Courier (XDP) shocking service - paid £25 for Saturday delivery they tried to deliver it on the Thursday and the Friday before, left no card, then tracking on website said expected Saturday in a two hour time frame and it didn’t even get delivered at all! So I waited in all day for nothing. I spoke to Roseland on the Monday and to be fair they refunded my £25 without question. But I have since looked at their Facebook page and found a post from a year ago where someone commented that XDP couriers are shocking and Roseland publicly agreed and said they were trying a new courier. So why a year later are XDP still getting the job!!! When the bookcase arrived - on Monday at 3.30pm the box was slashed open and crushed but luckily the goods were fine. But all in all not acceptable. I will not be using Roseland Furniture again.

Sadly the unit was delivered in a damaged state which happens, what was to transpire after was a disaster. I contacted Roseland immediately and sent pictures of the damaged unit they agreed to get it collected and would refund as soon as they received the unit back. They arranged for the courier to collect on three occasions, on three occasions they just didn’t turn up leaving my partner furious having wasted 3 days in the lead up to xmas waiting in to no avail. On the fourth occasion the courier did turn up but didn’t give any time slot they rang me and in turn I rang my partner who rushed home (unbelievably they waited) this was three weeks after the original delivery. A week later I still hadn’t been refunded and after a couple of emails and telephone calls where Roseland said they still hadn’t received the unit they finally relented and refunded me in full. Whilst I am understanding that this was a busy period just before Christmas my experience was pretty awful. With regard to the unit the reason I didn’t want a replacement was that I thought the quality was pretty poor even though I know it was fairly cheap. I found the telephone staff to be friendly and they tried to be helpful but I won’t be using Roseland again.

The product was good and well packaged. However, The courier (XPD) was awful. I have never encountered such bad performance before from any other courier. You need to review reviews of XPD and decide if they are the firm that represents your delivery.

Ordered as a xmas gift for my husband and paid £25.00 extra for a Saturday delivery so he would not see it. It was delivered to him on the Friday, completely ruined an expensive gift/surprise. Book case is very lovely, terrible service.

We were given a delivery date. But it didn’t turn up. We were then given a 2nd delivery date. I then received a email of tracking of our unit was being delivered on a different date? 2 days earlier no confirmation with Roseland.

The product was as advertised and finally delivered undamaged. The carrier company was a complete car crash. Three lots of misinformation, missed delivery dates, no means of contacting the carrier and when it finally arrived was left outside the front door with no word it had been delivered. Roseland is a good company spoiled by a sub-standard delivery service.

The sideboard was OK size wise, but it did not look like oak, more like pine. The drawer fronts were a completely different colour to the rest of the cabinet, and graining on the frame was not selected smooth pure unmarked oak. Very disappointed. Nothing like illustration.

Ordered five items for the bedroom, one arrived damaged (it happens) but one was made incorrectly with red glue visible on the top where the wood is jointed. Replacements arrived today and the new dressing table has the same issue with red joints on the oak top - not great and something that could have easily been checked before shipping.

Customer service is good but let down by the product quality control. So far two console tables have arrived broken. Obviously not checked before dispatch.

Very disappointed. The finish was not good. The inner shelf was not fitted properly and there were nails sticking up on it. How did it pass quality control?

very pleased with the nest of tables , excellent packaging...…….however, can't comment on the tv cabinet,as still awaiting delivery, even though we paid for express delivery .After the phone call this morning I am assured that the item will be delivered on thursday

I bought this sideboard and was dissatisfied. Colour was completely different then shown on the picture. I am doubting even the quality of wood. This sideboard is far too expensive.

The furniture was great the delivery was appalling. Stated the delivery should be 2 man. Knock on door. One delivery guy. Instead of using a trolley or something dragged the box from the van to the front door. He got a signature then left the delivery at the front door. I have multiple sclerosis so had to get a neighbour to help me lift it indoors and then upstairs. Driver just disappeared. Very poor service. Won’t bother ordering anymore items.

Very disappointed delivery didn’t arrive on time and product not upto standard keep finding faults with it was not offered a deduction for late delivery

Wasn't overwhelmed with this product looked and felt very cheap for oak bedside cabinets and I should know I shop a lot with oak furniture land.....disappointed.

Ordering simple delivery prompt and on time.however when unpacked top of unit had a blemish when i contacted roseland about it they said it was a medullary mark and that they could not offer an exchange and if I wanted to return it I would have to pay for the privilege.I would not recommend them simple quality control checking would have picked it up
