Turned up, spent 20 mins fiddling about, then told me required qualified electrician to connect electric oven before he could do anything. So then left charging me full price for callout, even though he did nothing and was there for less than half an hour. Arranged for electrician to come straight away but engineer wouldn't wait for even five minutes Called office and they said they're engineer was correct as they don't do duel fuel cookers.

£144.00 per hour, staff that lie,left for over 3 days without heating and hot water, don't use them they are cowboys!!!!!!!

Put this on your fancy website and tell the public the truth. Call made 11am. Details of faulty hot water cylinder supplied. Explained I believe the product to be dangerous and have disconnected the item. We'll be therein 3 hours. Credit card details supplied. Two and a half hours later I phoned again requesting an ETA. Can't do that. Why not? Just can't. Exactly 3 hours after the first call was made I received a call from you. Apology given can't make today. Why not. The engineer is still at an emergency. No other details. Was it an emergency? I doubt it by what followed. Can't you send another engineer? We've only got one. What? One for the size of your company and the fancy website you produce? One in your area. Well why didn't you say that a the time of my initial call followed by taking my credit card details? Well we didn't know he'd be stuck in an emergency. Yes but you knew you only had ONE engineer!!!!!Put me through to someone in management. Mr McCleary answered. Calls repeated to him. Sorry about that. Is that it? Well what else do you want me to say? He actually asked me Well how long do you think a plumber will be stuck in an emergency? I asked to speak to another member of management but was told I'm the only one! His tone was sarcastic and with a couldn't give a damn attitude!!!!. Twenty minutes later a further call received. Do you want to cancel your appointment for tomorrow? I wasn't aware i had made one!!! Well we can visit you tomorrow.Please get off my line I'm trying to contact a professional plumber. All in all a pathetic excuse for a company. The website is littered with lies about same day guaranteed visits. And when complaining is met by a pathetic excuse for management. NEVER WILL I ATTEMPT TO USE TJIS COMPANY AGAIN. EMAIL SENT TO WHICH! MAGA,INE. Unsurprisingly the company isn't listed on checkatrade.com but if and when it does I will quickly repeat my experience.

We had Plumbingforce cancel our appointment twice and despite being were aware of the situation and let us down twice, which was frustrating. They made no effort to arrange for an alternative engineer to visit, which is the least I would expect given the charges and the website stating they deal with emergencies.

APPALLING Service!!!!! Avoid at all cost...... Plumbing Force were advised that the call was an emergency (no heating/no hot water). I was assured that someone would definitely attend the following morning and was also advised that the Plumbingforce engineer would call 30 minutes in advance of arrival. Nobody called - and, unsurprisingly, no one arrived to fix the problem....so still no heating and still no hot water! On calling the company again, was told that the first available slot would be in 3 days time. Emergency Service - ??? DEFINITELY NOT!!!

If I could rate it a 0/5 I would. 3 days taken off work and every time told the engineer was held up on a job and couldnt get to me. Now without a kitchen for Christmas as can't afford to take another day of work. Call staff rude and unhelpful. Worst service I have had.

Have read the reviews here and i,m appaled. You should all write to Watchdog, and your local trading standards, i know there lazy barstewards but keep complaing. Always try to use a credit card because they are able to recover monies from cowboys if you say the workmanship or goods suplied are not of merchantable value. They need a class action on them to stop them trading.

booked a week ago for engineer to connect our gas meter to our mobile home was told between 2 and 6 on tues 13th dec and given price (even took card details).My partner booked day off work and stayed in all day. Was informed late afternoon that engineer running late and wouldnt make it that day and rebooked for next day between 10 and 2. Got phone call that afternoon, same again engineer running late. At 3.30 phoned them to find out what happening as we had no gas and partner now taken 2 days off work, was told they would be there between 2 and 6.My partner waited in then got a call at 5,40 saying couldnt make it yet again running late.We sitting here frozen with no heating and unable to cook.WHAT A COWBOY FIRM STAY WELL CLEAR.

Awful, rude company. Booked an "engineer" to come out to fix the boiler after an initial visit, and no one turned up. The company followed up a full 4 days later, and in the meantime I was left with no hot water. Useless bunch, and an outrageous hourly rate.

I booked an appointment with Plumbing Force in the afternoon and they advised that they would come out the next day between 8am and 12am. At 10.30am the next day they rang to advise they couldn't make the appointment and advised they would come the next day. I cancelled the appointment and sorted the problem out another way. Very disappointing, they totally failed to come up to my expectations and their claimed service.

BOOKED AN ENGINEER FOR THE NEXT MORNING. THEY RANG IN AFTERNOON TO SAY ENGINEER IS LATE AND WOULD HAVE TO COME NEXT DAY. SAME THING HAPPENED NEXT DAY. ARRIVED 3RD DAY IN THE EVENING HAD A LOOK AND SAID WOULD COME BACK TOMORROW EVENING. MISSED THREE DAYS OF WORK WAITING. DID COME BACK THE NEXT EVENING. THIS WAY GOT TO CHARGE 100 FOR FIRST HOUR TWICE. FIXED THE BOILER AND WAS REALLY NICE GUY. THREE DAYS LATER WAS BROKEN. NOT BE USING AGAIN

Ripped off. Quick simple repair to a leak under my sink which took less than half an hour to fix. Was quoted £85 an hour labour plus parts. 'parts' was a short piece of plastic piping that costs approx £3 online or in a DIY shop. I was charged £110 for this piece of pipe. When I complained to the aftersales department with a detailed breakdown of the visit and photos of what the plumber had done, I was told I shouldn't have agreed it. The fact that I'd agreed £85 + parts didn't seem to worry them. Wrote many times, got nowhere. Totally took advantage of me.

Booked an engineer to come out between 2pm and 6pm today and get a call at 4pm telling me engineer is stuck on another job! My wife has booked half a day off and loses half a day's pay for nothing . My advise to other people .. use another more reliable company.

Completely conned by Plumbing Force drainage "expert" who charged £540 for three hours of removing a few wipes from my outside drains (which were then left in a bag on my driveway) told my wife the problem was solved when it was too dark to check outside whilst she looked after out 1 year old. Four days later the drains were backed up worse than before, we called another company and they resolved he problem within an hour! What's more, we are now being completely ignored by the "after sales" who told us we had no guarantee the problem would be fixed even though that's what we were told by the cowboy who came round. Apparently there is no ombudsman for drains? Well there is still trading standards and they will be hearing from us. Avoid this company like the plague. This photo is four days after they "unblocked" our drains.

absolutely shocked at the price Here we charge £120+vat for the first hour and £60.00 + vat per 30mins after + parts if required We can get an engineer out normally within 2-3 hours of your phone call or you can pre-book an appointment for Monday - Saturday If you would like to book please call 01883 868 270

Do not use. Had an engineer around to look at boiler, then cancelled the next day appointment only to still be charged over £300 for the cancelled service. Called customer services and they the rudest and most unhelpful people I have ever encountered. Stay away and do not use.

Don't use - this company is a total rip off. Charge 25 quid for a quote.....then tried to charge 1600 to have a fireplace fitted.....

Booked and told that an engineer would be there between 10 and 12. Then got a call to say it would be in the afternoon, then got a call to say it would now be the next day. I rang to cancel this appointment and was told they do not quarantee a same day appointment but they do not tell you that when you call. You have to pay for this service upfront on a debit or credit card which then goes into a holding account, it then takes five days for this money to go back into your account...so if you don't have much money in the first place how are you supposed to pay another plumber. Prices are also over inflated, the local guy I used in the end was 50% cheaper and he turned up on time. Initially went with these guys because it was urgent and they said someone would be out and the gave me a time slot

Absolutely appalling company and even worse customer service!!! Yet again they have made an appointment with me and then failed to show up. This is the 5th time they have done this in the last two weeks. I'd had enough so I told them to just refund me instead, and guess what? They don't do refunds!!! They insist you have to write them a letter asking for a refund for an incorrect part that they have already charged me for. That's right... Theu charge your credit card before they have even shown up at your property!!! All the signs are there that this company should be avoided. They don't have managers (apparently), they don't allow customers to complain and have no complaints procedure, they don't issue refunds, they don't allow you to return faulty parts they supplied, they don't turn up to appointments they have given you even after you have gone through the hassle of rearranging your whole day to accommodate them. The list is endless!!! Save yourself the hassle from this useless company. They will mess you about and then you have the misfortune of having to deal with the incompetent chav on the end of the phone when you call customer services. Absolutely useless!!!

Absolutely terrible customer service. They promised me they would be here between 1100 and 1500. At 1423 they called to say they they wouldn't be here until 1800. I'd already cancelled another company who could have came at 1500. When I told them that this was unacceptable they cancelled the job and put the phone down. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company.
