This review is for many deliveries. Items are almost invariably late. Others get delivered to the wrong address with semi-random places photographed as evidence of delivery. This is particularly annoying as it massively delays getting refunds. Anything that states it will be delivered by Royal Mail or Parcel Farce fills me with dread. Utter rubbish. Spectacularly worse than every other delivery company.

Items described as being left in 'safe place', but just being left on doorstep (and then photographed by the postie and left as evidence of delivery on Royal Mail's website, which is hillarious). Deliveries marked as 'Delivery Attempted' when no attempt has been made. Very poor complaints system - no email option, only options are to call, which is not free and you will be on hold for a long time, or to post your complaint (which is ironic). Not the end of the world, I'll choose a different delivery company in future. It's just a shame it's gotten quite so poor.

I have not been receiving letters on a regular basis. They are arriving every 2 to 3 weeks. I have tried to navigate their web site which is a complete waste of time and is geared up to NOT deal with people's complaints! We have had issues like this in the past where the post man couldn't be bothered stopping because we are a bit out in the sticks. Then there was one post man who decided to throw all the letters in the field. The service is inadequate and the complaint service is non existent online. Like people have time to hang on the phone for a long time before they actually get through to talk to a person.

Useless website with 'automated help' services from a robot who endlessly repeats nonsensical questions which are unhelpful. Then when you ring you are told they are working hard to answer as possible and to show kindness to their team when they answer ... in what they estimate to be 50 mins!!! Just an absolutely terrible service. Royal mail executives dont give a monkeys about their customers, or presumably their employees. Hopefully royal mail will go out of business soon. According to their figures, they have had huge losses this past year and being investigated by ofcom for failure to meet services advertised ... not surprisingly given how useless they are and how awful their service is. Do not even consider using royal mail if you are reading this. Would be quicker to literally mail stuff by pigeons.

Tracked item not delivered when marked as delivered. When complaint made, updated to "Refused by recipient" Photo blurred and unusable. Numerous requests to redeliver both by automated phone call and website. None resulted in redelivery despite reference number given. No helpline phone number when all other robotic lines of enquiry exhausted. Totally useless and numerous hours wasted chasing up the loss

They lost an item I sold via eBay and sent 48 tracked, I provided the item number, how I bought the label via eBay, the fact that the tracking stopped, as a result I got spammed by auto replies, where they claimed I didn't provide it, a shady company trying to weasle out payment for items they lose, you then deal with somebody who is brainless and only trained in auto replies or a bot. Customer service ZERO At this rate RM has become worse than Evri, I will avoid them in the future, after having been lied to repeated.

I missed a delivery yesterday as noone was home. They put out a card saying that anotheer delivery will be attempted the next working day (today 11/10/23). I check the online tracking and see there's been an update and that there was another delivery attempt/no answer. This is untrue I was home no one knocked or delivered anything and no note was left.

Hi all, I believe my case might help others, hence posting it here and on Google to share the appalling experience I had to go through when using Royal Mail to ship a parcel abroad. I've paid for a parcel fully trackable + insurance + signature on receipt on September 26th showing Belgium as end destination. We're now in mid-November and my parcel is lost, that is nowhere to be found. Royal Mail customer service redirects me to a fully non-functional portal advising to submit a complaint form. If you've ever attempted searching for one on their site - best of luck, it's completely ghosted, a perhaps made on purpose in such a manner that a mistreated customer can't locate and so can't submit his/her complaint. It's currently a dead end, not to mention the full experience end to end feels both tired and outdated across all customer service touchpoints: via email, online or via phone. I would advise those of you sending parcels abroad and using Royal Mail to make your choice carefully.

We operate a business located on a bustling high street, our opening time 10am to 6pm Mon-Sat and unfortunately, we have encountered significant issues with the Royal Mail delivery service. Our parcels consistently arrive late, and the tracking information frequently indicates issues like "address not accessible" or "incorrectly addressed." or " Returned to sender" These persistent problems have had a detrimental impact on our business. We strongly suspect that no genuine delivery attempts are made, and it appears that your delivery personnel may not be putting in the necessary effort to ensure successful deliveries. here are some of our tracking details: YD111147852GB JY196889359GB KL520700796GB YD127647935GB also we have many non trackable services all of them are spare parts our customers waiting them Update: I had another Royal Mail tracked delivery YD127647935GB scheduled for today. Royal Mail provided inaccurate information, claiming that the address is inaccessible. Additionally, their delivery personnel submitted a fraudulent photo as evidence of the address being inaccessible. It appears that Royal Mail staff are providing false information, which is negatively affecting our business.

Guaranteed next day isn’t guaranteed now. Happened a few times now and very difficult to get through them to sort this mess. If you value your times use other service unless you have no options left.

I had important documents that needed to be delivered, paid £30.00 for a Guarenteed before 9am delivery, posted out at 9.30am on a Thursday for Friday Delivery, not delivered, not tracking for the day it was supposed to be delivered, got tracking on the Saturday that there was attempt to deliver, not true never even left the depot, called them and had t go and collect form sorting office. I have applied for a refund lets see how that goes. Really not Happy.

Repeated long delays of parcels. Tracker is useless, as says delivered when no delivery made. Happening consistently.

Would never bother sending anything with royal mail, they won't deliver it, even when it costs you £7, won't refund you and then just cause you extra frustration and expense by not answering the phone to you (after 10 minutes on hold they finally tell you you will be waiting another hour), the post office tell you to go online and the website doesn't allow you to do anything. It's a national disgrace.

Appalling postal service, with priority given to parcel deliveries over ordinary mail. But ordinary mail can include very important items, and 1 or 2 deliveries a week are way short of agreed service levels.

Waited in all day for a delivery, updated to say would be later, then said the delivery had been attempted but no answer which is completely untrue, I was at home at the time, and if they attempted why not leave a card to collect, they did neither.

Royal Mail is the worst of the worst delivery company. Almost every time I have problems receiving a parcel if it is delivered via Royal Mail. Deception, irresponsibility, terrible unpunctuality and indifferent attitude towards the client - this is what Royal Mail is now.
