“Took order & payment, then acknowledged order but item not in stock. Refund took ages although probably banks fault”

“Not used the product yet but it looks sturdy, value for money . The delivery of it was some thing else. The parcel was left on a door step at the end of my road, the owner of the house was not made aware of the parcel , no knock on the door.etc. When the owner of the house found the parcel he completed the delivery by bringing the parcel to me.”

“Mis leading description on delivery costs. Site shows free delivery on orders over £75 but its only when you get to payment that delivery is added on heavier items. Not whats shown on the item page as per the picture attached”

“Purchased a jigsaw and used express service 2-3 day delivery tool was not shipped until 7 days after purchase, express service was not refunded had to purchase a cheap jigsaw to finish the job”

“Ordered 2 items ,Stanley fatmax 900 level and a Faithfull 12" roofing square. Alas the square is not labelled Faithfull and looks like a Disappointing Chinese Knock off! I have colleagues who have the real thing and they are of superior quality.”

“Brought duck oil which had hand sprayer in advertised picture, alas no hand sprayer delivered, they say it does not come with the duck oil, so why is the hand sprayer in the advertised picture!!!!”

“I ordered 6 products. One (a jigsaw) wasn't in stock and I was quickly advised / refunded. Another (decking screws) wasn't in stock, delayed the delivery and was eventually refunded. What I received was good but delayed.”

“Positive: Really fast delivery. Good price. Negative: The tool came wrapped in black plastic tape which didn't do anything to protect impact to the doot of the tool handle insice, so it came with a few knocks to the handle. That was a little disappointing as it was a gift. They could at least have put a little bubble-wrap around the wood.”

“Pleased with the rwo products that arrived, prices were the lowest i found for identical items, amazon prices were no where near as good. However, the third product was out of stock yet wasn't shown as that on the site, payment was taken for all three items, with a refund made a week later, also the duration from placing the order to actually receiving it was a little too long...so for the negatives, Only 3 stars.”

“Not Power Tools DirecTV's fault but the paint I ordered had burst on arrival. Can was quite beat up despite the packaging so assuming the courior had dropped it!”

“I have recently purchased a 110 volt table saw , At the time of ordering it , there was supposedly 3 in stock , after a couple of days I hadn't heard anything so I tried to call on phone for more information all to no avail .. I understand that companies are using skeleton staff , but I find it hard to believe that there couldn't have been at home taking calls . So anyway I sent an email to be informed that the product couldn't be shipped because there was none in stock . Which was disappointing because I had needed it the following week ... My frustration is being told that the product was in stock when it wasn't ..”

“Ordered a couple of items which arrived as promised but the packaging on one of items was very poor. A tree lopper which is obviously going to be difficult to package so an additional fee was charged for post and packaging. However the packaging was just some shrink wrap around either end, nothing protecting the middle. No bubble wrap had been used to protect it which meant the handle and been damaged in transit and a small dent in the pole as it rattled around the couriers van. Both only cosmetic which won't affect its operation but just a bit poor, especially when you are charged extra for the long item.”
