I started ordering a rug for my patio in March. Toward the middle of May I had not heard anything so I called only to find out that they did not have the rug. Two months wasted. I started searching again and in early June ordered a different rug. I heard nothing and called late in June/early July to find that the rug was on a container ship somewhere. I was assured that it really was coming. Here it is the middle of August and the rug arrived 10 days ago. Is this good service when I'm hoping to re-style my patio? I think not.

Communication is the most viable tool that awaiting customers demand.With little to no service updates the customer is left in the abyss.Frustration turns to regret and doubt about their purchases.

Order got delayed without notice. When I got in contact and found this out I then upgraded the order to a larger size. Again I had to a month later get in touch to see where the order was. Got response that it was shipping that day. And it seemed to. But wrong size came what 3 months after first ordered. I will never use you again. Your staff isn’t on top of things. I’m sure all may be working from home at these times. But they don’t work at all well from home. My order was forgotten and would have never gotten even the wrong size if I hadn’t got in touch. Not professional.

I am not moving into my new apartment until a certain date, so I put in the “special instructions” box not to deliver until that date. The rug shipped the next day, so now I have to work with fed ex as it will arrive more than a week early. “Do not deliver until a certain date” was literally one of the examples you had in the special instructions box.

I wrote an email to cancel my order, and instead of just calling the warehouse and canceling the rug, you sent email, after email which they did not receive I am guessing, since a few days later, I received an email saying the rug had shipped!! If this was 2 weeks ago, it might have been ok, but it was not, hence the cancellation. Bonnie Zabinski

I don't like your return policy. We will not shop with you again. The shipping company you use has a cumbersome delivery scheduling app. When I go to choose an option for delivery date/time, it crashes at the end of the selection process with no clear direction on what happens next (e.g. the date/time you've chosen is no longer available).

Poor communication regarding items being backordered (in fact, I never was notified), items shipped together when they were not, and the very long time it took to receive the rugs.

The rug was of the quality and size represented. RugsDoneRight processed the order efficiently and the rug was delivered in about a week as promised. BUYER BE WEAR: (1) Actual color of rug may vary from online image; (2) Return policy is rigid. Be sure you understand return terms to avoid surprises; (3) Cost of return shipping is buyer's responsibility and is much higher than expected. In my case - shipping from California to Georgia - estimated ship cost per website was $0.75/sq ft or ~$50. The actual return shipping cost via UPS ground (the lowest rate) was $250. Big surprise! (4) It is difficult to talk to anyone at company as there are long wait times. They seem to prefer to communicate on line rather than in person. They take two days to get back to you with an RMA approval which eats into your 14 day return policy time frame.

Well, I got an email to write a review, even though I still haven’t received my rug after I ordered 2 different rugs over a month ago. So I am giving this company a 2 star rating which is generous.

Very Poor Communication. Took money right away but hardly any communication unless I emailed them and it would take days before they got back to me and still no rug. It has been over 4 weeks.

Got the wrong rug, had to wrap it back up and send back, still haven’t gotten the 2 rugs I orders... I think it’s been a couple of months now and I’ve already found other options. Will prob return the items once I get them... whenever that is.

I was very careful when ordering the rug to indicate the sku number and color because I was aware of the similarities of two rugs. When I saw the confirmation email a photo of the rug and it was the wrong color. If I did not open the email immediately or if the photo was not included I probably would have received the wrong one. I called and the order was corrected only because I caught it in time.
