“Worst customer support ever. They let scammers sell broken items as new and when you contact them to solve the problem. They just answer that you only have 14 days protection. Now it's your responsibility to fix the item by yourself.
And the worst part. I contacted PayPal and they threaten me to ban my account from reverb if I continued requesting buyer protection from PayPal. And they finally ban my IP and data from Reverb.

“I received confirmation of my order, so I didn't think another action would be needed on my behalf. Turned out I had to confirm my phone number bit didn't see that email they sent *after*. Got refunded... for less than what I paid. Order a 2nd time. Seller announces 56$ shipping fee. No problem. Until the carrier asked for 410$ duties fee on top of it. I send it back. Seller keeps the shipping fee AND 15% of the amount of the order. Don't ever do business with Reverb or its sellers.”
“After selling five guitars and buying two on Reverb I have to say that they are very disappointing as an organization.
1. Their fees are very high with cloaked costs like a 4.19% fee for processing a buyer’s credit card. When you add all the costs you might get shocked at how little remains of the sale price.
2. In my case they sat on my funds for well over two weeks, even after the guitar was delivered and my buyer confirmed receipt and gave me five stars. I believe they profit from these delays by using their client’s money to garner interest for themselves.
3. They seem to make up new policies to suit their desire to sit on “pending funds”, and these policies are not clear when one begins the process.

“Absolutely repulsive, I filled in all my information from the beginning with my credit card information as it was disclosed that my earnings would go straight to my bank account. I understood their percentage fee, but then, after the transaction of selling my equipment, there’s always red tape with extra charges and processing fees. When I went to see if my money was deposited in my bank account connected to my credit card, nothing was there. So it took me a while to find out where my earnings were on the reverb settings and they wanted me to go through a third-party PLAID to get paid, so I would have to add in my bank account information again!!!! I was so discouraged that I pretty much deactivated my account! I would not recommend this company for selling any kind of music equipment and I’m glad I took the rest of my listings off!!”
“Reverb STOLE $285 from my account for no reason and refuses to redeposit it! I sold a keyboard to a gentleman but the listed shipping quote was less than the actual cost so at reverb request, I initiated a partial refund in the amount of the shipping cost as the buyer decided to arrange his own shipping. Reverb had not yet released the funds from the sale to me and assured me I would not be charged because they were still in possession of ALL the funds. An hour later they withdrew the shipping refund from my account! I’ve since cancelled the order and gave the gentleman a full refund and they still won’t redeposit the money they stole from my account!! So essentially they profited $285 from a sale that NEVER happened! They are thieves and I would not recommend selling you gear on there! You thought Craigslist was a hassle? Wait till you start selling on Reverb!”

The guitar was not as the description stated at all and I was not able to talk to anyone about the guitar.
I was unable to get a refund and response from them.
Had to get the guitar repaired which was a further expense.

“I purchased a guild Starfire one from Pro audio star on. Reverb said they shipped it with FedEx. FedEx said they tried to deliver, which was a lie. Waited for three days kept telling me it was gonna be here. nothing came contacted Reverb to put in a refund request. They sent me an email saying when I get the item send it back and I would get a refund. How can you send something back you never got. thank God I went through PayPal put in the refund request through PayPal. Still waiting to find out what’s going on. They ship the guitar back to Ohio. Reverb kept telling me to cancel the PayPal thing I wouldn’t do it now they’re trying to send back to Salt Lake City again telling me they tried to deliver again email six minutes later the email read that it’s been delayed again. The sellers and Reverb are nothing but scammers there will be a class action lawsuit filed if anybody wants to join stay away from pro audio star.”
