Item paid for via PTD website as item showed in stock, day before delivery was told by PTD item not in stock and credit raised. PTD could not say when item would be back in stock so fair play raised the credit quickly. This despite PTD eBay shop at the time was still showing stock . Poor and won’t use PTD again.

By far the worse company I’ve ever dealt with. Was sent the wrong item but they refused to do anything about it. Customer care was some of the poorest I’ve ever witnessed. Management should be ashamed of their employees

Item arrived damaged, sent photos and asked for a replacement and collect the damaged item at the same time so I wouldn't loose money taking time off work, company refused, poor customer care.

My items were on a 3 to 5 day delivery which I received nearly 2 weeks later When I received my goods there were items missing which I was told in no uncertain terms I was a liar Which I am not happy with and will e taking the matter further

We ordered a saw last October 2020 and to date have not received it. Received this rating when i sent an email to find out if or when we will actually receive it. Very annoying that they take your payment in the knowledge that they do not actually have one

I think this is a scamming web site I ordered a part for my compressor and I’ve been waiting for it for the past week and I payed for Special fast deliver as well. I asked for a tracking number and they told me to wait and it’s been 7 days now . 😡🤬!!

Ordered items for a job 2/3 days dilivery now 8 days have as passed and still not arrived.lost job on the back of this don’t take phone calls and don’t answer emails shop elsewhere people absolutel let downs. tracking number they sent don’t exist

I placed an order for a stapler and staples on 19th April. It said the item was in stock and delivery would be 2-3 days. I emailed on 26th April asking what was happening but no reply was forthcoming. The stapler turned up 28th, by this time I had borrowed one as the job I needed it for had to be finished. Poor communication, poor service. I won’t be ordering from Power Tools Direct again.

Item hasn't arrived 9 days after ordering! Despite ordering products that the website says will take 3-5 days to arrive, they haven't arrived 9 days later. They were ordered for a specific job where we had workmen booked and so we ended up purchasing duplicate items. When I contacted Power Tools customer service, to find out where our items were, I received an email stating there were severe delays with their choice of postal courier and I could contact them again if it hadn't arrived in 14 days!! If this information had been on the website at the outset, I would have purchased elsewhere. I am disappointed with the delay in delivery and the response from customer service.

I bought battery charger & starter when I received it it had no plug on it and it was in the wrong box I have sent the item back to the seller and I still haven’t received my full refund + PAP bylaw health and safety regulations all items Domestic and garage electric items should come supplied with a plug by law and in the right box I am not happy I have tried calling them by phone and emails no reply only by emails every time they answer the emails they come up with excuses not happy so I’m going to go to citizens advice bureau I will never use this company ever again.

Dreadful. Ordered a product (paint) that Power Tools advertised as in stock, took the payment and then advised the following day that the product was unavailable!! Dreadful service and I will not use them again.

I ordered a Karcher 5.The power hose was defective,I sent photos and I was informed that it would be replaced.I assembled the machine and destroyed the wrappings.I was the told that the part would not be replaced and to send the whole unit back.I said that the part was available on line.I said that I would return the unit to their Littlehampton base and pick up a replacement.They would not cooperate and wanted it posted.They were difficult,uncooperative and and did not want to offer any help.My advice would be to avoid this company......they are very poor

Great tools, great prices but shocking customer service. I bought a bench grinder which showed up brand new with a wonky wheel. Only option was for me to return it to Clarke to have it assessed and potentially repaired. I asked for a full refund which was refused unless I returned the machine at my own expense. Since then I have diagnosed the fault for them and sent videos demonstrating it. Still no response and no phone number to call. I will never buy from them again.

Tool is all good, Service was shocking. Huge delay in delivery refused to give a refund for the delivery which cost about £7.00. Gave me no help at all
