock. The assistant ordered one from the main store and arranged delivery to our house. The delivery arrived (later than originally quoted, but it was early December so not entirely surprising) but the delivery driver didn't ring the doorbell or knock and it was only because I was opening the door for my son to leave that we saw the parcel on the step. When my wife opened the parcel and took the coat from its wrapping it was immediately obvious that it wasn't as ordered. It was the correct coat in the right size and colour but full length, and not the 'Midi' which had been ordered. The documents which came with the parcel included a return label but said that returning the coat in person could only be done to a main store and not to a concession. I telephoned the main store (located in the same town as the concession) the next morning. At first the manager said she didn't think she could help and that I should use the postal returns service. When I explained that the coat was a Christmas present for my wife she said "Well, bring it in and I'll see what I can do". Within 2 hours I was in the store and spoke to the manager who took the coat from the package and immediately recognised that it wasn't the correct length. She agreed to refund the purchase price and checked with the main store to see if there were any Midi-length coats of correct size and colour. Fortunately there were (only 4) so she ordered one for me and I asked for it to be delivered to her store, so that if there was another problem it would immediately be apparent. Although I had to pay a slightly higher price (as the Black Friday weekend had finished) the coat was ordered and paid for and a few days later I was informed that it had been delivered to the store. My wife and I went to collect it the next day. It was the coat as we had original ordered, fitted well, and we thanked the manager for resolving the problem which had not been of her making. What could have been a major disappointment was resolved in a very efficient and friendly manner.”
“I love Phase Eight! Its my go to for most every day and some occasion outfits. I never worry about quality or size. I've only had two disappointments regarding quality in over 15 years. The three piece; Jacket, bandeau top and trouser- My three pieces arrived in two batches and delayed even though i paid for next day dekivery. But it made up for the inconvenience by the quality and elegance.”
“Lovely top. Perfect for smart or casual. Only downside is hand washing and then trying to get it dry without wringing out too hard in case you ruin shape.”
