“The course was great and my instructor Shefali Sanwal was equally amazing. It was organized extremely well and taught very clearly. The questions were a good challenge, especially the hard math sections, but the explanations that she gave help me understand it thoroughly. The lessons helped me increased my score on the practice tests significantly, and my score is continuing to rise, even past my goal from the beginning. Would recommend this program to others.”

“I started the course with a 1440 and achieved a 1590 by the end! My instructor was Shefali Sanwal; she explained everything in detail, and I felt very comfortable asking her questions. The strategies were a huge help and taught me to think differently about standardized testing, especially how it differs from school tests---an important distinction to recognize to do well on the SAT.”

“Dr.Kevin Parish is hands down one of the most incredible teachers I’ve ever had the privilege of learning from. Thanks to his guidance, my SAT score improved dramatically, and more importantly, I gained a real understanding of the material that used to confuse me. Kevin brings not only a deep knowledge of the SAT but also a contagious energy that makes every class feel like something to look forward to rather than a chore. What sets Kevin apart is his ability to take even the most intimidating concepts—like dense reading passages or tricky grammar rules—and explain them in a way that actually sticks. He doesn’t just lecture; he connects. His enthusiasm is genuine, and he has this awesome ability to make the class laugh one moment and then totally lock in the next. The environment he creates is fun, encouraging, and focused—perfect for learning. One of my favorite parts of class was Kevin’s teaching style: relaxed but structured, funny but always informative. He made sure no student ever felt left behind, constantly checking in and taking time to help anyone who needed it. I especially appreciated how he’d go the extra mile to answer every question thoroughly, never rushing through anything. You can tell he really cares about his students' success. Prep Expert’s curriculum is strong, but Kevin is what made it come alive. The grammar lessons in particular were a game-changer for me. I never realized how many points I was losing on things I didn’t fully understand until Kevin broke them down with clarity—and humor! I still use his tips, not just for the SAT, but in my school writing too. Thank you, Dr. Kevin, for being an amazing tutor. “My instructor was Ethan Moy. He was honestly such a great teacher, and he always made sure he was going at the right pace for everyone in the class. He would make sure no one was confused on a problem, and was always okay explaining even the simplest concepts. He clearly had a great knowledge of the material and was awesome at explaining it. I really liked his teaching style of explaining/giving a short lecture on a topic then letting us do some practice questions on it. Even if everyone in the class got the question right, he still took the time to go over the problem and solve it with all of us just in case any part of it was unclear for any of us. This course was pretty intense, but he was such a great mentor and I was not overwhelmed at all. I honestly really enjoyed my time with him! I am taking my first ACT on September 6th, so I will get back to you guys on my score. I am feeling much more confident now than I was before the course, all thanks to Ethan!”

“Kevin Parrish is truly one of the best tutors I’ve ever had. With his help, my SAT score improved by over 300 points! Kevin isn’t just smart (he has a PhD!!), but he’s also a fantastic teacher who can break down even the toughest problems and make them easy to understand. His unique and hilarious voice, which honestly reminds me of Waymond from Everything Everywhere All at Once, made every class both engaging and entertaining. He’s also totally okay with my classmates cracking jokes mid class, and he just laughs along, which makes the learning environment even more enjoyable. One thing I truly respected about Kevin is his ability to keep the class so exciting yet informative. Every second felt both fun and knowledgable, which from a student’s perspective is really refreshing. He made even the 3 hour classes feel surprisingly short. Each week, I genuinely looked forward to going back to the class! Prep Expert’s lessons and materials were super thorough, but Kevin made sure no one was left behind. My favorite lesson was grammar and I didn’t realize how much I needed it until Kevin taught us about it. I even used some of the tips he taught me in class to write this review! He also made sure to answer each and every question we had, even staying overtime to help us with our difficulties. If you get Kevin as your tutor, consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky; he’s the kind of teacher who makes a real difference and makes learning memorable for everyone. If you’re serious about raising your score and want a tutor who truly cares, Kevin is the best choice.”

“At first I was hesitant to want to sign up with school coming up and the many extra curricular activities I am involved with. I was pleasantly surprised however with how effective the course is as my scores drastically improved. I am going into my next ACT confident and ready. I would also recommend Prep Expert because it offers good test taking strategies for college and high school classes which I have already begun applying. My Prep Expert teacher Ilia Kolmagorov was also so helpful in making sure I not only knew how to find the correct answers to ACT questions, but also how I could move faster through questions. I have already recommended this to many of my friends who have younger siblings who are getting ready to begin testing”

“I had Mr. Miguel Chavira as my instructor. I didn't do too well on my PSAT but I improved by 320 points on one of the practice exams and aim to get a higher score on the SAT. What I really liked about this course was that we had so many resources available to us (textbooks, cheat sheets, vocabulary words, etc.) and opportunities to take as many practice exams as we wanted. The lessons and strategies the instructor went over were super helpful as they served as good review or something new I learned. I also like the way we spent the end of class reviewing homework as the instructor went through each step of a question I didn't understand. Each class session was really organized and we usually ended a bit early to ask any questions we had.”

“Prep Expert has been the best investment I've ever made for the SAT. I took the 6-week Flagship SAT course this summer, and learned a bunch of unique strategies. The credit is not only to the amazing resources provided, but especially to my teacher, Dr. Kevin Parrish. He broke down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations and was always able to make the class interesting. After the course completion, I am left with solid strategies, further honed skills, and a whole lot more confidence than when I started.”

“I recently completed the SAT Prep course with Prep Expert, and my experience was overwhelmingly positive, though not without a few minor drawbacks. My instructor, Kevin Parrish, was absolutely fantastic. He has a way of breaking down even the most confusing SAT concepts into simple, digestible pieces, and he made learning feel interactive and engaging rather than tedious. Before this course, I felt stuck on practice tests, but with Kevin’s guidance, I was getting more than 85% of the practice tests correct consistently, a leap I never thought was possible. One of the biggest pros of the course was Kevin’s teaching style. He doesn’t just tell you what to do; he explains why certain strategies work, which helped me understand the SAT on a deeper level. His lessons on time management and question prioritization were game-changers, and the practice problems and full-length tests closely mirrored the real SAT. The course also encouraged a growth mindset: even when I struggled with certain concepts, Kevin offered constructive feedback and strategies to improve. Another pro was the structure of the course itself. The lessons were organized and thorough, covering everything from tricky math problems to nuanced reading comprehension passages. The actionable tips for essay writing and multiple-choice strategies made studying feel efficient rather than overwhelming. I also appreciated the accountability—having a clear schedule and goals kept me consistent with my practice. That said, there were minor cons. “I had Kevin Parrish as my instructor. He was so passionate about the SAT and that really showed in his tutoring strategy. My confidence has gone up and my score has gone up 200pts from when I first took it in the beginning of the summer. Also he explained everything clearly and explained useful strategies. Lastly we covered practical tips for the SAT unlike some other courses with more niche tips on problems you probably won’t see.”

“Prep expert was a game changer for me, I went from having very weak math and english confidence to having a much better one. My instructor Dr. Parrish was crucial in this improvement. Since Day 1, he was full of energy and was willing to help whenever he could.
