I ordered some goods on the 5/10/15 and between losing the order in the warehouse somewhere to using a rubbish company in ukmail for delivery, I received my order yesterday, 20/10/15 ! I paid for delivery between 3-5 days.... Not 15 !!

It does appear that there was genuinely a mix-up in the warehouse on this occasion and this was largely responsible for the delay. Hi Colin, I am sorry to hear of the delay with your order. After looking into this I can see that the order took one extra day to ship as it was placed in the evening and would not have been processed until the following day. That being said although we did ship it on time, it seems that there was a delay of 1 extra day with the carrier. I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this delay caused you and have arranged for a refund of the shipping charges as some compensation.

Considering I had to pay a delivery charge, the item took 2 days to come. For something so small, I would expect delivery next day if I am paying the extra!

Hi Tom, I am sorry to hear that the item did not arrive in the timeframe expected. You will see from your order that you did select and pay for the 2-3 day service, so the item was delivered as expected

I paid extra for express delivery but instead of 1 to 2 days, delivery took 5 days.

The company's refusal to allow the courier to leave the delivery in a safe place and insistence on my signature caused considerable inconvenience. We're talking about a small tin of paint here not a valuable power tool. I think a bit of flexibility and discretion is called for. I have not encountered this problem with any other company so I will not be a returning customer.

Hi Michael, I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. I beleive you are refering to the carriers process rather than ours, as we are happy to pass on instructions for the parcel to be left in a safe place if given at the time of the order. Unfortunately once the order has been shipped it is then the customers resposibility to arrange for acceptance of a Safe Place delivery either through their website or over the phone. The courier making the delivery is not able to act on notes that are left on the door unfortunately

Have given this a poor rating, which is not a reflection on the product I have ordered, which is two pairs of small size ladies gardening gloves. I am unable to rate them as they still haven't been delivered. The mail company have an attempted delivery note from 5 days ago. I'm still waiting for the delivery, two email later and they have said the parcel is now delivered , its not. Really disappointed in the service

The product arrived in good time and at a good price The delivery was poor. Box left on full view in front of door. No card to say delivered. Luckily I had warned my neighbour and she took the parcel in.

I only received half of my order and no order conformation email or invoice, so as a customer you don't know what your going to receive. I won't be ordering again and I am sending back what I did receive

Hi Imelda, I am sorry that you were not satisfied with the service. Our system does automatically send out both Order Confirmation and Invoice emails as well as a shipping email with a tracking code when the order is dispatched. It is possible that these emails were filtered into spam by your email client.

was promised delivery within 1 - 2 days. Received goods after 5 days................... Great promise, cost me a complete weekend's work!!!!!! Never again!

Hi Thomas, I am sorry to hear that your delivery did not arrive in time for your needs. The item you ordered was a 2 day delivery item, ordered on the Thursday and as the couriers only operate their normal next day service on working days. Hence the item arrived with you on the Monday as expected. I am sorry if this did not meet with your expectations

Two items ordered, one incorrect ly received, compounded by two different options having the same reference number on their database. Emails sent to the recommended customer service address were ignored and it required a telephone call some days later to get the issue sorted. Whilst their prices are competitive, their customer service was not good and the much promised service aspects on their website were poorly supported. Probably will not use the site again.

Hi Raymond, I have looked into your issue and it does seem that the warehouse did send out the wrong item to you which I apologise for. Your email was received and acted upon, but we had to do a check of the stock in the warehouse before sending out another item, to be sure it would be correct. This did take a little while, but you were then sent the correct item and allowed to keep the incorect item, in case it was of use to you. I ordered AND PAID THE EXTRA for 1-2 day delivery of some decking stain, it arrived FOUR days later. PowerTools Direct never offered to reimburse the differential. Oh no! Goods were fine and exactly what I ordered though.

Slow delivery seeing it had to be paid for. Tin found to have been badly damaged when unpacked, due to insufficient packing. Other suppliers I deal such as toolstation provide free 24hr delivery on orders over £10.

Paid £10 for delivery within 2 days but only part of the delivery arrived in time. It seems it was the fault of the delivery company, but my issue was the complete lack of interest from Power Tools Direct when we phoned twice on the expected delivery day, and no feedback. They did refund the delivery charge "as compensation for my disappointment" but as I didn't get the delivery service that I paid for it was hardly compensation. Would not recommend.

Hi Jane, unfortunately when an item is lost by the carrier we do rely on them identifying where the parcel is before we can update you which on this occasion was the reason for the seemingly delayed response in getting back to you

my items came but 2 sashays were leaking so all the boxes were wet i did telephone and the gentleman on the phone was very nice and helpfull and said the best was to replace the items would be for me to email and take a photo but my computers not working too well so i know i wont be getting a replacement but thats tecknogoly thankyou

Hi Toni, we do unfortunately require prrof that the item was damaged which would normally be either a notification from the carrier that the item was marked as damaged when delivered, or a photograph of the damaged items

After paying extra for 1-2days delivery , and items also showed next day delivery ,did not arrive next day. Browsing website no mention of no delivery on Saturday. Already e mailed company to state my dissatisfaction but to date no reply.

Hi Robert, I am sorry that your order did not arrive in time for your requirements. Unfortunately a Saturday courier delivery service is almost exclusively a premium rate service on the internet and hence we quote working days to distinguish this. I have asked the site team to clarify this in the terms and conditions and have refunded you for the express delivery service

The delivery process was fine and rated good. However the plastic sleeves fixed to the loop ends on both cables were cracked. Have taped them up. Too much hassle to send them back. Find I need a third one but will purchase locally so that I can inspect it before buying.

Goods arrived in 4 days although I paid for 1-2 day delivery. I assume that you do not count the weekend, but it did not say this when I chose that option which would have been helpful. Also 2 of the 4 tins are very damaged. Delivery box was covered in the decking stain I had ordered. As it's the packaging/tins that are damaged its not worth my cost to return. I assume the contents will be ok. Ordering was easy and fast, good prices. Not sure if I will use again though.

Hi Rachel, I am sorry that your order was delivered damaged by the carrier. We could have replaced the items if you had contacted us directly. Unfortunately weekend deliveries are a premium rate service and not included in the delivery timescales I'm afraid

Powertools Direct were slow to ship. We bought two forks. The Roughneck fork is badly made and is falling apart. It should never have been shipped. Disappointing.
