“If I could give 0 I would, due to the shocking communication alone!! That said after 22 emails between myself Gosia I finally got my goods collected & refund!! I ordered a pair of Bahco edging shears on an express delivery, they didn’t arrive & that was the start of my quest. When they did arrive they were delivered in what I can call a bin bag which was ripped and the goods all scraped & scratched…. These were part of a birthday present and I got asked a number of times were they useable…. Absolute joke!!! Who on earth would give or more to the point want to receive it that state??? There doesn’t seem to be any respect for the clients which is your biggest mistake or the company you work for!!! I would never recommend this company or use this company ever again…. I would like to add that I did give benefit of doubt because of the current climate, but the whole company need to give their heads a wobble and stop treating their clients with such lack of respect!!!”

“Ordered from these on a 3 to 5 day delivery arrived 10 days later. Phoned company message said we are not answering the phone email and we will get right back. They don't, ignored a number of emails. So no good phoning or emailing them. sent via DHL who are just as bad difficult to email or phone say they have got item and then they say they havn't. I would not use POWER TOOLS Direct even if you could not get what you wanted elsewhere. Only gave one star as you could not give less. This is one company to totally avoid.”

“I have been really disappointed with my order. I ordered two tins of varnish- only one arrived and was dented when it arrived. when I complained about the missing order, another was ordered but with no guarantee that it would be delivered quickly. I have since had an email notifying me of a further delay. Despite me saying I needed the varnish for a time sensitive job, nothing has been done to expedite the order. Very disappointing and still waiting 2 weeks later.”

“Product had no arrived aftr 5 days and when I phoned a message said"we are not taking calls" I e-mailed as was told in the reply "order complete" I replied on the Thursday it had not been delivered and NOT to resend as I was purchasing from another source so please refund me. Saturday I received the product sent on a 24 hour delivery. It arrived 3 hours after the other delivery for the same product. Postage to send back would have meant even if I was refunded I would have lost 30% of the value plus the postage I had already paid which would not have been refunded. All in all there is no way I will use PowerTools direct again.”

“BEWARE, they promise delivery in 3-5 days, your order then fails to turn up, you chase them, they reply when they feel like it, only to tell you some BS story about staff shortages, BEWARE, JOB FINISHED BEFORE FIXING ARRIVED.”

“Ordered on the 3rd July with express 2/3 day delivery. Used this seller due to delivery times. I chased the order on 8 July and received confirmation on the 9th that it had been dispatched and delivery would be the 12th July. The job will be finished before the tool arrives. I received an email advising that the delay was due to staff shortages at the warehouse. They are still promising 2/3 day deliveries. Don’t use if you require your tools for a specific job you have scheduled. I’m not one for reviews or complaining but this has annoyed me.”

“Very poor service. Paid extra for a 3-5 day Express service. 8 days later item got despatched arrived on 9th day. This was only after getting PayPal to step in ! Tried calling, nobody answering phones as all working from home according to voicemail.”

“I ordered a puddle pump number; 1000307947 10 days ago and still have not had my delivery. Not only that but I have been unable to contact anyone. I have since had to buy another puddle pump from Amazon and got it the next day. Disgraceful service from you and you did not have the good manners to email me as to why you have not delivered my pump. I now wish to cancel it from you and will never buy from you again. regards Lord Barnett-Levy”
