First order - items still haven't arrived despite dispatch message. Messages by email and chat ignored. Second order - I received a tall box with a heap of broken plants and soil at the bottom.

Several plants ordered but quality not good. Brachyscome multifida x 10 seedlings no life visible but tried to give them some TLC, all to no avail. Cosmos Apricot Lemonade x 10 seedlings, managed to help two of these. Dahlia, part of Abigail's Entourage never received. The company / Yodel tracking was useless. Most of the order had been delivered and thus no way of searching for missing plants. On phoning the company I didn't need to name the missing plant - it was known by them to be out of stock but there had been apology or explanation from Sarah Raven although a refund was offered immediately when I made contact. Very poor practice that it is down to the customer to do the chasing when orders cannot be honoured.

My Cosmos arrived in a terrible dry and wilted state , half of which have now died , Heliotrope and verbena in similar state .....customer services did not pick up at all on Friday afternoon ? and this morning I was told that my Antirrhinums have been cancelled by them , why they did not say ! I do feel that given the cost of these plants the quality is very poor .I have now asked for a refund ..I agree with the person who said in their review that the web site and catalogue have wonderful pictures of masses of flowers ,its a pity they don't send them out to paying customers.

Still waiting for over £20 worth of plants and seeds that were supposed to be sent weeks ago, had no communication from Sarah Raven and will never ever order from here again.

Sadly all the plants arrived in a withered yellow condotion. I did email the company to sort this out but the email was returned and unasnwered.

Awful, cheap ink bottle vases. The stained glass colours soon completely fade when put on a window sill. These are not coloured glass at all but a cheap coloured film over the glass. Really expensive products that are actually cheap and nasty. Customer services don't want to know. Do not buy. Shocking how they can charge so much for a load of rubbish

I placed an order for 120 seedlings with Sarah Raven at the start of March. It's now the end of April, and I have only received 25 seedlings out of the 120 that I ordered. Since March, I have received around 10 emails informing me of various delays with my order. Each plant has been delayed by 4-6 weeks, adding significant frustration to the process. While their website showcases beautiful flower bouquets, the reality is that they have been unable to deliver on their promises. Regrettably, this experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied, and I won't be returning to this company for future purchases.

Our order due mid-April is delayed until 'sometime on May'. Contacted customer services as we are away for some of that time. They said they could not say when in May, nor could they avoid delivery in the time we are away. They were exceedingly unhelpful asking whether a neighbour could take receipt - issue is they need to be planted and watered quickly on receipt. We have had to cancel order and plans for this year's garden ruined. Dreadful company who don't care - AVOID!!!

Absolute shocking service. I made the error of sending a packet of seeds to the wrong address. ONE PACKET. I immediately contacted Sarah Raven through their chatbot and customer support line to be told that it was 'already processed' and that they would not cancel the order or organise a refund. Their only option was to refuse the order and send it back at my expense. As slick an operation as they think they are, this is a scam. They are not Amazon, dealing with 000's orders per hour. I will not be purchasing from these rip-off merchants again. It is an insult on so many fronts.

Very disappointed. I order two packets of sweet pea seeds that I had used before. These arrived this morning - February 24 with a use by date of December 2024. I have never received seeds - from a reputable and not cheap firm - with less than 2 years let alone only 10 months to use. I contacted Customer Services and the response from Aimee was 'Hello, sorry to hear you are disappointed with your order, your feedback will be passed onto our nursery team.' - not acceptable and shows no concern re valid customer feedback. Poor service and feedback seems to be a recurring theme with Sarah Raven site and products - I will be very cautious before using again.

Ordered a bird bath for my friend's special birthday, arrived completely broken. Terrible packaging. They said they would send another the next day, nothing arrived for 10 days. Phoned back, no items in stock. This company clearly has no idea what they're doing. Avoid.

Very disappointed,awful quality on dahlia tubers,very poor display also thought they could put other varieties in the place of specifically ordered ones,now flowered they care clearly not what I ordered.

I revived the wort specimens of seedlings I have ever seen . Not only were they dead and took days to get to me they were clearly so root bound they should have never been sent in the first place . The pots I ordered were also cheap inferior quality plastic compared with others . It’s a pity as the advertising and promotion of its products has really been done beautifully . Unfortunately the products do not match up my first and last order . Go to your local garden centre instead .

There is a huge and gaping chasm between Sarah Raven’s glorious catalogues and what is actually dispatched to customers. My £50 order contained insipid and spindly plants that had all but given up the will to live and which bore little or no resemblance to what was expected. How they passed any kind of quality control before being dispatched is beyond me. Is no one tasked with checking things? Calls to customer services were answered by a string of people who had little idea of how to properly deal with an unhappy but very keen gardener who has spent a small fortune with SR in recent years. Sorry, but avoid is my top tip. You’ll probably do better for many things in your local supermarket and for a fraction of the price!

I'm a huge fan of Sarah Raven I think her cut flowers are truly aspirational. However, this is my second experience of waiting weeks for an order. She charges the same as other online companies and they manage to get the deliveries shipped to you within a week. I think she needs to employ more staff as this is truly unacce

Several orders... Tubers arrived with gall Tubers qrrived broken and bot viable Aubergines arrived drenched and rotted Comsot arrived behaded and shriveled. One missing. Delivery sat for 2 days before it said it would arrive Never again.

Ordered over a month ago with an anticipated despatch date of 2 weeks. No courtesy letter explaining delay. It took 2 phone calls and a long waiting time to speak to somebody and surprise surprise they are being posted today! We will see. What a shame that beautiful photography and good marketing material is not backed up by this company

Truly appalling service and if there were a no star rating they would be getting it! Ordered 3 gift boxes of bulbs mid September for a relative, all were shown as in stock with a delivery date of late September. Two months later they were still showing as 'Awaiting Dispatch'. After 3 separate phone calls during this time I had been told they were held up at customs/ staff illness/returned due to poor quality etc. etc. Not surprisingly I am still awaiting a reply to my e-mail requesting information on my order from 9 days ago. On 23rd. November I had an e-mail saying my order was being dispatched but on reading further it was clear that only part of the order had been shipped and one gift box was still 'Awaiting Dispatch'. Today when I checked My Orders to see any progress I was amazed to find it showed the payment for the outstanding box of bulbs had been refunded - without any notification, explanation or apology. If I hadn't checked on the website I would still be waiting. What a shambolic way to do business and a total lack of customer care! It really feels like 'take the money and run'. At no time between ordering and finding out today that part of my order had been refunded did I receive any notification from them updating me on delivery times/ apologising for the delay of almost two and a half months or even letting me know that they were unable to supply part of my order and refunding me. They really need to get their act together and sort out their supply chains, their advertised delivery dates and most importantly their communication with customers. It is not enough to have a flashy brochure, their service needs to match it. In this case particularly, as on previous occasions I feel it has fallen woefully short and they have lost one more customer for good.
