I order some decking screws. I PAID for the expedited post but 5 days later they hadn't arrived. I complained but was told that they would be another 2 working days, over a week since ordering. They didn't arrive a little earlier, however, I was forced to purchase screws from elsewhere. The company didn't seem to care, no refund the extra I paid for postage!

I’m sure the product will be fine when it gets here. However, when I placed an order on 6 April, the website showed the item to be in stock but a subsequent email from Power Tools Direct said that the item would not be delivered until 4 May 2021. This is almost a month after the initial projected delivery date. I had work in mind for the new drill and have had to take it elsewhere to be completed. A request to have the delivery charge refunded by way of an apology for late delivery and inconvenience was rejected. Not at all happy

My order was accepted and a delivery date provided, then at the last minute was told the item was no longer available. I had to reorder elsewhere.

Products a good standard - Let down by delivery driver who did not knock on the door or leave a calling card and left the delivery by the roadside.

There was utter silence as soon as I placed my order. No sign of the promised Email confirming the Order, no sign of the goods 2-3 days later. Tried their Website only to find that as everyone was working from home there was no prospect of speaking to anyone directly or on line. All I could do was to send a message and wait. And then, further silence. The goods arrived suddenly a couple of days later very in an oversized box with no packing within the box itself so the items rattled around inside (2x boxes of screws, a container of filler and 2.5 litre paint) so the box arrived almost in pieces and insecure. The paint tin was damaged. Very unimpressive. Won't be using again :(

Advertised they had a product, then notified a few days later its not in stock, possibly put me off using sgsib if they came up in another search.

Hopeless. The tool I ordered was then cancelled, after paying for it, as it was out of stock. So why did it say it was in stock at the time of ordering!??

I first was told orders over £75 are free postage, then orders over 20kg are £20 postage somehow I had to pay £29 for express postage, it took almost a week to arrive, very disappointed.

each time i have used your company you have taken the order only later said not in stock with a long wait to fulfill, be upfront and say we dont have it instock

My experience is frustrating as I ordered a compressor from the website and paid for it, only to discover the next day that the item had been discontinued. On the upside, the refund came through pay pal quickly. I had spent some considerable time researching this item, and despite repeated visits to their website, at no time was it marked as being discontinued.

Ordered two spokeshaves, which arrived in a reasonable time, but were poorly packaged, thrown into a padded bag together, with an outer plastic bag. The blade came out of one of them, so could easily have sliced it's way out of the bag during transit. Rattling around together the paintwork was damaged. The spokeshaves themselves weren't particularly good quality, although supposedly Stanley - only one had its model number in the casting, both had peeling off 'Stanley' stickers). They both needed some work on the castings to make them usable. The blades themselves appear genuine and of good quality, engraved Stanley. Certainly overall they are nothing like the quality of the one my son nicked of me.

Eventually got the order after sending a couple of emails. Then one of the cans of Duck oil had a smashed up top and does not spray.

Very competitive prices. After waiting a week I was gradually told that everything I had ordered is out of stock and there is no restock date, so order was eventually cancelled. Prompt refund though.

The website accepted my order which was cancelled the next day due to the lack of stock and no known restock date even though the website was and still is showing availability

Customer services were excellent, sadly your website fails to be honest when items are not in stock! So I canx the order, I note , a week later it is still showing “in Stock“! Less than honest, I will not be using you again.
