This company will happily take your money and its only after they have taken your money you find the experience you paid for has no venues available within a 50mile radius available before the voucher expires. And 4 months on still cant a reponse from them for a refund on their con. BUYER BEWARE - BE PREPARED TO BE IGNORED AND LOSE YOUR MONEY

Total rip off , search site rubbish ,hardly any hotels or dates and then want extra money for hotels. Once you call hotel to make sure legit they say “I’m on another call I’ll call back and then don’t” And that’s the hotels 🤦🏼‍♂️ Xmas gift from my daughter scandalous . Stay away from this company.

I'm sure these are scams I'm sure these are scams, we had a nightmare finding what we wanted then low and behold a couple of weeks before our trip, which incidentally we paid an additional £113 for the place, then closed!!!! Can you get hold of red letter day???? Not a chance, more chance of going to the moon. So voucher lost £113 lost no one gives a sh****

I have a gift voucher to use but when you try to use it on the link you have to use, the event I chose is £30 more than on the normal website. Apparently it is in the terms and conditions. What is the point of a gift voucher if you have to pay more. Offered a refund on the live chat which was then withdrawn as George said he made a mistake. I challenged him on this so he ended the chat. Poor customer service, poor value for money and all in all poor treatment.

Customer service woeful. Nobody to ring, just a bot which is useless. "FAQs" which don't answer your question. If anything goes wrong your money is lost (in my case a helicopter flight that was called off for bad weather).

My gorgeous thoughtful partner bought me a spa with afternoon tea, I have tried to redeem only to be sent other vouchers in bits, now says code not valid. I have got myself in a right state trying to book so as not to upset him by telling him what a rubbish gift, so much so I'll probably book direct and repay to save his feelings and let him.think Iused his gift. Awful company. Am very angry. What should be a pleasure is a nightmare

OK, the idea is great, and we were given vouchers to use, so not all the money involved was ours. However 1. We had to pay to extend the vouchers 2. The website is appalling and tortuous to use - round and round in circles for what should be a simple transaction 3. There's no sign of any help chat, helpdesk or any way to sort things out I'd have to advise that you don't buy vouchers from this service

I think this must be some sort of scam. Paid a lot of money for a spa day voucher and a voucher for afternoon tea. When it came to making the actual booking, had to pay extra to just get the spa day. I asked customer service if I could lodge a complaint and they said NO!!!! I would never use this company again, and I would warn others against using them too.

Terrible customer service. I have a voucher but on the site i'm now being asked to pay an additional £35 to use the voucher. Impossible to talk to anyone. The bot is hopeless.

Don’t use this company. Got given a voucher for cinema and meal for two as a gift. Have spent 7 days trying to get second part of voucher (meal) activated. All they say is voucher was not activated, although I have activated the first part. They expect me to travel over 100 miles to get the retailer to activate it again. The cost will be more than the voucher. Customer service just kept going round in circles, not listening. DO NOT BUY

Awful, bought a gift for a friend a spa day for 2 plus treatments and lunch, hotel wouldn’t accept the voucher even though it was a named location. There’s no customer service at all, no number no instant chat. I send messages on social media that were ignored. Total waste of £155

My son bought me a 2 night european stay voucher for £199. i have been trying to use this for over a year but it is impossible to find any hotels where you do not have to pay a substantial amount extra. I have searched for weekdays in winter months and still can find nothing. Most hotels are actually cheaper to book via Booking than using this voucher and paying the extra! One hotel was an extra 148 pounds to pay but it was only £135 for the same room and days via booking? How can this be when £199 has already been paid for the voucher?

I was given the gift of a track day for my birthday, this was put on hold because of the pandemic but after several months of going back and forward, the track I wanted was no longer open, you had to pay extra to go on the weekend and with limited stock, you were only given the option of paying hundreds of pounds more for the supercars. Deciding it wasn't worth the extra money, I opted for a cooking course, only to be told that the school was no longer accepting Red Letter Day vouchers! I eventually used the voucher for a coffee braista course which was very good (Hence the extra star) but could have easily been booked through their own website. I would avoid Red Letter Days.

I had a £39 voucher to use. Went to spend it in June 2023 and £30 of it had been used by someone else for something in Sheffield (I live in London). Clearly an error on Red Letter Day's side but they made me wait a week for them to investigate and didn't get back to me so I tried again (July 2023) and they they referred me to "Buy a gift" who said I had to flag it as fraud but promised they would compensate me once the case was resolved. This process took a month and predictably the police were not able to do anything about it. Informed the "buy a gift" contact who didn't reply then nor to a weekly chase email. Went back to Red Letter days (Sep 2023) who after an hour of painful messaging essentially said the investigation is closed and its out of their hands. Exceptionally poor customer service for a company who promised to compensate and then went back against their word. Issue could have been resolved if they admitted the error was a security fault on their end and just reinstated the £30 that was taken from me.

Woeful customer service , chat bot useless. No email address no telephone number. Inadequate research of terrible reviews for hotels advertised. Huge add on costs on booking. All in all a shocking experience. Voucher purchased for a celebration very sad that celebration has been a complete waste of £300, my son saved hard to give us a lovely break. Should be investigated for bad practice, I have not been able to communicate with anyone to discuss . It’s a total disgrace. A case for travel ombudsman to deal with.

We booked an experience through red letter days and due to a train strike had to reschedule, we gave 7 days notice only to be tolled you need to give 10 days notice when cancelling a booking despite this not being on the web sight or in the terms and conditions, therefore we received no refund and no chance to rebook so lost £100. The customer service was difficult to navigate, refused to put me into a manager and quite frankly rude

Do use these people, go to another good company with some honour. We booked for the Shard, I happened to go on-line to see how we would get there and found it had been closed 2 months earlier. Red Letter Days didn't tell us. We live in the Midlands so booked a train and hotel had we not found out about the closure we would have travelled all the way to London, both of us are in our 70's with less energy than a 20 year old. I spoke to RLD and am expecting a refund, they told me it would be 14 days and now they tell me a policy change it would take a month.....for a simple bank transfer? I'm doubting the return of my £80 but I won't let them get away with it, they broke a contract
