“They are easy to contact via phone and sort out issues quickly, new car insurance policy arrived by post next day and they were the cheapest on go compare.”

“I found that RIAS were the best quoted car insurance company on my comparison websites.Way below my current insurance company who still failed to compete after giving them two chances.I did reduce some of the cover slightly,which I had no need of anyway,but I feel that overall I received a good deal. I did contact RIAS direct to discuss some cover issues which resulted in a reduction of £3.00 which was appreciated.”

“I was initially pleased to get a good motor insurance policy with a very reputable company at a reasonable price. However, 12 days after accepting proof of my NCD entitlement I was surprised and confused to receive a letter from RIAS claiming that I'd not yet sent it and warning that my policy would be cancelled if I didn't provide it within two weeks. As I didn't want to take the risk of driving uninsured, I felt it necessary to phone the company who advised me to ignore the letter, saying it was probably sent as a result of "a system error". The fact that this suggests there is some disconnect within the car insurance department doesn't bode well if I am unlucky enough to have to make a claim within the next 12 months. Additionally, RIAS is also still writing to the previous owner of my home almost exactly two years after they moved out which underlines that there is something wrong with the company's administrative systems. It is a pity that as a result my first experience of RIAS is not an entirely positive one.”

“The web site was easy to follow and acknowledgments from RIAS were very quick. I sent my proof of NCB and this was acknowledge within 2 days and I am able to look at my documents on line following easy directions to allow me to access them. Highly recommended. Most importantly the 'Price was Right'. M Garnett.”
