Your staff member that I spoke to was extremely helpful, I placed the order, two small items, immediately via ebay, BUT this small parcel took six days to arrive. This is far too long and really messed up our work. The items are good.

Listed an item for sale, with delivery dates, which they did not have in stock. I was obliged to wait, and so attempted a number of times to cancel the order by email quoting the order number. I received no acknowledgement, and when I finally made contact was told that the item was now available and could be delivered within two days, and was then asked if I would like the order to go ahead. I regard this episode as a dubious trading practice, and will not deal with these people again.

Hi Philip, I am sorry to hear that the service you received was far from ideal. It is quite normal for online traders to list stock that is still held at suppliers locations, especially if it is a heavy item such as the cast iron fireplace that you ordered. This helps us achieve the low sales price that you took advantage of. Sometimes the stock is found to be incorrect and we do our best to deal with these situations as best we can. I cannot see any email correspondence regarding your cancellation request, but if this was missed then I apologise

A lack of service and keeping you up-to-date about your purchase is disgusting when you do email them you get an email back that short sharp and not very helpful

Ordered an item on 21 September. I needed it for the 28 September. I paid for 2 day express delivery And it arrived too late on 28 September. No contact from the company. Disgraceful. Won't be using them again

Ordered a number of items received part of order but after emailing PTD was told other items would follow. Got delivery few days later minus an item queried this to be told it had been delivered??? So again emailed PTD and aaaiting response!

Hi Simon, your order was shipped in 2 separate consignments which may have caused some confusion. Both are showing as signed for and delivered with GPS locations at your premises

paint tin arrived damaged and paint leaked out of tin into cardboard box .the box held the spill ,but it was a mess to clean up, fortunately there was enough left to do the job.. I did send a complaint but received no reply.

I ordered 2 x tubs (Pack of 1250) reisser 3.5mmx 40mm wood screws. I received the wrong order of 1 900 pc 4.0x 50 and 1 tub 5.0 x 50 600 pc screws. I rang 3 times to try and sort out the issue, each time I left a message asking if someone could call me back. No body did. Having emailed to try to resolve the matter , I was informed they only communicate by email. After several emails I am waiting for my correct order to arrive and the collection of the return incorrect delivery. This whole fiasco could have been sorted out with one phone call. I think they need to review there customer service policy

product wasn't with me on date which was set, only received tracking number once I'd got to the delivery day and only when emailed requesting it, wrote an email regarding my purchase and didn't receive a reply just an email with tracking number.

Hi Adam, I'm sorry to hear that your order didn't arrive in the timescales expected. I have looked into the case as it was on a 2-3 day service and was delivered on the 3rd day as far as i can see. I think support may have assumed that the dispatch email with the tracking code in it was enough to answer the question you emailed to us and that a further email was unnecessary

Not a bad experience was just very disappointed in the price of delivery considering I got two items from and paid seperate delivery charges on each item.

Hi Melanie, I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service. Unfortunately we have no way to automatically tie together 2 orders, so they would be dealt with as separate transactions, unless we were informed to combine them before shipment. next time just let us know and we can do so

Hi Malcolm, one of your items was found to be out of stock and we could not get a confirmed restock date, so we refunded you for this item and sent the rest. We did email you, but perhaps it was filtered into spam?

Hi Kevin, I am sorry to hear that your order was delayed. Looking into your case I can see that you ordered at a particularly bad time for the carriers: 'Worst March snow for 30 years brings chaos'. We did ship your order on time, but I'm afraid we can't control the carrier's ability to deliver in extreme weather conditions.

Unfortunately an item we ordered was incorrectly picked so we received the wrong item. The correct item was then sent but this didn't arrive in time and was no longer any use to us

Hi Terry, unfortunately your order was placed over the Christmas and New Year break when we were not open to process the orders as stated on our checkout page at the time. We did ship the order out as soon as we returned on the 2nd and it was delivered to you on the 3rd Jan. I am sorry if this did not meet with your expectations

Hi Neil, Sorry to hear the item was a little slow in getting to you.This was shipped on the standard Royal Mail packet service which is normally 2-3 days but can sometimes take longer so it is described as a 5-7 working day service
