“I first was told orders over £75 are free postage, then orders over 20kg are £20 postage somehow I had to pay £29 for express postage, it took almost a week to arrive, very disappointed.”

“each time i have used your company you have taken the order only later said not in stock with a long wait to fulfill, be upfront and say we dont have it instock”

“My experience is frustrating as I ordered a compressor from the website and paid for it, only to discover the next day that the item had been discontinued. On the upside, the refund came through pay pal quickly. I had spent some considerable time researching this item, and despite repeated visits to their website, at no time was it marked as being discontinued.”

“Ordered two spokeshaves, which arrived in a reasonable time, but were poorly packaged, thrown into a padded bag together, with an outer plastic bag. The blade came out of one of them, so could easily have sliced it's way out of the bag during transit. Rattling around together the paintwork was damaged. The spokeshaves themselves weren't particularly good quality, although supposedly Stanley - only one had its model number in the casting, both had peeling off 'Stanley' stickers). They both needed some work on the castings to make them usable. The blades themselves appear genuine and of good quality, engraved Stanley. Certainly overall they are nothing like the quality of the one my son nicked of me.”

“Very competitive prices. After waiting a week I was gradually told that everything I had ordered is out of stock and there is no restock date, so order was eventually cancelled. Prompt refund though.”

“Customer services were excellent, sadly your website fails to be honest when items are not in stock! So I canx the order, I note , a week later it is still showing “in Stock“! Less than honest, I will not be using you again.”

“Shipping is quoted as 3-5 days. That means I should get it within 5 days. Just received dispatch notification on day 5 so tracking shows I won't receive order until after the weekend, 7 working days after the order and 9 days in total. Not good enough compared to other suppliers. Won't be using the site again.”

Hi, there are unfortunately limitations on the free delivery service yes for hazardous and heavy items. The cost of shipping is clearly shown at checkout and we would advise that the total is always checked before hitting the submit button to avoid any surprises.

Hi we do send all communication via email which for a standard order is largely automated. Perhaps the emails were filtered into spam by your email client?

“Due to this outbreak and lock-down. We requested our power tools ordered to be re-directed. I received a reply on the 25th that they will advise, still have not received an update 6 days later!!”

Unfortunately at the time the carriers were struggling to just get goods to the customers so redirect attempts were futile. We did send an email informing you of this.

“Well priced item 1-2 day delivery selected and paid for and took delivery a week later .1-2 day delivery was selected for a reason . So have marked them down”

“I really would of give them a great review , the price was good , delivery was fast but there it ended , they sent a different item that advertised then wouldnt reply to my emails and dont answer the phone, I have since seen part of the item I orederd was out of stock so obviously sent a different one.”

“My order did not get sent until I chased it up when I did enquire where the package was I was told it had not been sent but the lady said she would check and revert by e-mail. The parcel did arrive after this however I was never contacted as promised. The goods were fine when they arrived but the delay was unfortunate”
