Disappointing. Ordered the roof rack system based on the Fit Guide. Received a call from a Rack Attack rep saying the rack had been discontinued BUT they still had enough inventory to fill my order but the boxes would be opened. They confirmed they were the correct fit for my car and gave me a discount. Received the rack quickly but they didn’t fit (too long). Found the tech specs for the rack online on my own after measuring car roof rails and confirmed the ordered rack was wrong size. Called the rep I spoke to originally. He investigated and confirmed their fit guide had made a mistake. Sent me a link to submit the issue for follow up. I filled it out the information online immediately (Monday lunchtime). Didn’t get a call back until last Friday - I was driving and couldn’t take the call. Was an email sent as well. Called back four hours later. Was told the rep who called me was “on lunch”. Sent an email response as well. Still waiting for answers. Needed the rack for a family trip after Christmas. Now wondering where we stand. By email they offered me an alternative rack that has a holiday discount. No instructions on what to do with my misfit rack. No further discount for this incredible inconvenience due to Rack Attack’s error. Unfortunate as it felt like the initial service was so good and I was really impressed with their level of care. But I guess they’ve got my money for the discontinued rack so who cares, right?

Ordered an item valued at $350 weeks ago and still have not received that item. Early on in the process I reached out to info @rack attack via email and never got a response. For two days I called the customer service line no less than 20 times before I finally got someone on the phone on the third day. The individual while kind seem to struggle with knowing what to do or how to resolve this issue. Been a very frustrating experience and after two weeks of waiting, I still don’t have my item.

High profile rack creates a lot of wind noise above 45 and increases to creating horrible cab drone and severe vibrations above 55. I do not recommend this rack.

This is my first time purcahsing the product from Rack Attack. They shipped out the product by UPS but the item was damaged in the shipping. I have contacted the Rack Attack and they asked me to directly handle it with UPS. Unfortunately, UPS is a very poor service company. I have worked with them for a few days but still cannot get clear answer how they want to handle the damaged item. I know this is UPS fault but as a client I think it reflects what is the service quality Rack Attack is offering. I

I ask to cancel an order because of the looong backorder delay. No reply. What a suprise. Few weeks later, I receive a notification that the order was about to ship. I tried to email back and call to cancel. No way to reach someone. I received the box damaged. Fortunately, the product inside was not damage. I don't neet it anymore but it seems to complicate to deal with them.

I bought a Yakima EXO swing base from rack attack (Las Vegas.) I was expecting my package to be delivered July 19th as I ordered this $600 rack on July 16th. I did not receive my package until July 27th, no problem (irritating , yes.) My label for tracking was apparently duplicate, whatever that means and never tracked my package.. instead it says that a label was made but my package has not left the warehouse still to this day. To my surprise I eventually received this untraceable, EXPENSIVE, late package.. what was more surprising was the way they sent said package to me. My base that I ordered was completely out of its package tapped with packing tape all around and had a 9x9 piece of the “original” box taped to the top with my shipping information. There were parts of my base out of said packing tape. I placed my package in my front foyer from off my porch and instantly called customer service (Blake) whom seemed appalled. I was told that e-commerce (Justin) would be contacted and I should be compensated for this mishap. E-commerce called Tuesday July 30th to ask me to take this wonderfully heavy package back to ups for them to send me another $600 rack that is hopefully intact with a shipping label that can be tracked… I happily declined this offer and asked for a refund… once again.. I’ve been excuse my language dicked around. And have NOT gotten my money back… I try to be a patient (this is hard) KIND, understanding person… but this customer service is truly unacceptable. The way this package came in, was so terrible that if it was a $10 gift id be furious enough to send back. $600 is not chump change to me and my family.

Hi Savannah, We are sorry about this experience. The package delay and the condition of it's arrival are related to UPS damaging this package and delaying it due to this damage. The refund takes place once we receive the item back,. which it looks like it has landed and a refund will be done today, but it takes 5-10 business days for that refund to arrive in your account. So many people have raved about Rack Attack. With that in mind, I finally made a purchase on something big that we've been wanting and it was quite painful. 1) I placed an order online and made a note to have a custom key and lock to match my existing roof box. Everything was inputted (address and credit card with an online order number). 2) I was emailed from customer service saying it would be an extra fee. Not a problem at all and we confirmed what I wanted. A revised invoice was sent to me. But I had to call in with my credit card number -- that was strange to me since I had already placed the order previously on my original order. I was even suspicious thinking it might have been spam asking for my credit card number. However, after calling, it seemed to be okay and I provided the information over the phone. 3) Days later, then I get another email saying you need my mailing address because my parts were all in. This confused me even more because why wasn't I asked that previously? Or wasn't picked up from my original order. Like I mentioned, both my credit card and mailing address were all entered in my original order. Either way, I responded with my mailing address so it would be shipped to me. 4) When the bike rack finally arrived to me, it was missing the custom keys entirely that started this whole back and forth. Customer service was contacted again and I was assured it would be looked after. 5) Days passed and still no answer, we had to reach out and turns out, it wasn't addressed yet as a result of vacation on whoever was in charge of looking into this. 6) Keys and lock were finally acquired from two separate stores (Ottawa and Calgary) and shipped to us. I just feel like the back and fort, missing information and constant miscommunication with different people was frustrating. I am happy with the product and that has been exactly what I wanted but I was disappointed in how the customer service was handled.

My experience was awful. Your company knowingly sold me the wrong item for the wrong price. I was offered a 10% discount because the box was damaged. However the unit I was sold only retailed for $549 and you tried to sell it to me for $890. I would not recommend Rack Attack to anyone.

What an absolute joke. I paid full price for this item. I ordered it with enough time to have it shipped to me before a trip I’m taking. It was 4 days before I had to reach out to them to see if they had processed it yet as I needed the rack by a specific date. They had not (they blamed UPS) but expressed shipped one out to me after I checked in with them. Great! But imagine my extreme disappointment when the item shows up in a box that is barely holding together, and the rack had already been assembled and used. They had given me no indication whatsoever that they were sending me a used item. I’ve never emailed someone so quickly. I took a bunch of pictures and sent it to them and letting them know I would not be using it until this was addressed. Days later they finally respond letting me know they no longer have this rack in stock but are willing to offer me a 20% retroactive discount or to process a return. At this point it’s too late to return and order a new one in time for my trip so I decide to give it a try. Maybe the person before me tried it and it just didn’t fit what they needed. So it put it on my car and after reading the instructions I notice that it was assembled backwards. Wouldn’t normally be a big deal as I can still put the bike on it, but because of this the locking strap can’t reach the actual lock. And because this other person assembled it (obviously without following instructions), I can’t undue the arms to correct it. This also highlights the fact that Rack Attack OBVIOUSLY DID NOT QUALITY CHECK THIS USED ITEM before sending it me. I will obviously be returning it (hopefully they don’t send it out to one of you!), I will be re-purchasing elsewhere, and never ordering from Rack Attack again.

i contacted rack attack winnipeg about a week ago about a product i am trying to buy and never heard back. I cntacted rack attack ottawa on friday morning with the same question and have yet to hear back despite them being open all weekend. not sure why the lack of response but doesn't seem a good way to conduct business

After seeing online that the DC location had the ROAM cooler I was looking for, I drove to the location and was told that they didn't actually have it and I would need to order it online and later pick up at the store. This was fine so I went home and tried to order which gave me errors because the site said they had it in the store. So.. I called the store and tried to order it through them. Then I was told they made a mistake, and they actually did have a display model I could buy. No problem. I drove back to the store to find out it was used all banged up, covered in coffee, and full price. Is this a store or Facebook marketplace? Completely waisted my day and was told they can get me a new one in 2 weeks. After I called customer service and was told my information would be forwarded to a regional manager which has yet to contact me. 0 stars for customer service.

Only 2 of 3 components have arrived 10 days post order. I will have to purchase the final component from another retailer in order to get it in time for my pending trip. UPS is non-responsive so I don't know if the rails will ever arrive
