I was disappointed that the postage cost one and a half times the price of the product.

Hi Adrian, sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. I have looked into your case and it would seem that you ordered one very small item that was a liquid and was for shipment to an island. This is often an expensive shipping option, but you would have been presented with the full charges before hitting the submit button.

Ordered with express delivery to arrive on Wednesday but didn't receive it until Thursday 5:15pm

Hi Peter, I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. The machines that the spare you purchases fits are detailed in the description. If your machine is one of these then please contact us directly and we will investigate why the manufacturers information may be incorrect

I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. The item you ordered is listed as a 2 day dispatch item and was shipped out as expected on a 3-5 day shipping service which was delivered on the 5th working day. We do offer the express service at checkout for urgent items which are sent on a next day shipping service.

After placing my order & paying for next day delivery items did not arrive until the fouth day. After making contact with a mamber of staff he told me to return the items & any extra postage costs would be refunded, as yet this has not been the case, very poor

Ordered paint and paid for 'express' delivery on the Thursday so I could paint etc on my weekend off... Never came till the Monday. Sent them an email stating I was unhappy and got zero response. Poor delivery and poor customer service!

Hi Barry, I am sorry to hear that we did not meet the required timescales for you order. I have looked into the case and it seems that the warehouse were running a day behind due to large order volumes which unfortunately delayed your shipment. I can't see any email on our system from you so i am not sure what happened there to be honest, but we have refunded you for the express delivery and I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you

I have looked into your case and it appears that there was a 1 day delay in shipping as your order was placed very close to the cutoff time for the day and we were experiencing very high order levels at the time.. I can see that you were refunded in full for the delivery costs and I can only apologise for the inconvenience this delay caused you

Quality and choice of gods pretty good but let down by really poor delivery. Don't be fooled by ordering by 12 and paying extra for next day delivery. Ordered on Monday by 11:30 & paid for next day delivery - it finally arrived Thursday I found out it was only posted Wednesday! To be fair they credited postage (but only difference in next day and standard delivery). Will go to B&Q next time - it's quicker by about 3 days!!

Paid extra for express delivery 1 / 2 days and it took 4. Sent email to complain and it was totally ignored. Disgusting. Had disappointing experience with the courier used by Pwer Tools before regarding late delivery from another supplier. Sorry but won't be using Power Tools again.

Hi Ian, I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service provided. I have looked into the case and you ordered from us late on Thurs 21st April. The order was shipped on the following day Fri 22nd April and delivered on the Monday which is the next working day that the carriers work on the standard next day service selected. The order was processed as expected as far as I can see

Placed the order online, at night, and realised I'd forgotten something. Called the company first thing in the morning to add it to it. But unfortunately the gentleman that answered the phone was unable to help. He claimed that it would have been processed by the warehouse and could not be altered. Imagine my surprise when delivery did not then happen for 4 days. Bad attitude & slow, expensive delivery - won't use again.

Hi Elliot, sorry to hear that you were not able to amend your order. I am informed that the instruction given was that we would need to cancel the existing order and create a new order which had the extra items added. This is standard policy as changes to the order when in the processing stage can lead to confusion. Your order was placed at 9.22am on the 20th and shows as delivered on 23rd March at 2.14pm. The service selected was a 3-5 day service

Was promised a delivery which didn't arrive on day that was promised, due to the late arrival had to purchase more tools

Hi Andrew, I am sorry to hear that the order didn't arrive with you in time for your needs. I have spoken with the team on this one and it seems that the item ordered was a 2 day delivery item and hence arrived when expected. I am told that to receive the item in 1 day you were instructed to reply to one of your order confirmation emails requesting that we send it directly from the warehouse. Unfortunately we never received such an email so this action was not taken. I am very sorry for any inconvenience this delay may have caused you

I ordered on a Saturday. I paid for express delivery (1 or 2 days supposedly) yet the goods didn't arrive to the following Thursday. I could have bought the same product cheaper elsewhere but purchased from Power Tools Direct as I needed the product sooner. Having paid extra for the product and a extra premium for express delivery I was hoping for a better service. Lesson learned, next time I will buy at the cheaper price from a company with more realistic delivery times!

The product was exactly as required. However, the postage did not happen as advertised. Paying a premium for 1-2 day delivery the time of order I expected it to arrive within 48 hours. It took 31 hours to get the product into the hands of the courier. Then another 3 days to arrive (for the courier Saturday is a working day). Very disappointing and I feel the let out clause of not having the stock at the place of order in terms and conditions hints of being deceptive. If it is to take longer than paid for, tell the customer. If its not at the place of order then make it known.

Hi Peter, I am sorry that you were unhappy with the service, no deception was intended I can assure you. The product you selected is described as a 2 day delivery item and as this was ordered on the Thursday it was delivered on the Monday, which is the second working day after the order was placed, so it was I'm afraid delivered as expected. Saturday deliveries are a premium rate carrier service which we do not offer at checkout on the site.

After a 'phone call to Power Tools Direct paid extra for next day delivery. This didn't happen. Should have arrived on Thursday finally arrived on Monday. A complete waste of money and my time

Hi Keith, I am sorry that you were not happy with the service provided. I have checked the history and it seems that the order was only placed on the Thursday and was after the 12 noon cutoff, so although we may have advised that it should be with you on the Friday, we never guarantee this.

I placed order Saturday am. Paid via PayPal and paid extra for 1St class postage. This guarantees delivery in 1-2working days. Therefore I expected delivery Monday or Tuesday. the free delivery estimate was weds or Thurs. You only dispatched it on tuesday for delivery weds. I was at work that day so had to. Arrange for driver to leave in porch. However this was not simple as you have to print out a form with a barcode for driver. To collect. My printer is broken. I wrote all the details, including barcode number, on a begging letter to driver. Fortunately he left my goods but I was worried that he wouldn't. You should not assume that everyone has access to a printer, particularly as a lot just use their phones these days. Overall a disappointing and stressful experience.

Hi Suzanne, I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service. Unfortunately the warehouse are closed over the weekend so any orders placed over the weekend are not processed until the following Monday. As your item was a 2 day delivery item this means that it takes 1 day to come down to us from the central warehouse and is then shipped on a next day service, in your case on a Tuesday. With regards to the courier leaving the parcel in a safe place, they do have quite strict rules on this I'm afraid that are nothing to do with our requirements. This is because agreeing to the safe place changes the liability should the parcel be lost.

First time ordering, and ordered a £3 product with express delivery. It seems someone at Power Tools Direct knew better than me regarding the timing of my delivery, and it was only sent standard delivery regardless of the fact I had paid for express, meaning it would arrive too late. O then had to spend quite some time persuading them that a refund was in order. I would have to be desperate to try them again.

Hi Tony, I am sorry that the service was unsatisfactory for your order. It seems that the warehouse did make an error and unfortunately send out the goods on the incorrect service. Normally we would need to wait for the goods to be delivered and returned before a credit is issued which was the holdup with the refund. In this case we were able to get the OK to refund you so that you would receive the goods for free.

Hi Becky, I am sorry to hear that. These things do sometimes happen with the carrier when shipping liquids unfortunately. Looking at the history of your order we did send out a replacement free of charge as soon as we were able so we did our best to resolve the situation

Still haven't received item, had a delivery day/time slot but no show and no 'missed you' note either. Have emailed delivery note sender but no reply yet. Am in process of chasing up, so far, not very good at all.

Hi Tim, your order is showing as delivered on the day after the order was placed 'Signed for by FORBES on 29th October 2015'. Please could you contact us directly if this does not help you identify your parcel location.
