No customer service. Takes 2 weeks (if that) to respond to queries. The second part of my order has never arrived and they don't even have a phone line. Will never use again - stick to Gardening Express.

Ordered houseplant Pelargonium Attar of Roses. Informed her we would be away and to defer delivery until after 24 June. It was despatched to our home address on 11 June and left on the front doorstep. When we returned home it was gone. One neighbour stated that she saw it there, and then disappeared. Tried to telephone about this, automated message said phones weee down. Could not reply to her earlier message. Poor communication. Would never buy from her again.

No possibility to speak to anyone or get a reply to an email. You have no credibility unless your customer service works! Ordered plants with delivery date early June- never came! now showing delivery July when I’m away so no good to me. Cannot contact anyone or get a reply to an email.

Asked to cancel order because a week after placing the order everything went in sale. Yet did not received my order. Order then arrived and I asked for some compensation. Plants also in v poor condition. Have been trying to contact customer service for the last ten days. No reply. Worst ever customer experience. System will not even accept photo of rubbish plant.

Split delivery then wrong delivery. Final delivery 6 weeks after order. Plants when delivered were a mix of colours NOT the colour ordered. Complete shambles

Appalling customer service, infact its non existent. The telephone number is disabled, because they're so busy, so your only option is to use the message service. You receive a standard response, telling you a response will be given in 5 to 7 days. GUESS WHAT - No Response. Customers just want to be updated in a timely manner, not left to chase and chase. When you pay a premium for plants, pay upfront, you expect the product to arrive and when it doesn't arrive you want to know why . This is the last order Sarah Raven gets from me.

I placed several orders. They arrived late or not at all. Plants that did arrive were small, in poor condition and in one case the wrong plant. Two plant collections I ordered were delayed until it was too late to get them anywhere else. I was then told the order could not be fulfilled and I would be refunded. No refund has yet arrived. Emails go unanswered

The plants were bought with a birthday gift card. I ordered 3 orange thyme and a rudbekia because the plants on the photographs looked in excellent condition and it said they were in stock. After a long wait half of my order arrived. The packaging was in perfect condition but the thyme plants inside were sparse and thin and half dead. Nothing like the plants shown so I sent an email re my disappointment. No reply as yet. A week or so later the rudbekia arrived. It had leaves but that was about all the remainder of the plant had left. A total of 7 stems had been cut off. Another email was sent re my disappointment. If the plants sent were an example of what to expect then I will not be ordering again because the garden centres in my area look like Chelsea flower show winners in comparison. I can't fault Yodel as the boxes were in perfect condition. I'm just sad that the plants that I was excitedly looking forward to receiving turned out to be so disappointing. I have tried to post my photos but for some reason it keeps telling me to try again later. Which I will do.

My plants arrived in an awful state all yellow and dying. I emailed the same day and was told they would send me replacements. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything I emailed again and was told that they were not.ordered and were now out of stock. I have sent numerous emails and have just been told they will refund me. No apology for them not being reordered straight away. Ruined my plan for my garden this year. Shocking customer service and quality of plants. I have had plants from S R for over 10 years and the quality has got worse over the last 4 years. Won’t be getting anything else from them any more.

Funny how they can keep the customer service line closed but the sales line open. Spoke to a lovely lady who understandably can only place orders and send messages through to a different team. They really need to think about expanding the team or something. Dahlias arrived in the worst condition you have ever seen. No reply 4 weeks later. Chargeback in place.

delivery very slow --multiple delivery dates for same order. 2 deliveries plants were damaged on arrival. complaints to customer service not responded too appropriately --only offered free delivery on next order!

Hazel cells ordered in April to quickly fill and get going in a prepared gap in a mixed hedge - delivery cited and paid for as in a few days - finally arrived 14 June, hight of heat wave, all leaves crisped, no msg or idea as to still alive, near dead or dead. No reason given for such ridiculous delay during planting season in email response to my eventual complaint 2 weeks ago, when last tracking check showed picking date would be end June. Plants should have been ready to go when advertised. Hazel cells still being advertised on website today, again with no notice of delay to unsuspecting! Impossible time-wasting service and a great disappointment.

Very disappointed with the quality of the plants: dead, broken, weak..just not what you expect. Customer service was very slow to respond. I have had refunds so that is the only good thing. What has happened??

I received no confirmation email or order number but they took the money on my card. I luckily only ordered one dahlia plant. I’ve tried to contact them but having no order number makes it impossible by email and they have closed their phone line. I shall never ever use them again, to add insult to injury their emails encouraging you to buy with offers on plants keep landing in my inbox.

What has happened at Sarah Raven? Ordered in April, delivery dates kept getting pushed back. Plants arrived in dribs and drabs either dead or in such terrible condition they weren’t viable. Finally got a refund for the majority of my order. I ended up buying lovely healthy plants from my local nursery. Unfortunately I will not be buying anything from Sarah Raven again. Sad to see so many poor reviews and her reputation going down hill.

Plants ordered in March ,were due mid May. It is nearing the end of June and no plants have arrived. I spent £146. I have written three emails over the last month and have had no response and the phone lines are closed and you are not able to comment on social media. So there seems no way to find out what is going on. I have now contacted my bank for help.

I think the 28% recommendation rating for Sarah Raven at the top of this page says it all. If I was a consumer business and I took 3 weeks to respond to emails from customers, whilst at the same time providing no contact telephone number for customers to call, I would not be in business very long. They do, however, provide an order telephone number which suggests they are all about bringing in as much money from new business as possible, whilst abdicating responsibility for any follow up customer service. This is a surefire way to lose the many dedicated customers you already have and to me is just so short sighted. I just spoke to a lovely, but understandably frustrated and exasperated sales person, who told me she cannot do anything about existing orders. She clearly spends her days fielding calls from angry customers just trying to get some form of response - anything - from the customer services team. It is really unacceptable for SR to say on the website that they have suspended their phone lines and can only be contacted by email when it takes weeks for them to respond. My first email about a non viable product was sent to customer services on Apr 24th. The first response from SR was almost 3 weeks later on May 13th. I received a confirmation the following day that a replacement had been ordered. Since then, no order has arrived and there's been no response to the follow up email I sent on June 2nd, to find out the status of my order. When I tried to track it online, it came back with 'no order found'. The upshot - it's coming up to 2 months since I first contacted SR and my query and order status remain unresolved. I guess my only option is to email AGAIN and hope someone responds. It's incredibly frustrating and just downright contemptuous of customers. Really Sarah Raven please do better.

Wish I could leave no stars. I received a voucher for my birthday and paid for next day delivery as said items were supposedly in stock. I was expecting them to come today, Monday 9th June but looking at the tracker it said order received but delivery not until mid June. After taking money for next day delivery! I am so disappointed. I tried to ring but message said they were trying to catch up with emails and if you have already written to them not, to write again. I took this to mean they were dealing with complaints. Disgusting customer service and by the looks of it I am not alone in thinking this! I will not be purchasing anything else.

Yodel are appalling parcel left in full view outside my gate, said was left in outhouse. Would have taken 2 seconds to open gate and leave out of sight. Fortunately not stolen, but I have the rest of my order still to be delivered so will keep my fingers crossed that next Yodel delivery person can make the effort to open my gate. This will be my last order with Sarah Raven.
