Really disappointed. Bought Stanley saw horses. Delivery was a week. Delivered damaged. Contacted customer services. They wanted to give me a partial refund but I wanted goods undamaged. They wouldn’t replace or refund until received back, despite sending photos. Gave up. Asked for a refund and a collection. Bought same product elsewhere. Won’t shop here again. Shame, because I spend thousands each year on equipment. I’m a professional carpenter of over 30yrs experience. If I order a product, it’s for a specific task and is time critical. Sorry PT Direct. You need to change your exchange policies.

I ordered a mini Trowel on 19/06/21 and also added a disposable coverall to my order. Quoted delivery time was 3-5 days. When nothing turned up by 28/06/21 I contacted yourselves. I was informed that, due to a stocking error, my trowel was not in stock and as the supplier hadn't indicated a delivery date, the trowel was deleted from my order. To your credit, you did refund £16.91, however, this left the total of goods ordered at £2.82 plus £3.95 shipping costs. I feel very aggrieved that no one from your company contacted me before deleting the trowel from my order and at least gave me the opportunity to cancel the whole order without charge. The timing of this was appalling, by the time your customer services people contacted me back, the Coverall had been shipped on that same day. I asked if I could cancel the order and was told that I cannot cancel an order that was already shipped (very convenient on your part, since no one contacted me in time to cancel the order before shipping the Coverall). I asked for a partial refund of shipping costs and was refused. I have now paid a total of £6.77 for a Coverall that is only worth £2.82 (and finally arrived 11 days after the order date), a very expensive Coverall. Also, dealing with your Customer Services is like dealing with a "Bot" all answers are stock answers and there was no empathy with my situation or ownership of responsibility whatsoever. I will not be returning

I WOULD AVOID IF YOU CAN! I ordered a tool from the website on a Thursday which I needed by the following Wednesday, the reason I chose the company was they stated the order would be with me on the Wednesday. I then chose to pay express delivery do to my best to get it as soon as possible. on the Friday ( 8 days after ordering) I had to chase it up twice to be told it would be sent next day delivery as there was delays in the warehouse. Now another week has passed and no sign of my order and the phone number for the company is not available due to "covid". No attempt has been made for them to keep me updated or to reimburse me for the express delivery that was a absolute joke obviously didn't make a difference to delivery time.

We ordered a Clarke car port, the order was acknowledged, our money taken. A couple of days later we were informed it was out of stock and not available until August! If it is not in stock this should be made clear on the website. We did receive a refund but that is not the point. We won't be using this company again.

I'm disappointed as I have not received one of the items I ordered ten days ago. I've exchanged emails with the sales department, and, although they have responded promptly, there is still no satisfactory resolution in sight, and I'm still waiting for the outstanding item.

Avoid like the plague, ordered an item which apparently was a stock item, payed for express delivery and when the item did not arrive I had to contact PTD to be advised that the item is on back order. Although I have pointed out to them that this item is not infact stocked, they continue to take your money for items they have no control over. Only gave 1 star rating as 0 stars is not an option.

AVOID this company if you want your goods. they have stuff on there website that says its in stock but it isn't. They don't even tell you even after you have ordered it. It's not until you start questioning them on why your order hasn't turned up and even then they don't tell you,they say they will contact warehouse and get intouch. But because there communication is so bad even that takes a day or two. Very poorly ran so take my advice AVOID. Ended up I had to get a refund and even that took days so I couldn't order another from somewhere else as it was a £1200 item and I needed the money back in my account. Trust me just AVOID them.

Item paid for via PTD website as item showed in stock, day before delivery was told by PTD item not in stock and credit raised. PTD could not say when item would be back in stock so fair play raised the credit quickly. This despite PTD eBay shop at the time was still showing stock . Poor and won’t use PTD again.

By far the worse company I’ve ever dealt with. Was sent the wrong item but they refused to do anything about it. Customer care was some of the poorest I’ve ever witnessed. Management should be ashamed of their employees

Item arrived damaged, sent photos and asked for a replacement and collect the damaged item at the same time so I wouldn't loose money taking time off work, company refused, poor customer care.

My items were on a 3 to 5 day delivery which I received nearly 2 weeks later When I received my goods there were items missing which I was told in no uncertain terms I was a liar Which I am not happy with and will e taking the matter further

We ordered a saw last October 2020 and to date have not received it. Received this rating when i sent an email to find out if or when we will actually receive it. Very annoying that they take your payment in the knowledge that they do not actually have one

I think this is a scamming web site I ordered a part for my compressor and I’ve been waiting for it for the past week and I payed for Special fast deliver as well. I asked for a tracking number and they told me to wait and it’s been 7 days now . 😡🤬!!

Ordered items for a job 2/3 days dilivery now 8 days have as passed and still not arrived.lost job on the back of this don’t take phone calls and don’t answer emails shop elsewhere people absolutel let downs. tracking number they sent don’t exist
