Third home delivery in a row with out of date product! I had informed you previously and was reassured it wouldn’t happen again, open packets also delivered, you issue a money off voucher that is then out of date two days later, clearly there’s no one checking what your stores or customer service are actually doing, always out of stock of basics, since the departure of Justin king things have certainly gone downhill at Sainsbury’s

Occasionally one makes inadvertent mistakes, but today in the process I discovered a new oxymoron, " Sainsbury's Customer Service" Having queued in traffic to get into the car park I realised that I did not have a £1 coin to get a trolley. ( Why are Sainsbury's the only supermarket in the area that have this inconvenient system. I went into the store to get some change and found that they have moved the "customer service counter" even further from the door because they have installed even more self service points and a scan as you go service is being introduced. Why go shopping if I have to do the work myself. Online, same price but someone collects the goods and delivers them home for me. Are Sainsburys trying to get rid of in store customers? Arriving at Customer services the one lady was busy and a queue waiting to be "served" As I decided to go to another supermarket I saw a "Manager" stacking vegetables. He was less than interested and quite rude. Surely Sainsbury's would do better to pay two extra staff, one to help at customer services and one to stack the vegetables, Win Win and probably a saving for Sainsbury's as well.

Get your rancid pasta whilst stocks last !! Pasta bought 28th August . Use by date 23 sept Completely ruined evening meal on holiday. Made a complaint they offered me £3.30 in compensation (Pasta cost £1.70). Bottom line. Be vigilant in this supermarket and don’t bother taking time to report shocking rancid foods.

The worst online shopping experience I… The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Cancelled a whole weeks food order an hour it was due to arrive. Gave me no explanation why it was not coming, just that they had no one to bring it!!! Had no time to shop with anyone else for that day so left me in the lurch. Will never ever rely on them again. Whole shop for a party that night......not arrived, just dont take the gamble and dont use them.

I have been a Sainsbury's customer for 30 years and this is the first review I have ever written. What a decline in service and quality of product! In Store (West Auckland, County Durham), regularly fresh fruit and veg, has gaps/ out of stock, or is of such poor quality, that I've walked out and gone to Tesco's. No real stock on their "Fesh-Fish", counter. Nothing like Morrison's. Even their own brand, household products have been out of stock! Home Deliveries. A complete drop in quality and availability. My last four deliveries have had:-, Six Sainsbury's own products have been substituted with "main brand", higher cost items. 2 qty fresh/ loose Pears, substituted for 4 qty pears, on a wrapped tray, with only two days on their "best buy date"! Ironically, they were, "rock-hard" and even after a week, were inedible. Mushrooms, sent back as they were brown and had no useable life left in them. Loose Broccoli, not available. (Is this part of Sainsbury's initiative to reduce plastic? If so, why send me Broccoli wrapped in plastic? (Plastic wrapped tends to be "loose stalks)" and you cannot check the freshness, on delivery. Choice of wine, is regularly substituted. My last, "home delivery", cost me an extra £7, as I could not get back onto their, On-line" site to complete my order! What a change and not a good one.

I barely write reviews but it was really hard not to write one. Their online service is just bad, really bad, actually even worse than bad. Not sure why even they have an option of online delivery. Maybe only to lose customers who have shopped with them for over 10 years. Delivery people are great and helpful but when you get delivered products after used date, or just about to expire or 1/5 of your weekly order missing or replaced without any thought not only once but 4 times in a row you ask yourself question WHY? Just a waste of time and disrespect for a loyal customer. Not worth your time!

Very poor service. First I'm told the van has broken down and they've rebooked my delivery for the next day. It doesn't show up. Customer service useless. All the offers/savings have now elapsed. I won't be using Sainsburys online again after 30 years of being a Sainsburys customer

SAINSBURY'S PETROL STATION HORLEY I am a daily customer (either myself or my family). Am extremely disappointed with the lack of knowledge and customer service displayed by the manager when I asked if I could pay with Jersey currency (as I have several times in the past). Rude and unhelpful to a loyal customer. The problem is not he didn't accept the payment, I ended up paying by card, but how utterly unhelpful and unprofessional he was. Customers deserve to be treated with RESPECT! Same day WAITROSE accepted payment in that currency...

I do online shopping once a week. Today is the second time my groceries have just not arrived. The first time it happened the driver said we were not home. I have no understanding why the driver would possibly lie but I guarantee you we were home. Shocking service. Customer service was useless informing me the second time that he is late. I already knew that as I had just spent an hour waiting. Actually I can’t be bothered writing anymore. I deleted Sainsbury’s app and now am expecting OCADO tomorrow morning.

Over charged on my online shopping. Spoke to Wolverhampton store who could not explain or understand why i had been charged £12 more than i should have. I cancelled the order. 10 days later still hadn't had my refund so called .com number who said that the store had not requested it. 2 days later i had a call back to process the refund for the amount it should have come to originally!!!! What about the extra £12??? Eventually got full refund a few days later. Will NEVER use sainsbury's again. Terrible customer service.

Car wash at Sainsbury’s garage caused £750.00 worth of damage, they are denying any liability and basically calling me a liar, disgusting customer service from head office, I have just been fobbed off, I will never spend another penny of my money in any of their stores or garages again and all of my family and friends who used to shop with them have also decided not to shop with them, so well done Sainsbury’s you have lost several customers!

Terrible, awful and rude service we experienced today from delivery driver Mr Michael. I'm customer of Sainsburys for 2 years. The Store manager Ms Zori Brown didn't help us. We complained, we called different numbers, so hard to find who is responsible for that unrespectful behaviour. Look like they don't have proper manager, or head of the shop. They doing what they wish. We live in court, 2d floor, we had delivery all the time to step door, but today we were so upset for Sainsburys behaviour. We don't have now our products, so we had to go outside to eat. We had lots of stress for our money. And with that behaviour Sainsburys loosing customers., we were happy with Sainsburys products., but now we will change our shop.

Absolutely disgusting service with online shopping. We have been ordering online for a while now as we don t have a car, so getting it delivered to home made sense. As time went on we were getting random things put into bags and heavy things like carrots and potatoes put into softer things like raspberries etc, and therefore we were getting alot of items damaged and have to throw them away. It got worse and worse when I was ordering a lot of fresh meat. It was just rammed into bags without any care. I spoke to customer services about this for nearly 8 weeks running as I was getting packets of fresh meat being damaged therefore they were getting purferated holes in them or the packets were that badly damaged that they got to us ripped open and the lids coming off. This was so inconvenient as our nearest shop is about 1-2 miles away and it's only a corner shop and we do not have a car. It was also dangerous on a health point of view because if I had t noticed some of the fresh meat packets were damaged it could have caused food poisoning not knowing how long these packets were damaged for. I simply had to Chuck a lot of things away on a weekly basis and ring customer services on a weekly basis, I was getting tinned goods damaged too and other packet foods damaged as sometimes they were placed in the same bags with bottles of things, I kept ringing every week and customer service were so understanding and full of sincere apologies, they were offering me loads of vouchers in respect of the damaged goods. They even spoke to the manager of the pickers and packets to say that my problem was ongoing and was told that he was going to keep an eye on what was going on. So when that shopping came i just wasn t surprised that still nothing had changed. I ordered 1 fresh meat product that week but I always ordered a lot of strawberries, I had ordered 5 large 800g punnits as we eat a lot of fruit and they arrived with the packets undone and all of the strawberries were oozing and very mouldy with the growing all over them , we were absolutely disgusted that they sent those out to us like that, we were spending over £150 every week and promised things would get better , but they never did, it got stressful and annoying every week having to phone customer services as it seemed that because we had complained about things so many times, it almost felt like some of it was being done deliberatly. The strawberries were the last straw, it was obvious that their attitude was not going to change and the shop that Sainsbury s is , we are so disappointed in there service and they just don t care, they just seem to ram everything in there bags, but they are costing the customer time, money and patience. We will never ever shop with them again, they caused us too much hassle, also we got a lot of bad dates on stuff which was a right pain. They are absolutely useless and don t give a damn. We shop with someone else now and get a much better service !!!!

Awful customer service, delivery cancelled without being informed. Late to work due to being on hold to customer service. Finally told it had been cancelled after calling twice. Shane did not call me back as agreed and Amy put the phone down on me. Worst service I have ever received and we will certainly never be shopping there again.

A phone call to customer care advisor Mel has left me not wanting to return to Sainsbury's. Very very dissatisfied with her attitude and lack of care towards a customer having just spent. £131.46 in your Grimsby Store .

No response from customer services re website no complying with Sainsburys own terms and conditions with money off vouchers. The lack of response is not nee, this is an ongoing issue with Sainsburys who do not seem to care about their customers views/queries/complaints.

Appalling service at Harrogate store today - staff on door trying to get people to scan their shopping- one person on self service, struggling staff in checkouts - 3 staff standing around around nearby chatting and two checkout supervisors looking like like security guards but not supervising checkout queues or helping a slow checkout person on our queue. Complained twice, eventually brought out a member of staff and the other supervisor called a shopper with about 6 items to that checkout instead of us! After complaining we were moved to another checkout as ours still had not moved. Spent £120 then told afyerward we should have split this - no offer to do this. Complained to supervisor number one asking if she could issue us with petrol vouchers for the hassle and she said we could go back and put our shopping of £120 through again and split this - really!!!! - after queing for over 15 Minutes at 4pm. Or she could get a manager! No wonder they are going down the drain / back to Aldi for us with self managed queues! Found a pandora Bracelet in the car park took it and handed it into customer services who showed no interest in where or when I found it and just chucked it in post property - no record made!!! Shocking experience and not the sainsburuys I used to love!
