A fairly easy to understand website that was not too arduous or complicated to negotiate. The online policy documents were easy to download and, if required, to print-off. The savings compared to my previous motor insurance provider, who I had been with for many, many years, were substantial, which was the primary reason for checking what was available on a comparison website. Altogether (so far) very satisfied.

Quick and easy to arrange, following quote from www.gocompare.com, but obtaining on-line confirmation/documents not clear, necessitating a potentially avoidable further phone call.

Just returned to RIAS now they seem to have resolved their illogical car foreign insurance and breakdown cover mismatch. Happy with the online application although when it arrived in written form it included an option called "Total Protection under 10 years"-it took reading through the whole policy to discover this referred to the BREAKDOWN cover. Also it keeps saying "refer to Key Facts for details of cover"-I think this refers to an older version of the pamphlet now called "Your Car Insurance Policy Booklet". So a bit of tidying up would be in order. Hope I don't have to use it in anger but the price was competitive. MAS

Would have been 'very good', but received contradictory advice about how to prove level of no claims bonus. Resolved very promptly once the question was raised.

On my car insurance application online, I stated I had a factory fitted immobilizer, but the paperwork came through with factory fitted alarm and immobilizer. I phoned to correct this at no charge to me, but was told the computer defaulted to the fitted alarm. If RIAS could correct this, it may save time and money. A whole set of corrected paperwork came through in a few days.

Everything was explained clearly by the lady on the phone and all my queries answered. When the documentation arrived it was clear and easy to understand. I was pleasantly surprised by the quotation.
