“Order was cancelled twice but no one got in touch with reasons why? Tried ringing but you can only get in touch via email and no one answered any of them”

“Ordered and paid for a Hyundai 52cc Petrol Garden Multi Tool from this company as their website said they were in stock. Also paid extra for delivery by the 2nd August. I received an email from them today (1st August) to say they were out of stock until September. Now waiting for a refund, hopefully it will be done with the same speed as when they took the money from my account for payment. Will not use again.”

“I have now tried to place an order for a Draper 15088 Tri-Cut pull saw. On each occasion, my order has been cancelled due to the item being unavailable despite it being shown as "in stock". I have been on the site three days after my order was cancelled for the second time and it is still showing as being "in stock". Not happy.”

“Items ordered on the Thursday. Following Wednesday, no delivery, let alone an email from Power Tools Direct giving tracking number as indicated in the order confirmation email. Items arrived on the eighth day, still without a tracking number. Good job that I wasn't desperately in need of the items that I ordered, but it did frustrate me that I couldn't actually do the job I wanted to, for several days after I had anticipated receiving them.”

“Seems like they don't keep some/all items in stock despite their website saying so. Ordered an item for next day delivery as I needed it for an urgent job, paid extra and didn't receive till a week later. When arrived could see on packaging the order they had placed to supplier and then outer packaging showed delivery to me. Despite emails they went unanswered and when they did come back to me they tried to blame courier company DHL. No apologies. Would'nt order again from here sorry. How they can possible say they can get an item to you next day and have the cheek to charge extra for next day delivery when they know the item has to be ordered their side and then forwarded so minimum 48 hours seems a little bit dishonest. This might not apply to all items but certainly was my experience.”

“Hurrendous experience. Paid for next day delivery items arrived 8 days later. Asked to cancel order in the third day as you said items hadn’t been dispatched was told I couldn’t. Asked if I could return items. Only at my cost. Asked for refund of my next day delivery fee £24.95. No response. Absolute shambles. Will never use again. Avoid avoid avoid”

“This has been a complete nightmare company to deal with, I paid for express delivery and 6 days later I have still not got it, I have stopped me from working for days as I'm a tradesman, now i,m told its being delivered today and I have to wait around another day as they do not pay for returned postage, they keep a phone number on there web page so it looks like they are contactable by phone when you ring it, it just tells you this line is unmanned and to email them, email them and it's just useless, told them not to post the items as they told me it had not left yet but they posted it anyways and they do not pay for return post, God never again will I use a web page without a working phone number as if something goes wrong it can and has been a complete nightmare, now complaining to my bank to get a chargeback”

“If you want to waste your money on express delivery this is the company to go with,don't despatched items in the time frame they say. No telephone number to call,only emails which take days to answer. Seems they have conned alot of people out of extra money for delivery and don't refund,and they have the cheek to get you to pay for returning it Please don't waste your money with this company. Go with a well established one and you will see the difference and save money”

“I would put 0 stars, but unfortunately this is not possible. I paid for express delivery because I urgently needed the product, but they waited 11 days before sending it. As a result, I paid more when buying the product in the store and also paid twice for delivery because they refused to pay for return delivery. At the same time, during these 11 days I called them and wrote to them to cancel the order, but it turned out to be impossible. Shame. I don't recommend it. PR1000423235”

“Placed an order and paid for a digital torque wrench. Next day get emails stating item was out of stock. Why let me order it then. They have refunded me but now I have to wait a few days for my money to appear back into account. Will purchase elsewhere in future. Would have put no stars if it were possible!!!!”
