It took almost six months for delivery of Yakima Holdup. During this time I never received any idea of expected delivery date. When item finally arrived it was damaged and in need of a replacement plastic buckle. Not sure of durability of Yakima products if the can't even survive packaging.

Hi Mark, Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the delay - last year was extremely challenging with inventory, with most products out of stock for the large portion of the year. All the manufacturers were struggling to fill their orders and could not provide any clear delivery dates. As for the damage, I'm sorry to hear it got damaged in transit. My order was logged as shipped at the store, but was not sent out. It resulted in a long delay. Unacceptable.

You are correct - this is unacceptable and I would like to offer our sincere apologies. We are extremely proud of our fast turn around time but in your case, we dropped the ball and didn't get the order out to you as fast as we should have. The Rack came quickly but it's yet to be determined if its the correct rack or not. There are virtually no directions as to how to install the first clamps that attach to the roof of the car. I have the flush roof with a rubber strip down each side and it is certainly not intuitive how to install the part of my rack that contacts the roof. You Tube here I come

Order was processed and shipped very quickly. Customer service was excellent. Tyler in Portland was super friendly. My order was shipped from the Pasadena store, and unfortunately they shipped the incorrect key and didn't have the one I needed. They did refund the full amount paid, including the 2dn day air shipping fee. Even though they were not able to fill my order, based on the service received, I would give them another try in the future.
