“Really disappointed with your customer service. My mother bought me a Christmas present from you in the knowledge that it could be exchanged for something else if it wasn't right, as it clearly stated in your terms and conditions 'If you would like to exchange for something different from our collection, please call Customer Care'. I have tried to do this only to be told by Customer Care that your systems don't allow this. And when I asked if I could have a credit note or gift voucher as most other companies will do in this situation apparently your systems 'can't be manipulated to accommodate these requests'. So a note to customers - if you are thinking of buying something from Poetry as a present, think again as if it is not right you will be stuck in their rigid systems, despite what they say in their own catalogues.”

“The company doesn’t keep the promise of delivering ordered items within the timeframe given on their website. Moreover, they have only emailed me that my items were dispatched (10 days after the order was placed) after two interventions from myself and eventually the PayPal resolution centre contacting them. In my emails, I did ask to cancel the order because I haven’t heard form them, however, they decided to dispatch my order anyway (I assume dealing with the return will be another hurdle to go through). The clothes are quite expensive, so I am a bit perplexed by the lack of customer care...I live in the UK and the company is based in the UK. Delivery shouldn’t take longer than 5 days”

“I bought a new coat. I knew it was coming from the UK so I ordered it using FedEx priority and got it in three days! the coat is beautiful and so is the material. Just make sure you check and see the size chart before choosing anything. frankly, I don't understand why anyone wouldn't do that before picking a size. Such great quality! The styles are so versatile. I'm so excited to wear this once the new semester starts. I'll be back Poetry!”

“The only reason I even bought a second item from them, is that I LOVE the designs, BUT, I had to nag to get any tracking info!i still haven’t gotten any after a week! I also wrote a review about the silk velvet coat I bought, and they turned both reviews down! The only thing I said was “the velvet nap was going in the wrong direction, but the coat was so beautiful!” Also, they do not specify they are sending stuff from the UK! Why? No response from last two emails!”

“I ordered a velvet coat from Poetry, but not realizing this was a UK company, ordered it in my US size. Upon realizing that Poetry is a UK company, I have been obsessing about how difficult it was going to be to return the fashion overseas for being too small. So I was delighted to get my coat - which is knock-down gorgeous! - in my US size and it fits perfectly. Thank you Poetry for such attention to customer details - that someone from the US might not know about the differences in sizing between UK and US. I'll be back, you can count on it.”

“Beware - there is NO customer service with this company. I ordered an item from the website - it did NOT say that it was not in stock. Emailed to request an update - no response. Had to telephone only to be told it would not be in stock until 2 August!! Have now cancelled receiving any more catalogues as I will not be ordering anything from this company again.”

“Free 2 day delivery and free returns. Lovely colours and fabric but sizing is bizarre and very difficult to judge so every item has to be returned or exchanged. I won’t be trying again, too frustrating!”

“I was ready to make my order, first time ordering, and thought I would check reviews before doing so --wow-- I am afraid to order now due to the negative customer service reviews and shipping problems -- you lost a new customer even though I was loving your catalog and looking forward to the clothing”

“Shipping is EXTREMELY slow. Box was damaged. Read the other reviews about customer service and attitude. Fabrics are lovely. The pleated pants I bought are small in the waist and HUGE in the pleats. Not going through returning due to reviews about that. Ordered a short top with buttons at the bottom I really like..”

“I also have struggled with their shipping process. I returned an item it’s nonwhere to be found with the third shipping party. Poetry indeed needs to fix their shipping and return process it’s terribe and I only order what I know I will keep. Supposedly their facility in a Florida starts their return process but who knows exactly what happens after that.”

“Like several others, I'm having delivery issues. My order was stuck in New Jersey for several days (wth?), then made it to York, PA. Now the tracking says "Departed Shipping Partner Facility, York PA, USPS Awaiting Item." It's been that status for 6 days. I live 23 miles south of York. I could've DRIVEN there and back in an hour, but it's just stuck there. They won't tell me who this mysterious "shipping partner" is. Now they want to list my order as "lost in transit." Ridiculous. Poor business management. I had to ASK them to research the package, so now I'm waiting for their response. This cycle seems to happen fairly regularly with US shipments, which is inexcusable. Poetry needs to step up its game on this.”

“In genera, I have been pleased by the quality of their clothing and the fashions are on trend. Although I do find their sizing to be off. Most things run very large. Great to size down :) but until you know that's the standard with them, it's expensive to return items. I have not had issues returning items (always have received the refunds), but the delivery is slow which I chalk up to items having to go through customs on this side of the pond. I have not had to contact customer service so I can't comment on that.”

“I made an order that was suppose to arrive at a hotel in Miami in 5 days. I requested the fasted delivery for $30 and they promised to send it FEDEX in 5 business days which is today. It never arrived at the hotel. I called and the representative stated I was charged $15 for standard shipment (which is a lie) and she provided a USPS tracking number. I looked on line and found out the package is "stuck" in New York with a 3rd party handler and there is no information as to the shipment history or when it will be picked up for further shipment. I was furious. The rep was extremely rude, uncaring, and of no help at all. What a bunch of baloney. I need these clothes this week for professional business. NEVER ORDER FROM POETRY FASHION!!!!”

“Over the top rude and manipulative customer service representative with a tone and an accent. The situation was very simple and the woman was overpowering to the wrong person. The dress was humongous and I wanted to exchange, I sent back almost immediately on the same day with the return label provided USPS. I emailed to make sure, they say FEDEX. Ok. The girl of a woman on the phone is...I don't even want to go detail. No basic human manners with twisted and negative manipulative mentality she has. Just returned for good. I don't want to be reminded of the toxicity.”
