“Posted sons birth certificate as urgently required. Paid extra to have signed on delivery. After 7 days no sign not at local sorting office, I purchased replacement. Royal Mail cars put through door on the day the replacement arrived insufficient stamp! Son unable to collect as working abroad. Eventually returned 2 months later. Compensation a book of 6 1st class stamps. Terrible service from a third rate company.”
“The Royal Mail parcel service is rubbish. No wonder the couriers are doing so well. Perhaps the Executives at RM should look at why and how the courier service works so well. They are better and cheaper!
As far as a fragile label on a parcel is concerned, this translates to throw it around as much as possible!”
“What went wrong? Royal Mail. 7 to 15 business days on standard mail to NZ? Rubbish! 2 mnths, still waiting. Will never again order anything from anywhere that uses Royal Mail. Sites should specify who they use as a carrier.

“I've made an order through an UK online retailer and paid an extra $20 AUD for tracking service as the parcel will be travelling all the way down to Australia. The tracking was never update on RM's website. Very disappointed and stressful as the parcel contained my wedding invitations.
I think online retailers should specify which company they will be using for delivery. If I see that RM is the delivery company, I would probably shop elsewhere.”
“Ordered item on 48hr service. Had emails and texts from RM over 2 days saying it's out for delivery between 12.07 and 15.07. that day. Waited in all day.. Nothing arrived.. Even the next day it's still saying due for delivery the previous day?? Rang C. Service and even they said it should've been delivered. So where is it? “We are a U.S. company that manufactures and fulfills orders from London. Royal Mail lost (or stole) over 10 percent of our orders for three months. Customers were angry at us and blamed us for bad service. Royal Mail changed out sorting facility and started tracking everything, and the lost orders did improve but we still have an inordinate number of orders going missing. I think I'm ready to pay more to post with UPS.”

“I hate when I order from companies and they use Royal Mail, the service is always terrible! Twice the tracking option has told me they accidentally sent my parcel to a different depot, the tracking service is so far behind the times compared to companies like DPD, handling fees are extortionate and customer service is always making excuses. I wish I could choose which delivery company to use when ordering things online because DPD are definitely my favourite”
“Where do I start?
-Tracking items is an absolute nightmare as they never update there website so you waste money paying for Tracked&Signed.
-The don't redeliver despite having booked redelivery 3 times for the same parcel!
-They make stupid excuses whenever complaints and claims are made about lost parcels.
-They sign away about items being delivered when in reality, they haven't!
There awful service has effected me as an individual and as an employee at a company that uses their services regularly and heavily rely on them. I's time we find a new postal service”
“I tried to track my parcel with the Royal Mail Parcel Tracking service which kept telling me that it would update me once Royal Mail had attempted to deliver the parcel. So, with no idea when it was due, I waited in for a whole day but popped out the next day for some shopping only to discover a note stating that they had attempted delivery and sent my parcel back to the depot. If you are going to have a parcel tracking service then make sure it works. Otherwise, it is pointless!!!! 😡”

“Had an item from China, cost £30, I had to pay £3.20 to custom, I had no idea when it arrived in the UK, I got no card telling me I had to pay
I only found out by contacting RM by chance. So I tried to pay for it online twice it said "ooop's that didn't work " so had to wait 25 minutes
on the phone and pay £11.20 an extra £8.00 for their fabulous handing charge and service an utter rip off for a monopoly, you cannot pay it to customs your self. So they can treat people with complete contempt, people need sacking!
