My items arrived damaged and looked very poor quality. After what felt like a seemless returns policy with arranging with their courier to collect he damaged items for a refund, the courier didn’t turn up on the day arranged and I am still waiting for collection! I’m chasing this everyday and seem to get same response, that the item is due for collection by the courier. I’ve emailed everyday, if not twice a day and my stress levels are very high! Ive asked for a manager to address my complaint and I still haven’t had a satisfactory response to even suggest that it has been escalated to a manager! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone!

prices you are charging in the last 2 weeks I have returned a sideboard and TV corner unit both damaged and poor quality I could have done without all this stress at my age You need up your game People want what they pay for Still waiting for my refund

Ordering was easy, we live locally and thought to try and support local business. However, the delivery was appalling in that the third party company they use failed to deliver on both allocated days (they missed the first one due to the driver exceeding driving time and the second time, after chasing, they advised that the item did not make it onto the van for that day). On calling Roseland many times, I was advised that they can only email the delivery company as they don't have phone lines working (several weeks of not working), so there was always a waiting period to hear back, on one occasion being told not to expect a reply that day. I have now cancelled the order and despite being promised confirmation of the refund yesterday, have not heard anything and have yet again, sent an email asking what has happened. Given that I live locally (within 1 mile), Roseland should have been a little more proactive in resolving the issue, by organising alternative delivery, and thereby ensuring positive customer experience and ongoing business, both from us and the local community. As it stands, I would not recommend them if you expect items to be delivered to you. We have purchased other, smaller items from them in the past and have always been pleased with the range and quality - this has really let them down.

Dear Monique, We apologise that the delivery did not go as expected an consequently causing you to cancel your order. This is something that we will look at with our logistics team to see if we can improve the delivery of the Sofa's locally. The delivery of these does take some time I'm afraid as they come direct from our suppliers. I can also see that a confirmation via email was sent to you yesterday regards teh refund. ORDERED TV STAND 16TH JULY. DELIVERY PROMISED 23RD JULY BETWEEN 11.45AM - 1.45PM. EMAIL AT 1.55 PM TO SAY DELIVERY HAD BEEN CANCELLED. AFTER MANY PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS ON 28TH JULY I HAD PHONE CALL TO SAY THE TV UNIT HAD BEEN DAMAGED IN TRANSIT,AND COULD NOT SEND ME ANOTHER REPLACEMENT UNIT BECAUSE THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK. I CANCELLED ORDER AND NOW AWAIT MY MONEY BACK.I WONDER HOW MANY PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS THIS IS GOING TO TAKE.

Hello Andrew Crane. We have checked tis for you and unfortunately the courier had damaged the item in transit. Refunds are applied when the item has been returned to us. Once back we refund straight away, depending on the bank or credit card provider will depend on how long this takes to drop back to your account. kind regards Roseland

Poor overall experience. Chasing for updates and took 4 months to arrive damaged. Terrible quality furniture. Can’t argue with how well they handled my return and refund. Unfortunately I won’t be risking a return visit.

2 items have damaged back panels, price reasonable quality poor, unfortunately no time to send it back with being in the middle of a house move. courier used delivered absolutely rubbish one person on a small truck, when box clearly says 2 person required and no way to contact them to change delivery

Firstly had I known that I would not be given Atleast a days notice of delivery I would not of ordered. The item I received came damaged so I wanted to exchange it for a new one. They could not give me and date they would collect the damaged item or when the new one would be delivered as the couriers email you in the morning on the day which is ridiculous for big furniture. The replacement was then lost in the ware house I chased up the company several times and said they would get back to me but never did. The new item has now arrived and that’s damaged aswell. I now have the hassle of sending this one back aswell. Not happy with the service at all.

Hello, I am sorry that the delivery and collection have not met your expectations. Unfortunately the couriers do not give us times or days at present and have not done so due to the current situations. Most of which are out of our control. Mostly due to sheer volume of freight since the start of the pandemic and the shortages incurred with available staff levels. Still waiting for delivery. Expected Saturday only to be notified during that day that delivery was cancelled. Then they sent a redelivery email during the following week to inform me that it’s was being delivered the next day - no time to plan. I cancelled it later that day. Never heard anything for over a week and when I contacted them they told me it was delivered 🤷🏻‍♂️ Now planned for next week but not on a day I requested. Poor.

Thank you for your review and I am sorry to hear this. I can see that the couriers unfortunately had to cancel delivery on the Saturday as the driver was taken ill as explained by the delivery company. Unfortunately, with it being a Saturday, they were unable to find anybody to cover the delivery run at such short notice. I have looked at the couriers information and they state that delivery was attempted on Tuesday 20th July. I can see that they have marked this as attempted but that nobody was able to be at home to take delivery. I can see that they have now rearranged delivery for Tuesday 3rd August. Terrible quality - flimsy as anything; would fall over on my child with the touch of a finger. they say it’s solid wood but actually it’s the light kind of plywood you would use to build a child’s boat for a lake. Not sustainable either; made in Vietnam with this plywood that would mean the furniture would have to be thrown away in a few months. Not what it says on tin! The cost of shipping it from Vietnam and the carbon footprint plus poor quality at end of day, terrible and out of sync with today’s consumers. Customer service on return was great though.

The bedside table arrived in perfect packaging but the item was damaged due to the poor construction; the drawers didnt fit the frame and it was stamped in the back "inspected" they processed refund quickly when I contacted them but no apologies even for such poor quality. No trust to Roseland!

Ordered a large sideboard and waited 4 months for it. When it arrived it was damaged but they offered £45 refund to keep it. At the same time the unit went in the sale with a reduction of approx £135 but they would not reduce it by this amount. I kept the unit as I had boxes everywhere and couldn’t be bothered with the hassle of returning it. It’s beautiful furniture but shame about the fact they would only refund £45

Ordered Chichester corner cupboard. It arrived very quickly but, my goodness, it was in a terrible state. One of the legs was completely smashed off, both doors had gouges on them and the front had a split. It was evident that it had come straight from Vietnam to our address without any checking whatsoever. When I contacted the company, they had a very efficient returns policy which led me to believe that this sort of thing could be commonplace. We actually like the unit so have decided that we will give Roseland a chance to supply a replacement which isn’t smashed to pieces.

It looks from the photos that the unit has been damaged in transit by the couriers between leaving us and arriving with you. It did not come straight from Vietnam to your address, this was sent from our warehouse in Gloucestershire. I can see that this took 3 working days to deliver from the point of placing your order. Hi all, We received two parcels. One was nice, the other one was all damaged without any visible issue to the packaging. The all furniture was kept together with many staples randomly distributed on the back of the furniture…

Thank you for your review. The item that you ordered was out of stock as per the website listing at the time of placing the order. I can see that we dispatched the wardrobe when it came into stock and that the courier company emailed you on the 12th July for delivery today. I am sorry that this has taken longer than expected. Extremely disappointed with level of service after receiving a faulty coffee table. Still waiting for a replacement after three weeks and numerous emails and phone calls! If there was the option I would have given no stars!

Had to chase for a delivery date, then when they did arrive all items were damaged. Roseland quickly agreed to exchange the items but were in no way interested in getting these items to me quickly. Sometimes mistakes occur and things are damaged, that’s life, however how it’s dealt with is the measure of a companies customer service commitment….. I won’t be using this company again as there are no shortage of furniture providers that provide equivalent quality with superior customer commitment.

Hello Stephen, I am sorry we have not met your expectations so far. Unfortunately we cannot express these larger items as they are too heavy for the middle road couriers, they have to go via a 2 man service. Our couriers are outsourced and we work closely with them on timings. Unfortunately, unlike other furniture retailers we do not carry our own fleet of lorries. I've just opened the box of one of the two bedside cabinets that we purchased two weeks ago. I have several photos but this site will only allow me to download one. The veneer on the top has been sanded away then varnished there are saw marks on the edges of the top, the edges have not been fitted to the top properly and very badly filled and varnished very sub standard workmanship
