I was needing this slim long reach socket to secure my kitchen tap. Unfortunately I could have saved myself £7.12 if I had looked on another site first. I puchased the same spec socket for £2.99 which was delivered much quicker and with free postage

Placed an order a week ago , half of it turned up , asked when the rest was being sent , just got refund for the unsent items with no explanation ( should have used Amazon )

Ordered the part a week before Christmas and payed for next day delivery as part was indicated as in stock, after emails asking about my parcel it arrived on the 3rd of January.

Very dissatisfied with this company, I ordered 5 LED candles for my chandelier all the same so the warm light effect would be even. I paid for fast delivery so I could have them before Christmas. They arrived on time but there were only 4 candles instead of 5 and they were in different boxes clearly short on supplies. Having contacted the company I have been given a refund for the candle that was missing the point is that I would have preferred a cancelled order instead of a refund. I did not get any apology and still have to get another candle.

19/12/23 A few issues that let this company down Firstly I paid for express delivery and it came with palletways on economy. Secondly they claim they can have a parcel out to you in two days when ordering whereas I ordered on the 7th of December and only received the package on the 19th. No apologies for it being late no explanation as why it wasn’t on express delivery. As a business owner myself if something is wrong or we haven’t met up to our customers standards we try our up most with plenty of communication and try to resolve the issue as well as offering an apology. Very poor service with no sign of a refund on the express delivery charge which I didn’t receive and no apology either for the inconvenience.

The delivery was meant to be Friday For a job on Saturday but they didn’t deliver until Monday so it was a waste of time and money

Goods received in packaging which appeared to be 'well travelled' and rather battered. One component part was bent and badly assembled, some looked unfinished, and the main unit had a router height lock which did not work. Currently I am waiting for a collection (sometime today) to return the item for somebody else to discover the same issues and eventually I MAY get a replacement, but apparently only if they agree with my own findings. The item had been opened and repacked previously so the condition of the contents should have been noted and marked as DO NOT SEND OUT, rather than WE'LL SEE IF WE CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. Not really too impressed with Power Tools Direct.

I wish I could leave a good review but unfortunately...... I placed and order, paid for express delivery and waited! Order did not arrive so I chased and recieved an email with a tracking number (for half my order). I chased again and asked to be called.....got another email. Contacted them a third time, again asking for a call.....surprise, surprise, another email. Oops, we don't have your order in stock so we held it back! I lost several days work waiting for materials that they didn't have in stock but still took my order and accepted my payment. I had to compensate a very unhappy customer, who quite rightly thought I'd hopped off to another job (until I showed him my emails), lost time and obviously money but at least PowerTools said sorry so I guess that makes it all better!

Very poor service. Took over a week from placing the order until they decided to dispatch. Ordered on 17th November. After an emailing asking about my order on 23rd, got notice on the 24th November that it was being despatched. I await to see when it will arrive. One of the slowest companies I have ever used to actually send an order out!

Should be Power Tools Indirect, paid extra for delivery of one item, waited in two days and still not received. Contacted via e-mail and received a generic response. Very poor customer service.
