I ordered on a Sunday but it clearly said I would have the item delivered on the Monday which it was not it was delivered on the Tuesday even after paying for the quick delivery.

Hi Jon, I am sorry to hear that the item didn't arrive in time for your needs. Unfortunately the carriers we use do not offer a Sunday collection and we are closed on this day also. Our site should never have displayed a delivery day of Monday as we simply can't achieve this.

Your website had a ticking clock telling me I had 90 minutes to purchase for Friday (next day) delivery. I did that but delivery was not until the following Monday. Your site also headlines free delivery. This was not the case. You cover yourself in the small print, but it is small. Your customer service desk was courteous but only told me to refer to the express carriers. Not helpful.

I paid for express (1-2 day) delivery but it took 2 business days just to despatch the order, no chance of delivering it within that timeframe. In addition, the paint arrived open with limited spillage.

Unfortunately as the order was placed after 12 it would not have been processed until the following day so that is why there was an extra dispatch day involved. Hi Christine, this was a very unusual case as the warehouse did mark the full quantity as shipped which was found not to be the case after we investigated. As soon as the error was identified we did send out the balance on an express service. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you

When I placed the order, the delivery confirmation wasgiven for the 18th Wednesday. I gave it an extra day before collecting it, only to be told if I hadn't got the FM number I couldn't receive it. Please note the FM number didn't actually arrive until 10-16am today Friday the 20th of January. So far I am not impressed with your delivery system. One can only hope it will get better!!!!

Hi Sandra, I am sorry to hear of your poor experience. The FM number you refer to is part of Ebay's Argos collection system which we have no control over I'm afraid.

Email received confirming order was ready for collection. However, on arrival at at trade counter advised that only one of the two items was available for collection, due to "computer problem". Which subsequently meant another trip to the shop to pick up the remaining item. Not impressed with service or their computer system.

We paid for the 1-2 day express delivery, which should have meant delivery on Thursday or Friday, but it was delivered the following Tuesday - 7 days after the order was placed. On top of that, one item was missing from the order - only a small item, worth less than £2, but customer services have refused to send this. So we are not impressed, frankly.

Hi Robin, you are quite correct that this order was dispatched too late. It seems that there was a stocking error and we had to source more stock before your order could be dispatched. You should have been informed of this and I am looking into why this did not happen. I have arranged for the missing item to be sent to you and am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you

Paid for express delivery, they sent package via Royal Mail 2nd Class Refunded difference in postage costs, not really the point I needed parts for a job, arrived after I finished the job Wrote e mail after saying it took 4 days to arrive - no answer!

Hi Alan, I am sorry that the service was poor on this occasion. Mistakes do sometimes happen i'm afraid despite our efforts to continually improve. We would never advise anyone to order online what is required for a crucial project as their are too many factors that could potentially hold up the order

Hi Adrian, sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. I have looked into your case and it would seem that you ordered one very small item that was a liquid and was for shipment to an island. This is often an expensive shipping option, but you would have been presented with the full charges before hitting the submit button.

I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. The item you ordered is listed as a 2 day dispatch item and was shipped out as expected on a 3-5 day shipping service which was delivered on the 5th working day. We do offer the express service at checkout for urgent items which are sent on a next day shipping service.

After placing my order & paying for next day delivery items did not arrive until the fouth day. After making contact with a mamber of staff he told me to return the items & any extra postage costs would be refunded, as yet this has not been the case, very poor

Ordered paint and paid for 'express' delivery on the Thursday so I could paint etc on my weekend off... Never came till the Monday. Sent them an email stating I was unhappy and got zero response. Poor delivery and poor customer service!

I have looked into your case and it appears that there was a 1 day delay in shipping as your order was placed very close to the cutoff time for the day and we were experiencing very high order levels at the time.. Quality and choice of gods pretty good but let down by really poor delivery. Don't be fooled by ordering by 12 and paying extra for next day delivery. Ordered on Monday by 11:30 & paid for next day delivery - it finally arrived Thursday I found out it was only posted Wednesday! To be fair they credited postage (but only difference in next day and standard delivery). Will go to B&Q next time - it's quicker by about 3 days!!

Paid extra for express delivery 1 / 2 days and it took 4. Sent email to complain and it was totally ignored. Disgusting. Had disappointing experience with the courier used by Pwer Tools before regarding late delivery from another supplier. Sorry but won't be using Power Tools again.

Hi Ian, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service provided. I have looked into the case and you ordered from us late on Thurs 21st April. The order was shipped on the following day Fri 22nd April and delivered on the Monday which is the next working day that the carriers work on the standard next day service selected. The order was processed as expected as far as I can see

Placed the order online, at night, and realised I'd forgotten something. Called the company first thing in the morning to add it to it. But unfortunately the gentleman that answered the phone was unable to help. He claimed that it would have been processed by the warehouse and could not be altered. Imagine my surprise when delivery did not then happen for 4 days. Bad attitude & slow, expensive delivery - won't use again.

Hi Elliot, sorry to hear that you were not able to amend your order. I am informed that the instruction given was that we would need to cancel the existing order and create a new order which had the extra items added. This is standard policy as changes to the order when in the processing stage can lead to confusion. Your order was placed at 9.22am on the 20th and shows as delivered on 23rd March at 2.14pm. The service selected was a 3-5 day service
