I purchased a chest of drawers from Roseland on 9th November. I was then contacted by their courier, XDP to say that they had collected it on the 11th November. At the point of purchase the indicated delivery date was 13th November and XDP emailed to say they would deliver between 8.55pm and 10.55pm on the 13th. It is now the 19th November and I have still not received the chest.

After ordering, I saw the same cabinet in B & M for £60 pounds less, so although nothing wrong with the quality, I’m very very disappointed that I have paid much more money than I needed to .

Bought two bedside drawers. First delivery both had to be returned due to damage. When re-delivered one had to be returned due to damage. It took 3 weeks before I had my furniture.

Incapable of managing their couriers. Failed to deliver twice. Three times requested a call back from store and got none. Was told they were waiting on the couriers response meanwhile I wasted a second day waiting for a delivery they could not trace. Eventually rang the couriers direct even though I had no consignment details and they were really helpful. Took me less than 5 minutes to sort and it was delivered 8.30am next morning. Why couldn't you do that Roseland??

I just want to clarify my star rating as to be honest, the furniture itself is fantastic; however, the delivery driver came alone and refused to do anything more than leave the furniture at the front door forcing my wife and young daughter to struggle getting these two chests of drawers in the house and up the stairs into the bedroom. Very poor service there. If the website suggested that you need a team the other end as the drivers do nothing, at least I could have made arrangements; however, the website didnt suggest this at all. I would happily pay for this service so that I am happy that my product arrives safe and in the right place end to end.

Was really unsure when the item was going to be delivered to my mother in a care home, little help. I went to the home hoping it had arrived it was fully packaged upside down - chest of draws. So I had to unpack it, very damaged. Rang straight away and sent photos on Saturday but still haven’t heard anything. Was told I needed all the packaging so this is taking up space in my mother’s room. Really unsatisfactory

Firstly let me say that apart from a small crack on the glass of my TV unit, I'm delighted with my items. The customer service and delivery, however, were an absolute shambles. No delivery updates, items were shipped separately and then one item wasn't delivered at all (although I paid for express delivery) and had to be re-ordered. Customer services then failed to email me like they promised and didn't rebook delivery on the day of my choosing, so it was attempted when I was at work. No need in this day and age for such bad service and communication.

Was very disappointed by the quality and workmanship of what we’d expected Brush marks looked very amateurish sadly and the cracks on the top that we were told were the finish were in our opinion ugly We asked for a return and refund as it wasn’t in any way what we’d longed for sadly The firm were very responsive to our concerns Given the cost we’d expected more

Have placed 2 orders recently and unfortunately both items were received in a faulty/damaged condition. In my opinion this is down to poor quality control before the items are packed because the actual packaging of the boxes is fantastic.

The furniture is of reasonable quality - nothing spectacular, but hopefully it won't fall apart. But the delivery and communication process is appalling. Roseland's courier XDP fail to turn up on the specified day, only have a premium-rate phone number to contact on (which is never answered), no meaningful live delivery tracking service and only an email address for your local depot (which is, of course, never answered). XDP lie to customers, sending emails claiming they've attempted a delivery when in fact they've not turned up all day - I know this from experience unfortunately as it happened to me. They have no regard for customer service and are a shocking company; it beggars belief why Roseland Furniture are associated with them. Roseland themselves are not particularly helpful in trying to remedy delivery problems. They expect you to wait at home the next day with no regard to customers' work commitments and do not accept criticism of the delivery process. I would not buy from this company again - the stress involved in the delivery process is too great. Pay the extra and use a reputable, well-known brand instead.

I ordered a lovely slim bookcase on line. The website told me they could deliver in a few days and I was delighted. It stated free delivery in UK. They then charged £25 for 'speedy' delivery. I phoned the day before order was due and was told it was OK. On the day of delivery I couldn't open delivery details and phoned them again. They called back an hour later to say courier was too busy. I told them I paid for speedy delivery. I was told the delivery charge was for delivery to Scotland and gave me no indication of delivery date. Beware, free delivery in the UK.......unless you live in Scotland. Order cancelled.

Thankfully the product (wardrobes) and packaging is good. Service and comms VERY poor Paid extra for a Saturday delivery, that meant a 3 week lead-time!? eventually delivered on a Tuesday in 2 1/2 weeks... after much chasing and hassle Delivery dates not those stated on website

Unfortunately the table arrived broken. I ordered a replacement. On the morning the replacement should have arrived I got a message saying the collection had not been activated. I cancelled. Really sad as the staff were friendly and helpful.

I ordered 4 pieces of furniture and sadly each one was damaged. how ever on contacting the staff at Roseland they were extremely apologetic and instantly offered to replace all the items

Very nice and looks lovely, BUT the baskets are such a tight fit in the frame and very very difficult to pull out and even more so to push back in, you have to hold the main frame firmly in place and push and pull so it does move all over the room. I do not know how long the baskets will last with this hard tugging/pushing! They distort during this process, don't give them long. Poor do! Melvyn Dixon.
