“Ordered 6 Items on line, paid 2 days later chased up twice before response Next day 3 Items delivered No correspondence still i go on line and see 3 Items to be refunded”

“Ordered on a Monday for an item showing in stock and paid for next day delivery, I didnt receive the order the next day and had to chase them daily for updates with constantly being told it will be sent tomorrow .. tomorrow came 7 days later with no appology or refund for the express delivery. It would have propably helped matters if the staff would have been trained to be polite and appologetic.”

“Although we have paid a proforma on 08.07.24 no one is answering me to say when my order will ship, this has now been 4 days and I am none the wiser as to when my goods will ship, I did need them for today. I emailed and left a voicemail.”

“Nails showed as in stock at time of order, yet it took 7 days before they were shipped. I think this is a man in a shed purchasing items to order and reselling. This is my first, and probably only purchase from powertoolsdirect. I can't wait around for over a week for things to arrive. For comparison - Order with TCFixings placed at the same time was shipped next day and arrived one day later.”

“It's a little hard to say anything positive, their emails came in with goodish prices, then, well to be honest it's now 16.42 according to my computer, and, well they've just sent this email asking for me to be kind about them but well, how to say it, the transport could have a flat tyre, the helicopter ran out of fuel, somebodies distant relative passed to a better world than this one or it's just not coming till tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, next life? I know nothing, perhaps that best, better to keep me in the dark hoping that sometime in the near future they might improve my results on my lathe!”

“After 9 days for a 5 to 6 day delivery window I contacted Powertools and by return email I was told my order was being despatched. The order arrived in 2 days. Looking at other reviews this seems to have happened to others”

“Order Tuesday and paid for Thursday delivery which didn't arrive after paying for express delivery. When I called on the Friday to ask for tracking I was told they hadn't even despatched it because they had no stock. This meant we were scrambling around for 1/2 trying to purchase the item locally.”

“The price for the varnish was excellent. The delivery firm fed ex was excellent. However you got my order at 6pm thursday , i spent £9 on express delivery, but it didnt get to the couriers till tuesday!! Thats not express which i paid for and i was expecting it on monday or tuesday at the latest, not half way through wednesday.”

“Order placed for items shown as "in stock". When neither item arrived I made contact and was informed that one item had been delayed so neither had been sent. After numerous emails and constant chasing one half of the order arrived in a split box, still waiting for the second part!”

“Ordered Monday, despatched Tuesday on a 24 hour delivery…..arrived Friday…wait a minute did I say 24 hour delivery?????? Asked where my delivery was and was given details of someone else’s order. Which was at a delivery office over 200miles away. Let down by slow delivery and poor comms, won’t use again.”

“Even though I paid for express delivery it still took the standard time dispite the items being in stock and at the time of payment it stated it would be delivered within 2 working days. Not much point in offerering an express delivery if it cannot be fulfilled.”
