NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED. VERY MISLEADING ADVERTSING. THE GOODS WERE IN STOCK AND AVAILABLE.TWO DELIVERY OPTIONS OFFERED. 2-3 DAYS SELECTED AT ADDITIONAL COST. AFTER 3 DAYS NO DELIVERY RECEIVED AND NO NOTIFICATION OF PROBLEMS . ON QUERYING WAS INFORMED THAT DELIVERY TIME QUOTED IS THE TIME AFTER DESPATCH (IN THE SMALL PRINT) NOT FROM PLACING THE ORDER AND PAYING FOR THE GOODS. THE GOODS HAD STILL NOT BEEN DESPATCHED !!!!!!! TOTAL TIME FROM ORDERING TO RECEIVING GOODS WAS 7 DAYS. I DO NOT AGREE WITH "REVIEWS.io Terms and Conditions" AS THERE ARE NONE AVAILABLE TO REVIEW !!!!!!!

03.11.25. paid £17.90. 11.11.25 haven't received the order As such, not Power Tools Direct fault, the delivery company used, Royal Mail (Parcel Force) have a 100% delivery failure rate locally. Still annoying when one has forked out cash, not received the order, nor as of yet, a refund. No clarity as to whether or not I will receive a refund

We ordered 3 tins of wood preserver in light brown. After a considerable delay the delivery arrived, with one tin of light brown and two tins of black! On reporting the issue to Power Tools Direct they requested a photograph!! The colours are written on the tins, so what will a photograph show? Having waited weeks for the delivery how long will it be for replacements, and willl they be the right colour?

after 9 days of not hearing anything regarding an i order i had placed i emailed to ask what was going on to be told the main item i had ordered was out of stock would i like a refund or wait for it to come in, i repiled asking how long it would be to be told another day later they would find out and let me know. i heard nothing else except to be given a refund for the main item not including the delivery charge and a small hand tool i added to my order to make it up got sent to me hence charging me for the delivery, the main item which was the whole point of the order is still showing as in stock on the website. cant believe i had to wait 9 days to find out and only then because i asked.

Unbelievably bad service. Stock items ordered Monday for express delivery. No delivery info sent & after 4 days I phoned to ask what was going on. Several phone calls, voicemail each time. No-one phoned back. I emailed asking for you to phone back, you didnt. Then get email from fedex saying items will be delivered following Monday - too late.

I ordered ‘in stock ‘ items & paid for express delivery as they were needed for a job. After several days I called & got told ‘oh you should receive them tomorrow’, then ‘oh, we haven’t received them yet’. 10 days later, the same excuse. Rude customer service, she talked over me quite forcefully then started yakking to someone else whilst in mid conversation with me. No apology for such bad service. Eventually I got a refund. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend them.

Ordered an item that was slightly more expensive than the £6.95 I paid for express delivery. After 3 days of waiting I still did not receive it. Contacted customer service and was simply told they were having issues with suppliers and apologized and thanked me for my patience!!!! In my opinion the item should not have been advertised or marked out of stock if they did not have it.

Placed order 22/10 chased 24/10 got told waiting stock, asked if they could find out when got told No waiting on feed back no attempt to help, 30/10 just got an email to say they have cancelled my order as cannot fulfil, no courtesy call nothing!

Fairly poor service, order and payment taken taken but took almost three weeks to arrive, Then upon reciept the parts that did arrive were not as pictured ( double flute SDS Plus drill bits, but singlr flute and not very good quality)

Hello I am informing you about my GROSS MISCONDUCT COMPLAINT in regards of TWO my previous orders from Power Tools Direct • Order No 1000562911 placed on 27-08-2025 • Order No 1000567443 placed on 23-09-2025 In both cases you have advertised the goods as IN STOCK and gave the option of express courier delivery within 3 days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Later it turns out that you have taken the order (and the money) and you start play dumb, delaying delivery (as in my first order case) by WEEKS!!!!!!!!!! When I have people working on site and waiting for the ordered goods with EXPRESS delivery. In both my orders, Power Tools Direct STILL HAVE the goods advertised on the selling website as IN STOCK!!!!! Still taking the orders (and money) and still giving the option of courier EXPRESS parcel delivery!!!!!!!!!!!! I have taken the screen shots with date and time to prove my statements and TRUE MISCONDUCT ACCUSATIONS!!!!!!!! Would I recommend the Power Tools Direct as the good and honest seller ? I ordered my lift a week ago and I’m still waiting for it. I’ve asked for help from the service team but just been sent a screen image of the shipping which does not help me in the slightest! Paid 80 pounds for delivery and still yet to receive anything!

They do not keep all items in stock as advertised. Make sure you check. We had to call to find this informaiton out. They still cannot give me a due date into their warehouse, then they will ship on the Premium Express Delivery Service. Not that Express as ive been waiting over a week already. Wont be using this company for any future purchases.

Not a great experience. Placed 2 orders this year. 1st order had to chase for the £7.95 express delivery. Eventually delivered 12 days after ordering. 2nd order again had to chase after 6 days of waiting for any info. Told there were delays with some products (despite being listed as in stock on the website). Had to cancel as they could not give a lead time. Prices are great but of no use if delivery takes ages or the items ordered aren’t actually available.

I paid extra to have an express delivery and I am still waiting after a week. Apparently the delivery company can’t find our house. No one else has any trouble.

Ordered on 11/08/25 — it’s now 19/08/25 and I’m still waiting for my items. What really frustrates me is that everything I ordered was listed as “in stock” at the time. That’s completely misleading and unacceptable. If items aren’t actually available, don’t show them as in stock. Really disappointed with this experience.
